At last I have reached the Nexus core. Many gave their lives to defend it. The same number gave their lives to end it. I am the one who must overload and wipe the system restoring it to a spatial gap once more. This tape is a memoir for my family to know that I died doing the right thing. Should this not be the end I shall now explain what process I used to carry out this grand deed. These crystals you see are gemstones made of pure cataclysmic energy. Whenever an immense amount of energy is released in a destructive state, the crystals are used as a means to diffuse the overload in the central core. These crystals when released in a high enough volume can completely erase this entire dimension! This of course has been done before; as when creating such a large vacuum in space and time, it gives suction to other realities forcing them to replace the boundary in the fabric of space and time. This allows other versions of oneself to occupy the gap, meaning I am likely not the last version of myself. I have dwelled too long, this hopefully is my last message, I apologize for what I have done to everyone, and thank those who helped me.

*Yu looks at the crystal he still has in his possesion.*

This crystal is capable of doing something like that?

So...

The man in this really was trying to destroy the Nexus but why?

He said he was trying to do the right thing but what exactly was he trying to accomplish by destroying everything?

Seems like this tape answers are previous questions but created twice as many new ones...

*Makoto is in awe*

So these crystals have that much power...thats insane. But, its grand as well. What we end up using it for though...will we use it? Though its too dangerous to try to do anything with it. If it can wipe out an entire dimension. Hmm...

*makoto is in a deep thought*

His intentions for all we know was to break a cycle...but what was this cycle? It clearly had a great impact on him to try and destroy the Nexus.

*Yu's expression shift as if he just recalled something.*

In the end...

He said something about other versions of himself.

The cycle...could it be some sort of repeating chain of events?

That's the only way I can make sense of that last statement about his "last self".

*Makoto looks up at Yu*

Yeah, You're onto something there, maybe this destruction of the nexus isn't to destroy...but reset? Maybe he tries to completely destroy it but fails in the end, causing it to reset?

*Yu looks down considering the facts that have presented themselves.*

So, maybe there have been past versions of us, too...

A never-ending cycle we're all trapped in.

Maybe this cycle should end...

*Yu looks up and back to Makoto.*

I suppose that could wait for later, though.

There's still plenty more that we don't fully understand yet.

*Rakoto nods*

Right, even if we wish to end this, we would need more of those crystals. That means we need to learn there location and then we would have to learn how to properly use them.

*Makoto looks at a wall*

But to think that there's copies of us out there...its strange.

*Yu looks a bit confused for a moment before regaining their composure.*

Is a copy of yourself really such a strange idea. Well, I guess I'm just used to it by now.

Anyway, tracking the crystals down should take priority first. If they really do have enough power to destroy reality then we need to make sure no one with I'll intent gets to them first.

Yeah. If these crystals get out who knows what would happen. I just wonder where they could be, and how many must we need to collect in order to trigger what that man did?

*She takes out her note book and writes down notes of what they have learned so far*

*Yu looks upon upon making a obvious relization.*

Oh, right. I don't think I ever got your name. I'm Yu Narukami, I lived in Tokyo before coming here. Though I've already been here for a few months now.

*She Smiles at Yu*

Nice to formally be of acquaintance. I am Makoto Niijima. I attend Shujin academy in Tokyo, and I am the Student Council president there.

*She stands up extending her one arm to Yu*

*Yu returns the smile to Makoto.*
