The wiki has a good synopsis of the events up until now, but I'm sure someone can give you a gist of what's going on.

Just pretend to be a character when you talk on the forums. It's really easy, and you can be ANYONE you want, not just Persona people.

Battling God's of sin with personas. They've been invaded the forums every few days.

Role playing, it's like having a username called "Chie" and you just post comments trying to act like Chie.

Chie: MEAT!! Or even better... fSTEAK!

The concept isn't hard...the "Hey new guy, we kill gods of sin on a daily basis because we can also there are old gods and yknow what, read the wiki" can be hard to swallow.
