*The sheet of ice halts at the magical barrier for a moment, Gamma seems slightly chilled, but laughs as the barrier breaks*

How pathetic. You're really just scared to fight me, aren't you? Don't you realize? As long as I'm here, no one can escape. They'd just get caught in the ice.... And I thought you were some sort of hero, looks like you're just about ready to run.

*Suddenly, a small tornado forms around Mona and begins to pick up the ice formed by Gamma*

*Mona builds the winds up to a colossal size and drags them to a nearby telephone pole. Being caught in the wind current, the poles are knocked down and catch fire, which burns through Gamma's ice and possibly hurt him*

*A rift opens atop a building, conveniently next to Superbia. Honoka steps out, and looks down on the duo fighting below. He mutters under his breath as he smiles.*

There you are, looks like I'm late to the party. I think I'll stay a spectator for now, at least until Yu has convinced the others to help.

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head, as the pole lands near Mona to melt the ice around them*

Well well, as much as I'd love for this witty banter to last forever, you're beginning to waste my time. Shiranui, MaEigaon.

*Numerous Tendrils of darkness form in the air around Gamma and lash out towards the telephone pole, grabbing it and bringing the fire closer to Mona in order to burn them*

Tch... you're the one wasting my time...
*Mona rushes towards the burning poles. When he gets close, he quickly turns around and does a backflip over the poles, dipping his sword fire midair. When Mona lands, he quickly run in front of Gamma with feline speed. Acting too fast for eyes, he lunges towards Gamma and slashes the burning blade against Gamma's chest*

*Gamma sighs, as soon as Mona steps near Gamma, past the pole, Mona is on ice once more, and finds ice spreading up their leg and stopping their movement*
Shiranui, Ice Age.
*Another pulse of ice spreads out from beneath Gamma, much faster than before, it quickly raises into a wall and attempts to overtake and freeze mona*

*Mona gets stuck in the ice*
Grr... enough of this.
Once more! Poseidon!
*The winds grow into a large tornado that attempts to overtake Gamma. Debris, pebbles and dirt also get swept up into the storm*

*Gamma sets his staff into the ground in an attempt to provide more stability, but the wind still pushes him back due to the reduced friction, pelting him with debris*
Just go quietly already, its already practically over...

*The ice has covered Mona up to their arms, but it seems to have stopped spreading at the moment....*

You're damn right it is!
*Mona causes several normal sized rocks to revolve around him. He holds the rocks closely to his frozen skin, as if fusing to him*

*Now braced against the wind, Gamma stands firmly again*
Shiranui, Lets continue where we left off.

*The ice already roughly half-up Mona once more begins its rapid expansion up him, coating Mona in a thick layer of ice.*

Fool! You can't stop nature!
*Using the wind, Mona picks up several large rocks and begins slamming them at the ice to break it. At the same, Mona picks up three long boulders with the wind and has them point towards Gamma. The boulders fly towards Gamma like swords*

*Gamma begins to laugh*
Usually I would simply freeze people solid, but you seem far more eager to go your own way... Fine by me. Shiranui, Maeigaon.

*Tendrils of darkness form in the air around Gamma and grasp the boulders, flinging them back at Mona. The ice around them has begun to crack, but definitely won't break until the larger boulders get there.... At which point they'd shatter straight through the ice, striking Mona in the process*

*Mona gets hit by the boulder and get knocked back. He appears to have fallen down.*

*Gamma starts to laugh again, but cuts himself short*

*Tendrils of darkness form around Gamma and reach out to take Mona's Rift Slingshot*

*Mona picks up an abundance of small to medium stones and rocks and gathers them at Gamma's feet.*

*The sheet of ice covers all the rocks at Gamma's feet as it rapidly rushes towards Mona, slowing a little upon reaching the area that was not already covered in ice*

Heh, you're the one with the deathwish. All you can do is spam that same attack. Only two things can happen at this point. Either I catch on and find a weakness, or we just keep fighting until someone intervenes or we get tired. Guess what that weakness is? *Mona's winds grow strong enough to tear the ground apart, creating a canyon between Gamma and himself several miles deep.*

OOC: Gamma can freeze people because he has ice magic, that seems pretty simple to me at least.

Also I think it's a bit over the top for the army to just null things, resisting them would be fine to me but outright no sells is a tad over the top for anything that can be mass produced. If it's null all magic then that's just going above and beyond OP.

OOC: it was far from instant as you may have noticed. The ice's progress was given in every single update. He simply fights by spreading ice across the area, then freezing opponents from there. You simply never actually fought the ice, or tried to avoid it. So freezing happened.
