GYM VII: The Protein Awakens
*Upon entering, you see a new board being posted by Kalib.*

{Hello, welcome to GYM. This is a facility (thread) that allows you to train for better combat (get a feel for writing combat related RP). This is open to everyone, and I'd be more than happy to assist you in your endeavors.}

*Kalib jumps in shock.*

Jesus Christ! What is it with people and sneaking up behind me!?

*He calms himself before smiling.*

I was gonna say you, but it seems you're already here!
Tatsuya
*he looks bewildered* Kalib we walked here together from Em's place. I've been with you the whole time in fact did you just not notice?

Hm? Come to think of it no....I was just hype to reopen GYM, not gonna lie.

*He scratches the back of his head.*
Tatsuya
*he sighs and steps out onto the floor* Well trust me people noticed. Me with the over sized chain sword and you yelling about a gym. At any rate if we're doing this should probably be careful... I'm fine cutting off my enemies limbs but yours really should stay in place.

*Kalib grins before clapping his hands.*

Phalanx of the King!

*Suddenly, a white garment is wrapped around his body before becoming transparent. He holds out his hand.*

Shoot me. Stab me. Do something, just aim at my palm, just in case I did this wrong.

*His hand cannon forms in his right hand and he aims dead center for Kalib's palm then fires a shot*

*Kalib closes his hand as the bullet makes impact and howls in pain.*

Owowowowowow! Note to self, muzzle velocity is a thing....

*Kalib grins as he opens up his hand, revealing the flattened bullet in his palm.*

There we go. And with that, I don't need to worry about getting disarmed!

*he whistles* Damm that's a neat trick. And yeah those bullets are big and they hurt. So then you think anyone will show but us?

*Kalib sighs.*

Probably not. Em was going to bed. Delta is MIA. And any of the other usual suspects are now the opposite gender.

*Kalib looks down for a moment.*

Well shit....when did that happen?

*At some point in the past while, Kalib has also changed in his appearance....and is now a she.*

Well, this'll make sparring a bit more interesting...I feel a lot lighter!

*he sighs* I'm really glad that hasn't happened to me. Can you imagine what Maya would of thought?

*In an instant, the doors to GYM open and a blue blur approaches Tatsuya and Kalib. Upon further inspection, it's Sonic.*

Hey there. Saw this place was open and came to check it out. How's it going?

*Kalib moves towards the back door.*

'Cause thinking about that takes away from being able to test out your new toy!

Oh pretty well man. Haven't seen any Eggheads or anything. *He grins* You come to test out the gear?

*Kalib does a heel turn as the blue blur enters the facility.*

Well I'll be! It's the blue hedgehog! Sonic, I think is what the Doc called him!

*Kalib walks over to the hedgehog and offers a handshake.*

Name's Kalib! Pleased to meet you!

Tatsuya, right? Saw you at Em's shop earlier. You work there or just good friends with the guy? I'd love to test out these attachments but... I don't have any Dust on me.

*He snickers a bit.*

You thinking of taking me on? I gotta warn ya-

*He's behind Tatsuya before someone could even blink.*

It's a bit hard to keep up with me.

*He walks over to Kalib and accepts his handshake.*

I see the Doc's been spreading my good name around. I'm surprised he didn't try and tell you I'm a bad guy like he did with Knuckles. Sonic's the name, and speed's my game.

Heh I've got a few tricks of my own. *He pulls out a vial of wind dust and offers it to Sonic* And I'm just friends with Em is all. That and I love weapons so it's part hobby honestly. Still I'm always game for a challenge!

*After the handshake, she smiles.*

Well, the Doc was kind enough to teach me about robotics...but it isn't hard to tell he's got a few screws loose.

*She smirks.*

I didn't believe for a second that he was innocent and you were evil. But if you're going to be fighting Tatsu, be careful, his new weapon is extra pointy!

*Kalib snaps and the invisible armor shatters and fades into sparkling dust.*

*Ghost Akihiko floats down from the ceiling*

Yeah I might not use it. Kinda isn't suited for anything but maiming in hindsight. *He points to a large sword with a chainsaw for a blade*

Nobody said protein Aki. You're just projecting your wants onto others. However...

*She hops over the counter with ease and tosses Aki a bottle of ectoprotein with a smile.*

....that doesn't mean you can't have some!

