*Gamma follows signs to Ene and Teddie's waiting room, waiting in the hallway outside. Once there, he forms a shard of ice, and begins tossing it into the air like a ball, as though expecting something*

Wow ! this place looks huge! I'm sure this'll be interesting! * he runs like an excited child to a front row seat*

*A Primarina sits in the waiting area, looking at some kind of bracelet that she holds in her flippers. She adjusts the strange device around her neck nervously.*

*Kazuya arrives at the arena, being followed by Cerberus, Trumpeter, Beelzebub and Odin, the all go inside the waiting chamber. The young man is holding a small box and has has both sword with him.* Alright, I think this will do! *He leaves the box in a corner and smiles.* This is a promise, I'll come for you when I...WE win!

Ah... there you are. *The Primarina smiles a little upon Kaz's arrival. She gives a nervous glance towards the demons.* Those are your... demons, is that what you call them?

Wow ! I didn't know you were allowed to bring tamed monsters! * he says with stars in his eyes while looking at the contestants entering their cubicles* And.. is that a... A seal?! How is it going to fight?! Man this tourney is going to be crazy! I'm so excited!

*Kalib sits in the stands excitedly waiting for the match. He holds a blue foam finger and a sign that reads "Go Team Ene!"* Haha! I want everyone to do their best but I guess my bias got the better of me! *He laughs softly as he awaits the match.*

[Though their ties are mostly cut by now, Hazama still seems to have shown up for Kazuya's match. Maybe he just has nothing better to do, maybe there's something more to it...? Regardless of the exact reason why, he's in the spectator box leaning against the wall.]

*Kazuya blinks a couple of times as he looks at the pokemon in front of him.* Right...! You're my partner! Hello, my name is Kazuya, and yeah, they are my demons...well, a good amount of them, really! They are Trumpeter, Odin, Beelzebub and my pal Pascal! Oh, he's a Cerberus, although of a "different species". *He smiles at her.* And you're....Primarina, right?

* he looks at the man with the cool hat who just sat down next to him* This is exciting isn't it? Do you know who the opposing team will be mister?

*A robed figures sits in the stands playing with a metal ball.* So, that Kazuya guy is fighting, right? I've heard he's pretty strong, so this should be entertaining.

*Ene makes her late appearance in the waiting area with a black snake on her head.* *She carefully places her snake on the floor and begins to stretch* Ooh Snake-Chan this is going to be so much fun! It's been so long since I actually got to play with anyone! *Snake-Chan impassively gazes at her as she does one final stretch and sighs* I hope our rivals are ready for an awesome surprise!

Yes. Pleased to meet you. *She bows, then holds out the bracelet.* I'm not sure if I'll need to use a Z-move for this fight, but mind holding onto this? If I ever need to use one, I'll let you know. All you have to do is... *She struggles to find the right words* Focus your energy on me, and do a certain motion. *She demonstrates by waving her flippers as if they were waves. An odd thing to do, but the bracelet's gem gleams a little at that.*

*Laharl arrives in a chariot pulled by prinnies.* Well, well, if it isn't this tournament. Looks like the match is starting, might as well say a few things. *Laharl gets carried out to the stadium and arrives to a high platform to where he will watch the match from. This platform is surrounded by heavy guarding and protection*

*Gamma looks up as Ene passes by, he smiles and looks at the snake* My other friend's name is Homura, Homura Akemi. For after our next event. Until then, I'll be watching. Do your best, ok? *Gamma walks off towards the spectator booth, to join the crowd*

[Hazama seems to be pretty bored, though he does seem to brighten up a bit at the sight of Snake-chan.] I can't say I know who Kazzy will be fighting, nor can I say I really know his partner well. Either way though, I'm eager to see someone get the tar beat out of them.

*Kazuya nods with excitement and takes the bracelet. After putting it on, he mimics the moves Primarina just did, all with a big smile on his face.* I don't really know what will happen, but I'll trust you, partner! Now, I hope you can trust my friends here, they'll make sure to take care of you!

* spotting Gamma, he waves at him, and gestures at him to tell him to come over * HEEEEEEEEEY !!!! MISTER GAMMA !!!!!!!

* Akechi decides to spectate this match, hoping to see a good battle* This is gonna be really intresting * he sits in one of the chairs looking around to see if someoje delivers food*

*Gamma sighs and walks over to Bartz* Hello. I'm sorry, I don't remember meeting before. I'll assume it was at a cafe? Or maybe the park

Thank you. I have complete faith in you, as well as your companions. *Primarina bows, then gets ready for the match to begin.*

*Snake-Chan narrows his eyes in concentration while Ene simply gazes at him with confusion* What was that about? *Snake-Chan instantly looks away from Ene and she pouts* Fine then don't tell me. Humph it was probably some lame reptile stuff anyone.

