A Quiet Lakeside
*Well outside of the city is a large lake. The lake's clear water shines in the sunlight. Though the world around it has mostly been urbanized, this place seems to be a haven of nature, one where you can watch society move in the distance There's a forest around the lake, thick enough to hide in if you wanted, but thin enough that its no trouble strolling through*
*Gamma can be seen in a clearing near the lake, talking as he stares at the water*
"Its been a while, hasn't it? I probably should have come here more often. Considering this place is more like Japan I was pleasantly surprised to see fireworks a few days ago. This lake too. Glad to have been able to see something like this in all the chaos."

*maya walks up to gamma and stands next to him*

*Gamma jumps upon hearing Maya's voice, as though he wasn't expecting any visitors*
Um... Yeah. the water is pretty. I probably should have come here earlier.

Yeah, I guess so... Enough about me though. What are you doing here? Don't worry about it too much, many people don't seem to remember how they got here anyways. I mean this whole place of course. Not the lake. There's no road, so I imagine you walked to the lake.

I don't know how I got here, I remember waking up inside a phone booth in shibuya and that's it, I have no idea how I got here though.

Yeah, most people don't know much coming in. I just kinda walked into a tunnel and ended up thinking I was in Japan.
Turns out its so much weirder than that.
I'm not really much of a helper, but I hate seeing hypocrites. Always talking about friendship and never actually doing anything about it

If you are strong Gamma, then you can do anything on your own, but it can be hard, much harder than it needs to be. I trust in your judgement so I won't get into your way, but there will be times when you could use a friend or help, I will be there for you when that happens. It won't make you any less strong, it will make you smart, to know your limitations and plan accordingly.
*Maya looks at gamma and regains her former smile*

Yeah... I guess so. Hardly the first time I've been told something like that. Just... Don't expect any sort of effort from me. You can do whatever you want. And I'll keep doing my thing.

It was nothing special really. Quite a bit like this place, people everywhere and all. Though I didn't live near any city so it was quite a bit quieter.
*Gamma grins as he reminisces*
Still, it had its moments. I lived near a forest, and there was a lake within walking distance, so every now and then I would sneak out and visit there. It had a clearing that was going to be used to make a boat ramp, but plans for that fell through. Instead leaving me with a kind of nice secret place.