Thanks. Guess we'll see what this stuff can do. If it's anything like extreme gear I'm going to have some fun.

*He inserts the Dust into his shoes and starts stretching.*

Whenever you're ready, let's do this.

Good to know the people here aren't going to fall for his tricks. If you see him up to something don't hesitate to stop it before it starts. He's nearly taken over the world more times than I'd like to admit. At least the one I'm used to has anyway.

Trust me....I've got an EYE on him Sonic! I...you know what it's funnier if you know what I mean, but I'll just not tell you because secrets.

*She sighs.*

*he sets the chainblade down then draws his longsword*

Using a slow weapon against you seems fool Hardy at best.


*he smirks and a giant made of Light forms behind him waving it's hands as a dark light covers Sonic slowing him a bit*

That should help a bit makes people slower weaker and easier to hurt! Granted not hugely but still.

*He speaks as rushes over to Sonic and tries to slash at him with his sword*

*Curling into a ball and spinning in place, Sonic rockets forward and circles Tatsuya while keeping his distance to remain out of sword range.*

Heat Riser! *He closes his eyes as Hyperion covers him with a light that enhances his own speed and strength then tries to move towards Sonic while spinning his blade in a circle to slam into the ball*

*Suddenly jumping into the air while still curled into a ball and suddenly launches towards Tatsuya. Before reaching his sword he uncurls and slams right foot into it with a modified homing attack, before flipping backwards and landing on his feet.*

I feel slower and you've gotten faster. Nice way to even the odds, although not by much.

*He gives Tatsuya a cocky grin before revving his feet up for a super peel out.*

*he grips his sword tightly and winces a bit at the impact* Well that was slightly painful.

Hmm I guess I have got one trick... But that's a little cheep even for me.

*He pulls his left hand off his sword and draws a hand cannon from his hip to take a couple shots at Sonic*



*At the same time Hyperion blurs into Apollo and sends a huge wave of flames about 50 feet around the arena* I clearly can't match that speed even with magic so I'll hit everything.

*Kalib dismisses the wave of fire as it hits him.*

There we go, now my hand doesn't hurt anymore!

*Kalib grins as he tries to keep up with the fight.*

*Sonic's cocky grin doesn't leave his face as he releases the super peel out and rockets forward but... he's running into the air. Avoiding the bullets he increases his speed even more as he runs in circles creating a small tornado for the flames to wrap around. Avoiding most, but not all of the damage the fire would have otherwise inflicted on him Sonic sends the tornado at Tatsuya.*

Man this Wind Dust is something else. Now that's what I call Sonic Wind.

*Sonic circles around the tornado, hoping to catch Tatsuya off guard and hit him with a falling kick from the sky.*

*He raises his blade up to and turns to the tornado to guard as he can't see a thing beyond it* *Apollo blurs into Sarsvati and summons up a few spikes of Earth around Tatsuya* Might as well try to prepare.
Sonic_The_Hedgehog
*Noticing the spikes of earth rising from the ground Sonic quickly changes his approach and suddenly drops to the ground with a stomp. Weaving through them on foot, he curls into a ball and crashes through the spike closest to Tatsuya and uncurls in front of him. He appears to be charging straight at Tatsuya but then slides past his left side with a feint to leap into the air and homing attack Tatsuya's back.*

*Kalib blinks as he tries to keep up with the action.*

Jesus....what speed!

*He twists around and blocks the homing attack in a blur as Sarsvati focuses on them and the spikes of Earth shoot out towards Sonic*

You're pretty crafty I'll admit. But I've been at this a while these feints aren't to tough to spot.

*Jumping backwards away from Tatsuya, he uses the momentum to dodge a few of the spikes before once more stomping to the ground. He runs towards the remaining spikes and slides under some, spins through others and leaps onto the last one, balancing on the point.*

Guess I won't need to hold back then.

*He slides off of the spike and takes a stance similar to a track runners.*

*With a speed he hasn't used before in the fight, he zips past Tatsuya and then suddenly rams into him from the left side before zooming past.*

(Most of Sonic's attacks would probably do light to medium tiered damage since he's got so much speed. It's a bit unfair if I can just dodge around all fight and hit you hard a couple of times to end it.)

