It seems the young man had come just in time as danger seemed to loom before them. Without a word, Ryou dashed past the girls to adopt a frontline position and stood ready to counterattack anything that may come his way or towards his newfound allies.

Ryou, prepared to fight and defend himself, had a quick mind. He swiftly dodged the first strike and blocked the second one with his tonfa. <span class="through">He then used that momentum to chain together a string of attacks with his tonfa, powered by the Double Strike rune which allows him to attack twice. He ends this combo with a powerful kick that aims to knock the fake chest further back.</span> He had however not foreseen the girls' magic attacks, so he decided to retreat for the time being. Instead of going for the good old punch combo, Ryou raised his left hand high into the sky. A bright shield materialized above him.
