Is Shido a bad boss battle?
I heard from some people that Shido is a unfair fight and all around bad. What do you think?
I didn't think it was too bad, his final form can be a bit tough but other than that it's not bad. Persona 5 is so easy anyway so it's kinda weird to complain about any boss in the game.
>Persona 5 is easy
scrub
play on Merciless without NG+ like a real sheen megamay teensay fan
its more that the fight drags on so much longer than you'd expect, its not hard to be surprised by the phase shifts, especially since one of them occurs once his health bar is gone.
I think Shido is a good boss fight, he's a better final boss than the final boss, though the actual final boss is all right too I guess
5 Phases back to back... and a 1 shot chance attack.
Persona 5 has such an easily manipulated system though.
I liked Shido, he was easy with my trumpeter spamming the crap out of debilitate and one shot kill.
Shido took a while to beat for me mostly because my party was physical focused and well
clears throat
That damned phys immune mode? Yeah I hated that shit too.
He's not so much a bad fight but it feels like once you get to him (and then the good ending) the devs just kinda assumed you had Mishima and Hifumi maxed so you could switch out party members on the fly.
First time I attempted Shido that form led to my first game over:

It was this combo: Wage War->Everyone gets rage->MC attacks Shido->Phys Repel-> Dead
Shido is by no means bad though, the only boss battle I think is BAD is Cognitive Wakaba because it's biding time til you can shoot her down and wail on her.

(I don't count Shadow Okumura as a boss battle, and even if I did, I still enjoyed the fight more than Cognitive Wakaba)
It easy if you know what's coming and plan for it accordingly. For a first time with no idea? Well, you just have to hope that you have good luck and if you do fail, well, at least you know what's coming... damnit, now I have to do this... you'll never see it COMMIIINNNGG!

I actually kinda liked the Shadow Okumura "fight". It fits him, and forces you into awkward situations with the suicide attacks, by making you deal with that one before it explodes. Cognitive Wakaba was definitely pretty lame though.

Also I wished they had made better use of the "sending your party member to do something" thing. I mean, every time I can remember it, it was mandatory. Except for the first time, against Shadow Kamoshida. The reason I liked it at first was because it gave you an option, lose someone for a bit in order to get a significant advantage, or grind it out. At least, every one I saw, its possible there were more, and I just finished the boss too quickly to see it.