Wow! that's kinda rude * he says with a sad smile* Yeah we met at the park! But that doesn't matter! We'll be teaming up later during the tournament! Did they not tell you?

I'll warn you though, Ene can make use of electrical attacks, I've seen them, but I'm not sure if she has new tricks. As for Teddie, all I've heard is that he mostly attacks with Ice...I haven't seen him fight yet though. *He looks to the front and nods, both him and his demons are waiting for everything to begin.*

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head* I'm afraid I didn't pay much attention to who my opponent... Sorry, teammate was supposed to be. Though I didn't pay much attention to my opponents either. It doesn't really matter I guess. Though I've never really seen what you can do. I'm sure you'll find a way to work around me.

*Teddie runs into the arena, slightly out of breath.* Sorry, am i late?

(Homura wanders into the stands staring absently at the ring) Huh another battle... (She looks down in a mix of curiosity and fear) I really hope nothing too bad happens here.. (She looks over at Gamma after hearing Bartz shout) Oh hello Gamma-san how are you today? I hope it's going well for you! (She smiles brightly at him before sitting down) I'm very interested in your plans you know. (Homura smirks and leans back, her hands clenched and shaking a bit clearly trying to cover up her fear) I'll be watching you Gamma-san...

Well my specialty is job changes! I can be a knight, a dancer, a geomancer and many more!

*As the floor rises and the ceiling opens, the landscape before the combatants and spectators quickly changes to a large cement structure resting between the 2 groups. As it rises, rocky terrain begins to form around it, as well as a small channel perpendicular to the structure. Clear blue water begins to gush out of the structure, as it become derelict, showing signs of clear wear as if it'd been sitting there for years. On either side of this river, wires stretch across the sky, reaching from the broken building to the void beyond the end of the channel. From a platform above the rushing water, Jin speaks.* Hello and welcome to the first round of the Tournament of Desires! This arena is specially made to suit our combatants, and has a special rule! If you happen to wind up in the rapids gushing from the building, and end up flowing all the way to the end, you're out! Anyone who happens to face the torrent of these rapids shall be removed from the game! Oh, and do be careful around the building you're standing on, it's quite... unstable. *A gong sounds across the arena, and the tension builds. Who will strike first! Alright players. Ready, steady, FIGHT!*

*Gamma waves off Homura* I'm doing quite wonderfully, thanks for asking. In fact, I'm doing better than ever. Pretty sure my business is none of yours though. *Gamma then sighs and turns back to Bartz* Jack of all trades then, like a Wildcard. I specialize in ice and dark magic. I'm sure you'll easily be able to work with that.

Okay I'll go first! *Ene is about to make a move but the chastising glare of Snake-Chan stops her* *She awkwardly rubs her head* Hehe guess I was about to get ahead of myself. Thanks best friend!

Well that's lucky! The one thing I'm kinda bad at is magic * he gives gamma an embarrassed smile* I'm kinda bad with that stuff.

*Primarina, not wanting to risk getting hurt or swallowed by the rapids just yet, stays where she is and spreads her flippers.* Misty Terrain! *A strange, magical mist spreads across the battlefield, eventually covering the entire area.* (5 turns, prevents Burn, Poison, Sleep, Shock, and Freeze. Only affects those on the ground.)

Oh, but shhhh! the match is starting! * he sits down and looks attentively at the arena. *

(She laughs and shrugs obviously finding his words untrue) You say that but any business that might endanger Madoka is mine Gamma-san! (Her tone becomes more steady as she smiles at him with false sweetness) Any friend of that other Homura... Is definitely someone I'm interested in obviously! (The girl smirks at him for a moment before turning back to the ring) I'm not sure what she plans to do Gamma-san but she did pull a gun on Madoka... I'm not about to just let something like that slide ya know?

Alright, persona! *He crushes a card, summoning Kamui-Moshiri.* How about this! *He uses Bufudyne on Prim, dealing heavy ice damage.*

Ooc: if it hits of course

Uhm.. Are you two friends or something ?

*Laharl yawns of boredom as he is clearly uninterested in the match.*

[Hazama looks almost offended at the river, normally in this situation he'd probably resort to teasing Gamma or something but not now.] Pfft, stage hazards? Those aren't allowed where I come from. The most I got was a...very loud dog. Next thing we know some items to help the combatants will fall out of the sky or something.

Can I finally go now bestie? *Ene looks pleadingly up at Snake-Chan* *Snake-Chan simply watches the enemy team with a focused gaze* Ugh fine I'll just sit here then! *She sits down cross legged with an annoyed expression on her face* Next time I'll bring snacks since you obviously don't like getting your scales dirty!

