Announcing the Tournament of Desires!

OOC: If you wish for a more concise version of this, please read the next post. This first part is just a little fun IC info dump.

*In the middle of a vast desert, a large man in tan and brown robes stands to greet you.*

Welcome everyone! Please, take your seats. Yes, I know there're no seats in the desert. And, before you ask, there aren't any rivers in the desert either.
Now, my announcement is... ta-da!

*Before their eyes, a large stone colosseum rises out of the sand behind them.*

A tournament! Aptly titled: The Tournament of Desires!
Now, what are the rules for this tournament, you may ask. Well, to sum them up briefly...
This tournament will be done in a two versus two manner, meaning each person shall receive a partner in which they shall enjoy their battles with! Each battle shall be conducted within this arena on a variety of stages, ranging from the desert around us, to a raging river!
Of course, I wouldn't bring this up without mentioning our amazing prize! I, the powerful sorcerer that I am, have the ability to grant the winners 3 wishes to split between themselves! Isn't that simply fantastic!

Alright, so here's the low-down.
This is a 2 man team tournament. Each round will be 2 on 2, and will follow a standard bracket.
You do not get to choose your partner. When the bracket is created, everyone shall get their teammate for the tournament. This is an attempt to try and get people to RP cooperatively with others who they otherwise wouldn't or won't, due to unfamiliarity. I do highly recommend speaking with your teammate over Discord or PMs to discuss things like fusion spells or tactics, which I legitimately hope to see.

To what extent can these wishes be? After all, I'm sure you have some sort of restraints on them

Things outside my power are erasing deities, pure creation, and alteration of one's soul. Oh, and otherwise affecting other's plots without the creator's consent.

OOC: Something I forgot to mention. I technically don't disallow entrances of multiple accounts per 1 user, just please don't go overboard. Fighting with yourself, or god forbid fighting AGAINST yourself is tough to deal with.

*Roxas shrugs and signs in spite of his reservations then walks off into the dark portal as it flickers out of existence*

She'd silently reflect on the information she had gathered before finding the place, heading over to the sign-ups to add her name to the list. She doesn't stick around for pleasantries or anything of the sort as she quickly takes off once she's done what she came to do. Perhaps Alice has taken something of the tourney, the chance at a fulfilled wish, a little too seriously.*
