Do you guys think Persona 5 was worth the wait?

I'm here to bring you my first topic here on this Phan-Site! So, we already know Persona 5 was...a pretty long wait! It kept getting delayed every year, but when it finally came out, everyone was like "OMG!! AHHHHHHHHHH YES! IM DEAD!!" And i reacted the same way as well. The game took at least four years to finally come out! Gotten Delayed in 2014, 2015, 2016, and got out in 2017! The game development has improved amazingly and I my opinion...is better than the other Persona games! I'm sorry, but I love this Persona game better! This Persona game has a lot of new features and is really awesome! I love the the storyline more than anything! Some people say "It wasn't worth the wait at all!" But I think it was! This game has brought fans of Persona together again! It was definitely worth it! What do you think?Was this amazing game worth the wait? Has anyone said it wasn't worth the wait around you?

The thing that made it worth the wait was it came out on April 4th one week before my birthday so it came out just in time for me to have money and a good reason to buy it.

Persona 5 is my game of the year for now. I'm still waiting on Dangnanronpa V3

I think it could be better. It didn't hit me nearly as much as P3 or P4.

P5 was clearly worth the wait in my opinion. RPG of the year 2016 and probably 2017 too. With all its flaws I can't find myself hating much about the game. One of the best games I've ever played, and I'm the type that's really indecisive when it comes to things like that.

@Aki-Joker sorry to hear that. The wait wasn't that long for me because I only just heard about persona at the beginning of 2016. So I can't relate to the struggle, but I felt that with how much time atlus took they did the best they could.

For me, Persona 5's plot hit me emotionally. The content was relatable to what I go through time to time so it has a special place in my heart but I was expecting P5 to take that route after playing through P4.

Lol I didn't need to wait. I stayed away from persona because it was a JRPG and I suck at them. I also never found them fun or interesting, but my friend wouldn't shut up about to the point where I just bought 5. honestly Idk what possessed me to buy it, I just saw it there. But it was the Best decision I've made in a while. Because of his constant nagging and praise of persona 5. I'm now I fan of persona, idk if I'll go for the main games though. But I feel bad for everyone who did need to wait from 4-5 that is one hell of a wait... Now I need to wait 20+ years for 6 like everyone else ;-;
