I found something worth fighting for.
First it was Yuki, and then my friends, and of course once Yuki came back my family. Once you find that motivation to protect something or rather someone, no programming can ever overwrite it.

I know how that feels... I use to have that urge all the time whenever I saw a shadow, or something remotely like one. I've gotten rid of that urge though, and I'm sure you can as well. Peace will come once you do, and then maybe you can settle down and start a family... Maria is proof enough that you do at some point.

I was hoping I'd find out more...

I don't know if it's possible for me to get rid of this urge.... every time I resolve to be better for Maria, it seems like that urge just comes back stronger...

Perhaps you can find someone who can help you look deep into yourself and find why you have those urges, unfortunately I can only offer advice. I highly recommend you fight it though, don't give in, otherwise you may destroy the very thing you want to protect.

That... Seems to be a bit much... I'm not saying that it won't work, but maybe it should be a last resort. Go through your other options first before attempting that.

Perhaps if you manage to find the source of whatever it is that programmed that urge into you, maybe you can ask it to remove it.... Although that's not very likely.

A strong urge of love possibly, or maybe a sudden feeling that you may die because of that urge. Either may overwrite it... Although I feel like I know of something else that could possibly be a help.
