The Dream We Shared
No matter how much they walk, the shadowy figure never seems to get closer, yet the light, whether it glows brighter or gets closer, it’s impossible to tell. Soon, the shadowy figure waves a hand, urging you onward before vanishing into the white glow itself
Those who follow still find that they too, end up covered in the light, turning their vision into pure white.
By the time they can see again, they appear to be in an old-fashioned, rundown village, a garbage fire burning untended in a nearby corner, with only an old cat stretching in its warmth.
There’s a well nearby, a broken one no less, it’s bucket having long since dropped into the abyss inside of it. Next to the well sits a man, his two eyes beads of white against a pure black backdrop
Man: New arrivals I take it? Hope you find the place to your liking, you’ll be seeing it a lot
The Dream We Shared
Those who leapt off the dock would find themselves falling... Falling.... It almost feels endless, yet the fall lasts only a few short seconds before they see the ground coming up fast beneath them. Looking around, one sees... A vague shadow, arched doorways supported by pillars, were the realm not covered in black it might have been a church, as it is the building could be anyone's guess. Off in the distance, one can see the top of a mountain, eternally burning, whether it is to be a volcano or not, is anyone's guess.
In front of the building is a group of 6 humanoids, white eyes darting amongst each other, their shadowy cloaks obscuring much of their forms from view, yet when the new dreamers land, the figure immediately leap to attention, turning towards them and muttering, the figures speak up,
from left to right
Figure 1: No cloak.
Figure 2:Not a member...
Figure 3:What is that?
Figure 4:I dunno...
Figure 5:Probably dangerous
Figure 6: Have we seen them before?
As for Naoya, the man shrugs, he tosses a small, shiny object into the air, possibly a coin, before shaking his head
Man: You should have anything you brought with you. Or if there's something you have that's important to you. Those usually carry over.
The Dream We Shared
The man looks back up at Alice, sighing and shaking his head
Man: I'm just another dreamer, like you. Most of us don't have names here. Only exceptions are a few with titles, like the Prophet, or the Two Pillars. Not that you'll ever meet them anyways.
And about that tree of yours, you can forget it. The Dream's your home now. Quaint, isn't it?
The man gestures to the decrepit buildings around him, the place seems almost entirely abandoned, at least for the moment, before he looks up to Naoya
Man: There's a smart one. This is a little bit of both, the Common Dream here's sort of a dream world where everyone's dreams can mix. Heard it was a nice place once, now its all one big madhouse. Course, this is only a small part of it. But its the part you're gonna be most familiar with. All dreamers end up here. Over and Over again.
The Dream We Shared
OOC: hope no one minds me speeding up the mook fight a bit
IC:Unfortunately for Deemo, the pain would feel very real, in fact, in some ways its more intense than might have been in reality. But of course, no one can die in a dream. Right? Regardless, 2 advances towards him, only to be caught of surprise by the flurry of notes, 2 attempts to swat them away, only for them to burst upon his hand again, with a pained cry, they fade away, like smoke in the wind
similarly, 5 opens his eyes wide, it almost looks like he's never fought before, perhaps he was overeager. Whatever it is, looks like it hardly matters now, they hardly have time to react before being crushed by Naoya's earth, fading away much as the other 5 had before him.
Galio manages to confirm the kill on 4 before Naoya's Megidolaon reaches him, and is promptly struck by a searing wave of almighty energy. That's gotta hurt
Quintus, on the other hand, uses this chance to sneak in the temple doors. Looking around, it is much as one might expect of a cathedral for the most part, perhaps a bit simpler than one might imagine. Leading into the sanctuary is one, long corridor, flanked by pillars. Every now and then one might imagine movement in the shadows, yet that only seems to be a figment of his imagination.
Finally, moving into the sanctuary itself, Quintus sees one wall painted with pentagrams, its difficult to tell exactly what they're made of, as it all appears a dark gray. The walls are lined with tall candelabra, casting a faint light over the entire room.
At the far end is an altar, above which another humanoid figure, this one much larger and with better clothing is suspended in chains by both hands. Below him is a cultist, much like the six before, slowly opening a book and tearing out individual pages, before throwing them into the wind. No matter how many he removes, the book never seems to get smaller
Finally, off to the altar's sides are two archways, much like the ones he entered into. From here Quintus could tell there's some kind of garden past it, though the lack of real color makes it difficult to tell flowers apart, what does it matter anyways?
