Persona 6 Female lead

I've heard some people talk about the possibility of persona 6 having female protagonist (not as an addition like in P3P but the actual cannon protagonist). I myself am a guy and I don't think I'd care whether the protagonist was male or female but what do you guys think. Do you think this is possible?

You keep basing things off JoJo, and part 6 had a female lead.
(I say knowing thats never gonna happen because most persona players in japan being male from what I hear)

I think Persona 6 it's possible. At least we should have the option to play with canonical characters of both Male and Female lead

Personally, I like the idea of choosing your sex and having all of the romantic options have their own personal orientation like in Mass Effect and Dragon Age. (you could go for everyone is bi too)

It probably won't happen but that's the best way to please everyone in this matter, I feel.

I mean its a japanese game so I know it wont have proper mainlain gays in it for years to come.

if theres gonna me a female protagonist, i hope theyre gonna make their storylines canon, with different endgames for both genders.
