I was bored and looking for new JRPGs to play, so I found P4.

NicoB's P4 golden LP made me get the PS2 version of P4. SMT in general was Devil Survivor Overclocked on the 3DS, simply because it was made by people as persona.

One of my favorite streamers, CareLevelZero, has been playing Persona games for a while. Usually I would get really bored and do something else, but P5 was fun to watch as well as play so well.... Color me interested.

I was watching a lets play of persona 4 and wanted to get into the series... but didnt have any playstation consoles until recently.

I watched a let's play from a Youtuber named KubzScouts on a little of P4 and P5. I only played P5 because I was looking into the PlayStaion store on my PS3 and there it was, P5. Plus, I got tired of COD so I needed something new to play.

I mean for smt I saw Iv at the store and picked it up since I lacked decent 3ds games

HA! Ok ok this is a really funny story. Oh god this is great here we go.

So here's the story. So I was at home, right, and get this. I turned on my PS4. Ok ok that's pretty normal, but oh my god it gets better. Ok so I turned it on and was like "You know, there's that new Persona game, right? I hear it's good, so I should check it out." Alright so here's where is gets HILARIOUS. Ok so get this. I go into the Playstation store and I look up Persona 5. And then... are you ready? I watched the trailer! I know! Oh my god it was great! I liked the trailer, and I had the money, so I bought the game. And then, I waiting for my game to download. Ok so after it finished, I played, and it was really good, so then I found this place, and learned and emulate games, so now I'm playing 4 Personas at the same time please help.

And that's the story. Oh god I cry laughing everytime I think of it. Oh that's a story Ill tell my kids and they'll tell their kids, and we're just gonna laugh about for the coming generations, hoo boy what a story!

Was binge watching Game Theory for the billionth time and came upon the LGBT and video games episode and the like that caught my attention was something along the lines of "… and you may say there are games like Persona or Persona, but the majority paint the LGBT community negatively..." so that introduced me to it, but I never played my PS2 and I left it until I found out there was a Persona 5 game and waited for that. Then I missed the day it came out by like three months and now here we are.

Was on the PSN, Persona 3 FES was on sale. Never heard of it, bought it for the fuck of it.

That's it really.
Enjoyed it, and from there started branching out.

So this is probably the strangest reason?

So one day on steam I saw a friend posting screenshots from a game they were playing. I was like "Hey that looks cool" and tried to see what it was.

And then they got banned hard.

Then I randomly found the Naka playthrough of persona 4 and it all linked together.

I then proceeded to not buy or play it for like 3 years until I bought P4G.

A friend of mine at a school assembly was playing P4 golden, he showed me the game then from there I looked it up, found a YouTube channel called Johneawesome, and watched his entire P4 Golden and P3 playthrough before buying P4 for PS2. Then he started DS2 Record breaker, so I got the devil survivor games and SMT IV. I got Apocalypse around Christmas time but my 3DS broke before I could even try it.

Some poor shmuck traded in digital devil saga and I bought it because it looked cool as heck. Didn't know anything of atlus or their games beforehand.

This guy I used to speak to a lot was a big fan of games and he was talking about SuperJeenius and his P4G playthrough, and mentioned the animation and Trinity Soul and that was it, I was gone.

I was looking in the Nintendo eShop for new RPGs because I really like Fire Emblem and I stumbled upon Devil Survivor 2. I got the game for Christmas and was immediately hooked. So I looked for the other games in the series (which, there like, 50 or more fucking games in the whole entire MegaTen series I'm pretty sure) and my life was never the same.

Persona 4 golden was on sale and I had some extra cash so I got it. Now I'm too far gone to be helped.

Strange story actually, I was at my cousins for a day, are they are quite a bit older than me, by perhaps 8 years or so? At this time I was around 10-12? And they recommended me P3 FES, and I played it all day, he then let me borrow a PSP for P3P, and I just binged the game for a week straight, I dont know what I was thinking about the evokers.

I had read a lot of positive reviews for P4G, and saw few episodes of SuperJeenius' LP.

I traded my Dragon's Crown copy for P4G and that's what got me into Persona/SMT hole.

There was a buy-out game for teachers vs graduates back in high school.

My buddy had P4G and was playing it all the while. I watched and fell in love. It helped that the devil himself was doing Sexy Dance. I couldn't contain ny laughter!

I just bought p4 in my local game shop. It looked nifty and I was in need of an rpg.

Had a friend who was gushing about 5, so when I went to a store for something irrelevant and saw it, I said eff it and bought it. Best 60 dollar purchase ever.

One of my friends (Boss, if anyone wants specifics) was showing my stuff from the P4 anime, like clips and whatnot. Eventually he got a Vita for Christmas with P4G and told me to play it. After a little bit of resistance, I ended up agreeing, cause I did the same thing with Undertale and ended up enjoying it. After I played and beat it, I became a fan of the Persona franchise, with P3 and P4G dominating my favorite games list.

One of my best friends in high school kept telling me to check SuperJeenius let's play of Persona 3 FES at first I was bored AF until the first full moon ended and over Christmas break I totaled 11 hours of persona let's play a day
I fell in love with the franchise watching that let's play
After watching the let's play I got a Vita and played P4G for hours on end that set up pretty much my "addiction" to the franchise as after that first play through i emulated the rest of the franchise since I was a poor freshman with no job at the time
For SMT I had heard about it multiple times and decided to give it a shot and I just like Persona the series is one of my favorites in gaming with Digital Devil Saga being my all time favorite