(Yeah that sounds about right. He's not the strongest thing alive after all)

Alright then let's try something else. *He puts his sword and hand cannon away then draws the machine gun from his back and sprays bullets towards Sonic*

*Apollo replaces Sarsvati and a bright whip of flames Appears in his hands as he flails it around and through Tatsuya in attempt to burn Sonic if he approaches* Good thing I can't get hurt by my own fire!

*Sonic suddenly stops at looks at the sky.*

Is it that late already? Sorry Tatsuya, but I've got to cut this date short. I'll see you around.

*He sighs before racing off.*

(It's pretty late where i am and my parents are forcing me to go to sleep. I had to sneak on my phone to send this message. Hope we can fight again sometime.)

*Kalib holds onto his glasses as the wind whips past him.*

Whoa~! You two were amazing! Way to go Tatsu!

*The girl smiles wide as she adjusts her glasses.*

(Same man trying to work around that speed is gonna be fun! And yeah it's 4:20AM here. I'm just beyond crazy so eh)

*He waves and shouts* I'll be looking forward to the conclusion of that one!

It's funny, this reminds me of when I first met Duma...we couldn't fight then and there, even though we both wanted to.

*She reaches up to the sky and closes her hand into a fist.*

But the fight was definitely worth it when we got around to it!

*he appears lost in thought* Hmm that was definitely a good fight, now how can I possibly get around him?

*Kalib thinks for a moment.*

You wouldn't happen to have ice, would ya?

I can use ice Dust with my the Saw's gun mode. Think that'd do it?

*Kalib walks to the center of the field.*

*He grins and stares at the ground* I see where you're going yeah. Hmm I need to, actually Dagda might be okay here? He's weak to all magic and my only source of water so I hardly touch it.

Well then. Let's give it a whirl~! Sonic seems to only use wind based attacks and physical attacks, so Dagda might be the best bet. So whenever you're ready, let's turn this place into a rink~!

*Kalib uses a Sukukaja Gem and gets into a runner's position.*

I won't be as fast as Sonic, but be creative~!

Come forth Dagda! *The Persona appears and a rush of water flows forth around Kalib as Tatsu runs for his chainblade and loads an ice mag in then begins freezing the water*

Alright~! That's the spirit~!

*As Kalib is surrounded by the rapidly freezing water, she smirks and crushes a Garu Gem. Seemingly encased by the ice, there is no sound. However, after a moment, the girl is launched out of the ice in a whirlwind. A smile painted on her lips as a drop of blood falls from her nose.*

*Still in the air.* Alright Tatsu! I'm going to emulate his air running, keep going~!

*Kalib channels the winds to her shoes and they grow a pair of green wings. Kalib then begins dashing through the sky, trying to get behind Tatsu and deliver a kick to his dominant arm.*

*He switches to Satan and continues firing on her without doing anything to indicate the change*

*Kalib focuses and continues barreling down towards him avoiding most of the shots, some of them however slow him down and deal some damage.*

There are some days where I wish Leo was just not weak to ice....I like the cold....

*She smirks as she gets in close.*

I'm pretty sure I stole this name, but...DYNAMITE KICK~!

*Kalib twists her body and attempts to land a hefty strike to Tatsu's arm.*

*He laughs madly as the kick slams into his arm... And is reflected back into Kalib* Don't give me so much lead up time Kalib Satan was beyond perfect here. *He switches back to Apollo*

*The smile quickly turns to a frown as her leg gets a lot of blowback. She falls backwards and the wings on her shoes disappear.*

*She looks up at Tatsu and smiles.*

So this should in theory be enough to get an edge on Sonic!

Indeed it should... I hate resorting to Satan but eh screw it. Anyways I should head home now, huh wonder if she's up.

*She steps back, feigning shock.*

*Em begins repairing the front door.*

*He finished with the door and looks at Kalib.*

Alright, let's get this show on the road!

*Kalib crushes the orb of darkness and suddenly a short sword appears in his grasp.*

Well, if that's how you're playing...

*Em puts the hand with the orb of light out to the side, and it forms into a spear.*

Let's roll!

*Em rushes towards Kalib straight on, two-handing the spear. Once he gets close, he stabs the spear into the ground infront of himself, and swings around it, kicking Kalib.*

*Kalib catches on to Em's plan in time to block with the sword but is pushed back by the force.*

Tch. Clever~! Take this!

