Really I don't think there are problems with the Nexus idea itself. Perhaps it's a little TOO abusable, but as long as people can be reasonable there's no real problem.

Well the nexus lures people to its core which is in LeBlanc right? How about instead of people from different world's being attracted to it, why not JUST a single world with its own rules and limits, but that would force some people to completely rewrite their OC's

Agreed with gamma, although i do think abusing it for casual comedic purposes is ok. But not just being a dick where people don't want it, like going onto thier threads and fucking it up

Pros: Gives the rp world a reason to exist, allows people to meet up and have fun despite space-time differences

Cons: Can be abused as an excuse for everything, including having knowledge of other worlds through games and whatnot

Possible, REASONABLE solutions: Ignore bs stuff, keep ooc knowledge to a reasonable level, move the setting from the Nexus to another place with a similar yet less exploitable concept, have the various "rp groups" intermingle more

To fix that we can add a power system that the nexus introduced to the world. Causing great wars over research of the nexus for greater powers achieved. Why not base it off of Nen from HunterXHunter

In that basis it allows for a still powerful system yet it will never NOT make sense

I believe a better way to do things would just to enact some laws of the nexus. Such as possibly. People only exist once throughout the entire nexus. That way they can't go reviving Anything. Or

Just don't go rewriting Anything, that would be heavily unfair on many people, a real dick decision

I like the concept of the Nexus, and for the most part it's done well enough, but I think we left it too vague and open in the beginning, which led to it being too abusable, and a lot of people just not being on the same page about it.

That's what i think k nexus, we just need to make some rules for how the nexus works so it's not as abusable

No matter what rules we make they won't work if people don't agree to them

I don't think laws are the way to go around it, most RPers know that once you kill a character they don't come back in more serious RP, besides I don't like having restrctions, it harps on fun

I don't think we need a long list of super strict rules, just some basic guidelines, so there are some things in place to prevent things from being unreasonable and abused, but still allow a lot of freedom

Well, for one, pking should definitely not be allowed. Players should get to decide when their characters die.

I'm still backing the nen power system idea, it might take some adapting but it leads to more interesting character development...

Letting the OP decide is certainly an option, though I'm afraid some people might take issue with it since the idea was originally to have all the RP in basically one universe

Guys, how about everyone gets over themselves and admits that not everyone has to agree to one set of rules, they don't all need to follow some lore, they can just be let to do what they want, not everything needs to control, this is why so many people have left, and will only cause more to do so

I think most people know that PKing is bad, it simply isnt fun
