Fate of the Goddess of Lies: A Different Time Part 1
*The clock tower stands tall as usual as the numbers slowly tick down on the clock. The clocks hand is about to reach twelve.*

OOC: This will be a dungeon in which different points of time within the persona universe will be reached, as such certain events from different games might be spoiled so join at your own risk. The last part will be the most spoiler free for this dungeon as it will cover events from most recent Persona games. That being said the plan for this part is two boss fights that will be GMed using almost a purely narrative format aside from keeping track of the bosses health.

*Walks in hands in his pockets* Hey guys what's happening here?

*The clock reaches twelve and an ear piercing bell echoes throughout Shibuya.*

"It seems the time has finally come..."

The clock is about to reach 12, it makes me nervous.

You..... *glares at the clock* OPEN UP, IT'S TIME FOR A BEAT DOWN!

... *he looks over to Mig* Calm down, getting this worked up won't do anyone any good Migrant.

"You all...Are you so determined to change fate? Perhaps...there is a way. I am not blind to the fact that fate can in fact change but to do so requires a great amount of power. Can you provide this power?"

*He stares up the clock* Tch of course we can, it's already something we've done before. *He gazes at it as flames dance in his eyes* I'm not going to just let things play out Chronos, and if you think we're gonna fail well. *He chuckles* You wouldn't be the first God I prove wrong.

"Very well...I propose a test then, show me if you can change these twisted fates and I shall grant you a chance to save the goddess of lies."

*A door appears on the clock tower and opens.*

"However, know that if you fail, there will be no saving her anymore."

*A sliver gun forms in his right hand as he walks through the door* Fine then, we'll play this little game.
Tatsuya
*He glances to Mig in Surprise* Wait what do you mean at least once more? *His grip on the gun tightens* You thinking of giving up?

*Inside the tower is a dimly lit room surrounded by clockwork. A faint ticking noise can be heard in the room and on one wall 5 doors labeled 1-5 reside and the other side is a larger door with 5 small lights attached to it. The lights are all shining brightly in a different color.*

*He looks around the room* Hmm so looks like we gotta go in all the doors and fight something for each one. *He sighs and rolls his eyes* Jeez feels like the end of a Megaman game.

I have a feeling I know what's going on here... I suppose 5 is a good place to start.

*The party enters door 1 as the air begins to become colder and the walls begin to become icy and cold. You're lost in what looks like a school with distorted whispers being heard from all around.*

*He sighs and looks around*
I'm not sure if you did Mig, but I know I had highschool days. They were pretty lame. *He attempts to hear the whispers*

*The whispers sound like those of children but they're too faint to be heard. Ahead lies a door with a dark energy emanating from it.*

Uh shot in the dark here but, something tells me we have to go through that door. *Hibki gets his phone out in one hand and his dragon stream sword in the other*

Wow a door full of dark energy? Wonder what's in there. *He walks over to it and goes in once the rest are ready*

Well this feels bossish to me. We all ready?

*He looks utterly deadpan* No I'm terrified of going in there, not a chance I'm ready.

What's the chance this is stronger than the other gods we've faced so far? We can do this! *Hibki follows in when the party is ready*

I hope it's weaker. There's just us three of us... And the last gods have a penchant for murder...

*The party enters the room as the air grows colder. Within the room is a group of high schoolers fighting against a 3 headed statue. Most of them have been rendered unconscious aside from a boy with black hair and earrings.*

*The boy looks over to the party.*

Boy with Earrings: What are you all doing here! You need to leave right now!

Not a chance! *Hibki casts a Recarm on one of the passed out kids.* What is this thing?
Tatsuya
Holy crap you!? *Lakshmi bursts forth and casts Samarecarm the other people* Relax pal we can handle ourselves! Besides I kinda know you anyways... *He smirks* Well not you but still.
Migrant
You sound like someone else I know, just less of a jerk. Sorry, can't run, have to save at least one person at this point.

So what's the problem here?

