Coconut Mall
The Survivor's pace would continue to grow as he flipped into more coins. Eventually he'd reach another box, grabbing what appeared to be his own green shell. "Another item to save." Eventually, he would reach the finish line once more, lap three. All or nothing.

The Survivor continues to backflip, drifting around the corner, somehow. As the shell approaches, a blast of sound emanates from him, likely owing to the speaker he once had. "I have now used the item." He then clips through a box, crossing over the finish line to signal lap 2. Distantly he appears to be holding a solid lump of gold. "Worthless." He immediately throws it, but it disappears before it hits the ground. Noticeably he is backflipping slightly faster.

The threats fall on deaf ears as the Survivor continues to backflip, clipping into various boxes. It appears a speaker is in his hands. "This item I shall save."
A lone spirit
The man continues wandering, allowing his robot companion to take a break from its constant scanning. He picks a small flower, examining it. After a few seconds, he places it back into the soil, continuing down the street.

Continuing back-flipping, the Survivor clips through a cube, which would net him a spiked blue shell. He immediately threw that item ahead of him, watching it do whatever it does. "Those items are for me to use!"

A quick flip to the side would avoid any consequence of the shell despite smart bouncing being an actual mechanic, in response, he would throw back his own green shell, smart bounce enabled. "I will miss that item." He flips through another box, banana in hand.

Instead of using a kart, a man in a space suit backflips continuously. He seems to clip through the banana instead of slipping on it. "I have come for your items."
A lone spirit
A pair enters the scene, one human, one floating several feet off the ground. Strapped to the human's back appears to be a space-age rifle, yet it still had basic things like a bolt and a scope. He kicks aside rubble as he walks, allowing for his mechanical companion to investigate whatever may have been hidden beneath. Despite obviously having caught sight of the others, he continued his routine. Every brick inspected would net him a holographic screen, one which he quickly flicked away. He'd gradually approach of course, but never letting the idea of company keeping him from what he had already been doing.
A lone spirit
Upon feeling the dangerous aura, the Survivor's gun found itself unslung and a bullet chambered. He'd keep his gun pointed low, but it remained in his hands. He'd flick a finger forward, and the drone would appear to go investigate whatever was happening. It'd float quietly, the only noise that could ever be heard from it was a quiet whir from within its metal casing.