*Kalib gets back her balance and launches a flurry of strikes at Em's chest, the blade catching on fire as the strikes go on.*

*Em returns the light from the spear back into a ball after kicking Kalib, and spreads it out into a wall of hard light, which shatters after taking Kalib's attack.*

Nice, nice... Very nice, Kalib-chan!

*Em forms 2 daggers of light into both of his hands, and attacks Kalib directly across his torso with the one in his left hand, while going for a low stab with his right one.*

*Kalib forms the sword into a buckler on her right arm. Easily blocking the lower stab but taking the slash head on. She reels from the attack, smirking.*

Ugh....Kalib-chan just doesn't sound right.

*She turns the buckler into a ball of darkness, tossing it at Em and morphing it into a dagger.*

*Em fuses the two Daggers into a plate and blocks the dagger with it, shattering both.
He forms small balls of light in his hands, and begins blasting them at high speeds towards Kalib. They do very little damage, but there's lots of them.*

*Kalib takes a defensive stance and tanks the hits, each one pushing her further and further back. She is brought to a knee.*

That's pretty good.

*She smirks as she stands back up. Fire growing in her hands, she begins moulding the flame into a pair of hand guns, letting loose a fiery rain of bullets.*

*Em quickly makes a wall of light, but some of his body is left uncovered, leaving him scorched in some areas.*

Oh, you wanna play the copycat game? I'll play the copycat game...

*Em begins to summons a multitude of spears behind himself, growing by the second. He puts his hand towards Kalib.*

Spartan Rain: Lights of Heaven! Go!

*Every spear begins to go towards Kalib at once, shining brightly, and blocking his vision. Once they hit him or anything he makes, however, they simply pass through, doing absolutely nothing.
When Kalib looks back to where Em was, he's gone.*

OOC: Replace him with her fuck this week.

*Kalib looks up and whistles in awe.*

Well I guess that's game, set and match~!

*She smirks as she puts up a wall of darkness and to her surprise they all pass through like thare was nothing there. Suddenly her eyes grow wide.*

Wait what? Where'd you go?!

*Balls of light begin to pop up all around the room, and 6 of them appear in one spot away from the others.*

*Kalib looks around in a panic.*

What the heck?! This is so cool!

*Kalib puts up her guard in preparation.*

*Where ever Kalib is standing, and light begins to draw closer to him on all sides, before suddenly rushing directly at him. Before hitting him though, they go around him, and behind Kalib, Em is standing with his fists covered in Light, and 6 other fists of Light around him.*

*Kalib turns and grins as she blocks the first few blows prior to her guard breaking. The rush blows her far back as she stumbles to a halt.*

Oof....well that's that game over for sure!

*She sits up laughing.*

I've never thought about giving my attacks that much extra flare! Points for creativity Em!

I trained for this all day yesterday. If you weren't weak to Light, I'd probably have a much rougher time pulling that off. I put a lot of energy into that last part...

*He sits up and looks at Ghaki.*

*Em goes over to the fridge inside and brings Aki a bottle of green goo.*

*Aki consumes the content in the bottle without even looking*
I need all the protein in the world....otherwise I will never be complete...
*A dark aura surround Aki's spectral image*

*She quickly runs to the counter and gets him so Ectoprotein.*

*Em summons Saul and scans Ghaki.*

*Em creates a sword of light in his right hand, and a shield of light in his left.*

We might have to defend outselves...

*The shadowy aura fades as Aki takes a monstrous form*
I will consume all protein!
*Aki runs at Pancake Knight and attempt to punch them in the stomach*

*Pancake Knight takes the punch and staggers back a bit

Oof! Are we training!

*PK raids the fridge for a protein shake and drinks it before returning to Akihiko

Alright! Ive got my protein and im ready to go!

Pancake, this isn't training! Something's wrong with Aki!

*Em throws the shield at Ghaki, and before striking he turns it into an Axe, then fades away after hitting.*

*The axe strike ghost Aki's head causing him to stagger back*

*Ghost Aki punches the ground causing it to shake*

*PK then walks up to Akihiko in boxing stance and does a right uppercut

*Em struggles to stand up for a second, but regains his footing.
He turns his remaining Sword into a Bow, and begins to shoot Arrows of Light at Ghaki.*

*Ghost Aki's arm grows in size before striking at Pancake Knight's ribs*

No Em! I got nothing! But here everyone! SPARTAN ROAR!