???: School is canceled...forever!

*A torrent of ice comes out from the center head and freezes the revived kids.*

Boy with Earrings: You'll pay for that Asura Queen!

*The Asura Queen spits out a torrent of ice from its center head at the party to deal heavy ice based damage.*

*Party Turn*

Well then, I guess we have to help you! *Hibki sends an Agidyne at the now named Asura Queen*
Migrant
Well then... Guess we know how to wreck now.

Let's go, Fortuna!

*the casino-dressed Persona appears beind Migrant*

Psiodyne!

*Fortuna spins the wheel in her hands until it slows to a stop over a multicolored swirl as a similar swirl converges upon the enemy*

Boy with Earrings: I hope you all can fight. This thing won't go down easy.

Amon-Ra!

*A Persona with the appearance of an Egyptian pharaoh appears behind the boy.*

*The ice is blocked from hitting him by the Persona, reducing the damage.*

Alright! Amon-Ra! Give me your strength!

*The boy rushes forward sword in hand to slash at the Asura Queen.*

Tch you don't look too tough at least. *He recoils as the ice smashes into him* on second thought maybe I was wrong. Good thing I'm using Lucifer now.

*His gun vanishes as he leaps up into the air and then kicks off the wall behind him drawing his chainblade and attempting to drive it's spinning teeth into the center head*

*Hibki sends an Agidyne at the Asura Queen but it only deals minimal damage.*

*The psychic energy converges on the Asura Queen but fails to leave any real mark.*

*Naoya strikes at the Asura queen with his sword causing it to scream out in pain before Tatsu jumps at its center head with his blade causing spark to fall from its head.*

Asura Queen HP: 86%

*The right head begins facing the party as a strange light glows from its eyes aimed at Migrant. A sickly stream of energy surrounds them trying to inflict them with sick.*

*Party Turn*
Migrant
*gets afflicted with a strange new ailment.... *

Ugh... I don't feel... Good...

Okuninushi... Kouga.

*a Persona switch, and an orb of light aimed at the Queen. Moderate damage, but Mig is somewhat looking for a weakness or blind here. *

Ugh, I don't feel so good. *Hibki starts dancing using a Holy Dance. After attacking he feels even worse somehow.*

*suddenly appears* hey guys, I heard there was a battle going on. Need some help?
HibkiKuze
OOC: whoops ignore the sick comments, I thought it was shot at everyone. My bad, that's why I don't read without glasses
Tatsuya
*Lucifer surges forth and flies up then grabs hold of the center head trying to smash it into the right while digging his claws in as Tatsu continues Hacking away from the ground*

*Migrant shoots the ball of light forth at Asura Queen but it quickly dissipates upon approach.*

*HIbki uses Holy Dance on the Asura Queen dealing moderate Almighty damage 3 times.*

*Tatsuya has Lucifer try to grab hold of the center head but it vanishes as they try to do so. Tatsuya continues slashing at the Asura Queen but it seems to be less effective than before.*

Asura Queen HP: 72%

*The Asura queen screams in outrage as the left head begins facing the party and the right head returns to its neutral position.*

*The eyes of the left head glow yellow as voices begin to emanate from all around the room trying to fill the party with guilt.*

*Party Turn*

*Naoya tries to ignore the voices.*

Naoya: Amon-Ra! This is the chance we've been waiting for!

Agidyne!

*Amon-Ra begins holding a sphere of flames in his hand before passing it to Naoya.*

Take this you monster! These are the flames of my soul!

*Naoya rushes up to the Asura queen before throwing the sphere of flames at it.*

... seriously, can I fight with you guys? I'm bored, and I need a break from building.

Star! Start fighting this thing. *Hibki manages to ignore the voices and casts a Drain aiming for the middle head trying to get some SP back*
Starwaddle
Okay! I've got some approval! Time to kill or something! *Summons her huge chainsword, but something's different about it. When did it have a tank of ink on it?* Time to test out another new toy! *She revs up the chainsword, and the ink coats the chain. She jumps over to the Asura Queen and slashes at her sideways before jumping back*
Migrant
*gets distracted by the voices, a growing sense of guilt over everything this week... *

Maybe... Maybe Gamma wad right... Maybe I'm not cut out for this....

