How much moneys would it cost?

It's horribly expensive, it's like Free? I could barely afford it.

I'm playing P5 rn but I'll be on soon. I'm about to get to Futaba's Palace which is a major NOPE so yeah I'll play then.

How long does it take to gain levels and stuff

Depends on if you're going solo trying to do things fairly or if you're hiding behind higher level players in harder dungeons
Cuz if it's the former, you level up like its an SMT game
if it's the latter you level up like its a reasonable game

Jokes aside gaining levels is mostly reasonable until you get to my level (I'm the highest member of the guild at 27 since I've been playing way before anyone here brought it up) and grinding is hell here. But the people I've helped like Hazama and people level up at a more decent pace it seems. Should be noted gaining levels in necessary but not really the focus. Instead you should mostly be focusing on grinding Expertise, which basically means you'll be using skills to learn more of the same type.
For example, Casting Dia over and over and over again to learn things like Patra, Media, Diarama, Recarm, etc

Seems pretty cool I'll probably join if my computer doesn't explode lmao.

It's an old game, even if your computer is literal shit you should be able to run things just fine, and if there are any issues, you can still turn the graphics settings down a lot. Seriously the game is OLD. Like... I think it came out one year before Persona 4.
Make sure you read some of the posts in the SMT Imagine thread I posted above btw, it is a Chinese server so unless you patch it properly it's all in Chinese lol rip

The only problem with Imagine is that if you lag really bad, you get royally fucked up.

when you download the game, do i only take the zip file ? or do I also need to dl the binary data?

Yeah... unfortunately lag can be fairly bad, such comes with the Chinese private server.

I should probably remake the SMT Imagine thread with more detailed instructions on how to patch it. No you don't need to download the BD from the Google Drive.

Yeah I plan to take screenshots of, at the very least, the Aeria client patch since I know a lot of people had trouble with that

Make sure your account's name is made completely out of numbers

Yes yes it is Liam. I hear it helps with the lag so I'm trying it now.

The Aeria client patch is the preferred way to play the game because it
1) Translates ALL text rather than some
2) Helps alleviate some but not all lag
3) fixes the annoying ass music glitch that sometimes occurs where combat music starts but will never stop ever and will sometimes even play at the same time as other background music
