It's either out of habit, an instinct to separate the two words, or because it's fun to do that to annoy you. The third option is admittedly amusing, although the second reason is probably the source of this.

Rip P1 and P2 protags. Never got in here. In theory, each one would be equal to each other. Not because of how their Personas are, but because they can essentially get the same Personas. In fact, all but their unique Personas are shared. However, if you only factor in Ultimates, that's a different story.