*turn lost*

*He shrugs off the voices for now*
My mind is
Hey Naoya I think I can help with that! Now then let's roast this thing together!
*Lucifer changes into Apollo and throws his own blast of flames towards the beast mixing with Naoya's into a large pillar of fire* Blazing Burst!

*Hibki casts drain dealing medium almighty and draining hp and sp.*

*Star slashes at the Asura Queen, although it seems to have done a very small amount of damage.*

*Migrant is overcome with guilt.*

*Naoya sends out a ball of flames as Tatsuya combines it with his own flames into Blazing Burst engulfing the Asura Queen in flames as it screams in pain.*

Asura Queen HP: 53%

*The right head begins looking at the party as the left head returns to its natural position.*

*The right head glares at Tatsuya.*

Desanga...

*The eyes glow as Tatsuya loses control of his wild card abilities for 3 turns keeping him from switching from Apollo.*

*Party Turn*

Oh, oh! How about a combo fire attack!? I've got Blazing Hell!
Migrant
I... I could throw in some wind.

Naoya: W-what was that?

*Naoya continues staring at the Asura Queen.*

Naoya: Doesn't matter now. Let's take this thing down!

Amon-Ra! Now's the time!

*Amon-Ra begins glowing as symbols appear in his hands.*

It's time! I'll show you just how far I've come!

Hieroglyphein!

*Naoya focuses as the symbols begin flying towards the Asura Queen hitting it with a strange energy.*

Alright then! I'll help out! *Hibki dances sending more almighty beams at the Asura queen*
Migrant
Me too! Okuninushi!

*no switch, instead a massive whirlwind kicks up, threatening to blow the heads around or even into each other. *
Tatsuya
*He smirks at Naoya*
I can explain but yeah not the time.

*Apollo glares at it as a whip of Nuclear energy forms in his hands before he swings trying to lash it through all 3 heads*
How do ya like that trick!?

Okay! Time for a combo! Blazing Hell! *Casts Blazing Hell into the whirlwind, creating a tornado of hellfire.* Take this! Hellfire Tornado! *The tornado starts moving towards the heads*

*Naoya hits Asura Queen with a mysterious energy causing a massive amount of damage.*

*Hibki uses Holy Dance causing 3 moderates doses of almighty to be cast upon the Asura Queen.*

*Tatsuya has Apollo summon a nuclear whip to try to hit the three heads, however only one is hit while the whip phases through the other two.*

*Star and Mig create a fiery tornado that surrounds the Asura Queen, however, the Asura Queen doesn't scream in pain as before.*

Asura Queen HP: 13%

*The Asura Queen cries out in pain... suddenly a dark aura begins encircling them.*

Old Nyarly: Seems like I'll have to take this matter into my own hands. Asura Queen, unleash you're true power and let your hatred consume you...Unleash upon them your true name...Nyx, the embodiment of the night.

*The Asura Queen begins changing its form as wings sprout from the center head and it separates from the two statues as they crumble.*

Nyx: Finally, I've fully been freed...

Nyx HP: 60%

*A torrent of ice and snows blows forth at the party as Nyx flaps its newly formed wings.*

*Party Turn.*

"You're true test has begins now. Show me how well you can strike against a twisted fate."

*Hibki quickly aims another Drain at Nyx*

Naoya: I don't care what you claim to be. I won't let you hurt any more people!

Amon-Ra!

*Naoya's sword sets ablaze.*

Let's finish this all for good!

*Naoya rushes up and jumps at Nyx attempting to slice at their wings with the flame imbued sword.*

Tch so this is the famed Nyx huh? Well this shouldn't be too bad.

*He raises his blade up to block the ice but still takes heavy damage and shivers* I've felt worse, but this is bad.