(edited by Dreamer)

The Dream We Shared
The man sighs and looks up at Alice, poor kid, well, no reason to crush their hopes, at least, no more than is needed.
Man: There is one way, through the Fields of Limbo. Problem is only person who knows where that is is the First Dreamer, you probably saw him just before coming here. And he spends all his time there. So good luck asking him.
The man glances between the three new arrivals, oh well, he's going to be seeing them a lot, so may as well try to be cordial. At least it gives him a bit of a purpose
Man: I'll let the girl and that other kid explain the where, I just went over it with the others. As for normal, well, it'll become normal for you. Used to be quite a bit nicer, but its all sort of crumbled apart in these last few centuries. Used to be an actual town here. Now its me and a few people who just happen to wander in.
The man looks over to "Skitter" they look a little young, but not nearly so much as Alice, the man shrugs before pointing well behind him, to what seems to be a dock leading into nothingness
Man: If you really insist, there might be another way. Down that way's the Abyss, they say you can find anything there, anything you've lost anyways. Who knows, if you want it hard enough it might be able to show you to the Fields. Not that it matters. No one makes it to the Abyss anyways
The Dream We Shared
The figures watch Alice for a moment, strange child hiding behind... A large, shadowy man? Something about him almost seems familiar, the figures turn to talk amongst themselves
1: They don't seem to know anything
2: New arrival maybe?
3: Probably a dreamer
4: dreamers don't have names
5: Who cares? People only ever come here for one reason.
6: You mean the Abyss? Not like they'll ever make it there.
Seeing Galio and Naoya's weapons makes the fifth one more confident as he steps out in front of the others
5: Doesn't mean they won't wreck the whole place trying. Remember the Saint?
3: Who was he again?
6: Killed me eight times he did, I'll never forget that hat of his.
By now, the group would seem to ignore Skitter, with the fifth egging them all on. His confidence peaked, the fifth figure steps in front of the others and announces
5: Are we just going to stand here and let them defile Sataniel's shrine?
All: NO!!
With that cry, numbers 2, 4, 5, and 1 draw out a sickle-shaped blade, its white gleam a stark contrast against their entirely black forms. Meanwhile, 3 and 6 take a few steps back, bringing out some sort of long, dark sillhouette, it almost looks like part of a log.
5 and 2 seem to dissapate, their forms wavering and shifting before vanishing into thin air
The Dream We Shared
Naoya does some very flashy things. We'll get more on this in a moment, but for now, LENGTHY PERSONA SUMMONING SEQUENCE GO
4 doesn't seem very ready for combat, looking up to Galio and meeting his foot with the edge of their sickle. The sickle cuts well into Galio's foot, but doesn't stop the man from putting most of his weight on 4, pinning them to the ground in order to stab them further.
Alarmed, 3 wouldn't notice the wasps at first, instead leveling his log-like item at Galio, before pulling the trigger, seems the item is actually a shotgun, a flak of pellets firing at Galio from a few feet away before 3 finally takes note of the wasps, trying to swat them with his arm
1 blinks for a moment, before simply vanishing like 5 and 2 did, however, unlike them he immediately appears behind Skitter, somewhat satisfied with himself.
This is when Naoya's Megidolaon finally goes through, the blast is centered near 3 and 1, the ones with shotguns, and sends them flying. Of course, the blast would go far enough to reach the other two, 4 and 6, rapidly expanding and threatening to hit Skitter and Galio as it does.
Quintus decides to go around the fight, getting more of a look at the area. He checks one side of the building, only to find no entrance aside from the front, simply an endless expanse of temple covering the side. At least until the explosion occurs and sends 3 flying through the air in front of him, only to dissapate into a mist.
Deemo remains vigilant, checking all around him. Soon enough, 2 would form in the air behind Deemo, falling down and aiming to slash at him as he goes.
Similarly, 5 appears behind Naoya, though it seems he didn't take the same classes in stealth as 2 did, 5 shouts while he descends in an attempt to slice Naoya
5: For the prophets! Sataniel's will is against you, and none can escape her rage.