*Leonidas appears with a shout and boosts the allied party's ATK/DEF/SPD.*

*PK takes the hit and doubles over before getting back up

Heh! Thats the Akihiko I know! Dont let anyone hold you down!

*PK then swings at Akihiko with a right hook

*Em strikes at Ghaki with the Light Greatsword, then follows up with a kick.*

*Ghost Aki takes the hit, they don't even seem intent on dodging*

*Em creates balls of light around himself and readies for combat.*

*Em begins the fight by throwing a sharp disc of light at both PK and Tatsu, then creating himself a large shield and a lance with his remaining balls of light around himself.*

*PK fuses Syrup and Pancake into waffles and casts heat riser on himself before charging at Emerson

This will be our rematch!

*Pancake then takes his laser blade out and swings it switching it to gravity as it hits to add a sudden oomph.

*PK takes the light shot dealing damage to him but he still has tons of stamina left

*Leonidas emerges as Kalib falls asleep. The spartan notices the disadvantage and retrieves the trident that Duma gave Kalib. The spartan lets out a roar and tosses the trident behind Em, before slowly fading away.*

Nice try, but I've been training my ass off to get this magic manipulation right. You aren't gonna get past me, especially using Dust!

*Em uses his light shield to deflect the sword, then immediately stabs with his spear in Pancake's chest region.
Afterwards, he returns the spear to 2 balls of light, and catches Duma's Lance.*

*Tatsuya simply walks through the light blast as it splashes against him harmlessly* Apollo still nulls light! *He revs his blade up and dashes for them swinging it in a wide arc to try and hit Em and PK*

*Pancake summons a wall between him and Tatsuya reflecting the chainsaw before doing a backflip with his increased agility and fires a crossbow shot at Emerson

Tatsuya is going to be allot more dangerous close range!

*Em moves the shield of light to block Tatsu's attack, then strikes down the crossbow bolt with the Trident before backing away from Tatsu.*

Hey, Pancake, I think we know who the biggest threat is here. Neither of us can beat Tatsu on our own, so I suggest a temporary truce until he's down.

*He stumbles back as his blow is slammed into him* Tch not bad kid! Come on then time ta quit screwing around! *he draws his evoker and blasts it into his head as Hyperion and Apollo burst forth* Yeah I can use two at once!

*Apollo forms a whip of flames in his hands and lashes it towards Pancake and Waffles*

*Hyperion forms a blade made of Sunlight and tries to slam it into Em from the front as Tatsu follows suit and tries to rush around him then slash Em's back*

*Waffles casts a blueish wall against Apollo before PK pulls out his sword and slashes at it with Ice Dust, to try to disable the persona

*Em returns all of his light object back into orbs, and creates a dome of hard light around himself, which blocks Tatsu's attack, but shatters from Hyperions, returning to balls of light around him.*

Sure, you can, but it's pretty strenuous, right? Yu couldn't even handle it for too long, even if one was from a Superbia card!

*Em tries to hit Tatsu in the head region with Duma's Lance before backing off, using object of hard light to propell himself away with him legs.*

*Apollo tries to dodge back but the blade scrapes against him and he starts to shimmer... Before roaring as flames burst forth around his fists as he rushes PK in a flurry of punches. Tatsuya winces as he feels the feedback*

True Em two Personas is harder! And two means I can get hurt even more by the feedback. But these aren't something from pride or some crap they're my other selves! *He smirks* Don't think I can't handle them better than Yu did!

*Hyperion waves his hands at Em and a dark light covers him. Tatsuya takes his left hand off his blade and his hand cannon appears in it before he fires off a few couple darkness rounds at Em*

*PK takes the brunt of the damage as he slashes dozens of times into Apollo, he then backs up, switches to Pancake Dust and eats it, making his laser sword out of commission as it recharges

Alright! Waffles! Let's give em some Breakfast!

*Waffles casts Thunder reign on PK before defusing into twin Breakfast swords, PK takes the swords and uses the charged up electricity to electrify them

*Em can feel himself become weaker as he takes Debilitate from Tatsu.*

*Em creates a wall of hard light to block the darkness fired at him before summoning Saul and using Dekunda on himself.*