An hell no she's not hurting anyone!

*Apollo darts over to her as his right fist glows with flame before delivering a steel shattering punch into one of her wings. As Tatsuya sheathes blade and then rushes around to her back before blasting away at the other wing with a few shots from his Revolver*

*star ignores the cold thanks to her hoodie* Time for some real damage! *Sets the ink on fire, causing the chainsword to look FUCKING AWESOME! Star does an epic pose before rushing Nyx and doing a rapid ten-hit combo, with the last hit doing the most damage, before jumping back*

*Hibki uses drain on Nyx causing them to take moderate damage while Hibki regains HP and SP*

*Naoya slashes at one wing with a fiery cut while Apollo punches the other with a fiery fist.*

*Tatsuya rushes behind Nyx to deliver a few shots with his revolver causing Nyx to fall to the ground.*

*Star goes up and slashes at the fallen Nyx with a fiery sword.*

Nyx's HP: 27%

Nyx: Defeated here...No, I won't be beaten! The eternal night must be brought forth!

*More ice and snows flow from the statue head lying on the ground covering the room in thick sheets of ice.*

*Party Turn*

Naoya: Time to finish it off right.

*Naoya pushes against the ice.*

Naoya: Hey, what about one of those fusion spells. That'd be enough right?
Tatsuya
*Tatsuya nods at him* Yeah it would, hmm what to do though? What all elements ya got there?
Clockwork_God
Naoya: Fire, electric and well...I'm not sure what it is, but it's usually effective against the bigger monsters.
Starwaddle
*the chainsword melts most of the ice before it hits her, and the hoodie blocks the rest* time to put this to an end! *Pulls a red bull out of one of her pockets and drinks it all down before throwing it away* ahh...now, taste my flaming steel and whatever other metals are in thi-oh, we doing another combo move? I've got whatever you need as long as it isn't light or dark.

Well, guess we should use the weird one seemed ta work on it's last form. Now then since I have no clue how that spell works let's just mix in Almighty an pray! *Apollo blurs into Lucifer and summons forth spears of glowing energy that hover behind him ready to join the spell*

Naoya: Alright! I'm putting everything into this one!

Amon-Ra!

Hieroglyphein!

*The symbols begins floating in the air as the surround Nyx.*

It's time to end this!

**The symbols glow brighter as they wait for the added power to be mixed in.*

Okay! Full almighty! Megidolaon! *Charges her brand of Megidolaon into the symbols*

*The spears fly into the symbols and glyphs seem to appear on them as the glow of both brightens* Alright that's me!

OOC: Oh, well. Let's wrap this up.

*The glyphs shin brighter as they surround Nyx and begins ingraining into them. The spears are the final touch as they accelerate into Nyx and they begin to melt into black sludge.*

Nyx: This wans't...fate was supposed to be on my side..I..I..

*Nyx crumbles into nothing as the ice on the walls begins to melt and light streams in from the windows.*

Naoya: What about my friends, though?

*Naoya runs back to his friends as they have begun to thaw from their icey prisons.*

*Lucifer appears in front of him and raises it arms to block* I'm serious guys, really don't want to hurt ya.

We can settle our differences later, let's start with killing an archangel.

No, we punch the archangel, eat the swing set, ride a hoverboard, and eat licorice!

*The fog get's thicker...*

???: It seems a truly remarkable event is taking place here. This place where humanities desires will come to fruition.

*Angel Joker pushes Lucifer off and moves up to Y. Tatsuya pulling out a blade of light as he slashes at him with it.*

*Lucifer attempts to tear the Angel's arms from their sockets by pulling at them in opposite directions with all his strength. As Tatsuya continues firing*

Fuck it, I'm burning this guy. *Pushes a button, and the ink shooting out of the Gatling gun is lit on fire, effectively turning it into a flame thrower. Star shoots Joker with her flaming ink, setting the ink on him on fire* this is why I named this chainsword "El Burninator!"