*Gamma looks back out into the arena, looking mostly between Kaz and Ene* Indeed. I look forward to the results. If nothing else, knowing our future opponents will be quite useful. *Gamma casts Homura a cold, sideways glance* That's not my problem. If you're looking for information on them, sorry to say, but I don't know anything. *Gamma smirks* So even if you had something to interest me. You're wasting your time asking. *Gamma looks back to Bartz, and begins throwing a small shard of ice up into the air and catching it* I only vaguely know them. Seen them a few times. Never been pleasant conversation. You get used to it after a while.

*The robed figure puts his palm to his head and whispers to himself.* You're the loudest one here...

Now then! *Cerberus lets out a might roar and Trumpeter flies towards Primarina, and stays just a few meters above her, where he casts Debilitate on Ene. After this, a bright light covers Kazuya's body.* This is the first round and we've gotta prove ourselves to everyone here and now, are we going down as losers, or will we make our "wish" come true! *The light then covers the entire group, greatly raising their abilities (Morale Boost: Basically a Party wide Heat Riser). Now that the other demons are motivated, Beelzebub attacks Teddie with Agidyne, while Odin casts "Concentrate".*

*Primarina is hit by Bufudyne, but her water-typing allows her to resist it easily. She flinches a little, but takes a deep breath.* Hyper Voice... *She sings a few notes, then inhales. The next note is high and loud enough to create a shockwave, which blasts towards Ted, Ene, and Snake-chan* (Heavy magic-based Phys to all enemies)

(She nods dubiously and then smiles at him genuinely) Well if you're telling the truth thanks for the info... Just knowing you're out of the loop is very helpful Gamma-san! Or you're lying to me and I'll know not to believe a thing you say later! Either way is a help though so thanks very much. (Homura stands bows at the man and then sits down clearly done speaking for now as age watches the fight)

*Ene instantly feels a bit tired as the debilitate hits her and in this weakened state she is easily thrown back with Hyper Voice.* *She hits the ground with a decent thud as Snake-Chan clings onto her hood* Owww ... *She examines her now scruffed up hood* What should we do now bestie!? I don't like getting hurt like this and my arms are all ... *Before she can fall into a fit Snake-Chan bites her* *She instantly collapses on the ground in a limp heap and blue electricity escapes from her and enters the wires.* *Meanwhile, Snake-Chan enters her hood with vibrant red eyes*

*Gamma sighs and looks back at the fight* I'm my own man Homura. Never forget that. I serve no one but myself. *Gamma looks out into the arena and sees Ene's collapse* Well, that was disappointing. I was hoping to get more info on Kaz at least.

*Kalib gasps as Ene collapses but notices the electricity.* Hmm? Alright. Let's see what you can do!

*Teddie dodges the Agidyne, but isn't as lucky with the Hyper Voice.* Ugh, alrighty, time for me to exact some revenge. *He unsheaths his Katana, and runs toward Prim, slashing at them when they get close enough.*

She left her body already, huh? *Kazuya grins and snaps his fingers, with this, the demons appear much more confident of everything. Trumpeter uses its own body as a meat shild for any attack that may be directed to Prim, taking Teddie's attack while Cerberus runs at Ene, jumping in the air before it summons a gigantic golden fist, God's Hand (Colossal phys one enemy) to attack.* Now then...! *Odin, now attacks both Ene and Teddie with Thunder Reign (Severe Elec to all enemies), which is potenciated my "Concentrate", while Beelzebub attacks with Maeigaon (Heavy Curse to all). Meanwhile, Kazuya stands still as magic slowly covers his body.*

Wha?! *He not only takes a lot of damage from the electric attack, he gets knocked down, he nulls the Maeigaon though.*

*Primarina closes her eyes as Teddie charges... and something else is hit instead? She nods in thanks to Trumpeter and slides out from behind him* Moonblast! *A ball of light is fired at Teddie for heavy Bless, with a 30% chance of magic-only tarunda*

*Teddie struggles to get back up, when he does though, he gets hit with the Moonblast.* Nnrgh... *He uses Diarahan to bring himself back to full health.* Well that was a pain.

*The wires above everyone begin to glow a light blue as Ene's? poor body is left horribly scratched up and buried in a hole on the ground.* *Yet her mouth slightly moves as she absorbs the thunder reign as if it were nothing* Play Time is over you fools. *She slowly stands up with blue circuitry alight as her now yellow serpentine eyes focus on Kazuya* *Her eyes turn glare right into him* I always hated you in particular Mr. Hero. Especially after you wouldn't play along with my present! *The wires snap off and move to grab Kaz* So why don't you just die by my hand! *At the snap of her fingers black electricity comes forth from her hands and envelop the wires aiming at Kaz*

*Gamma watches the match, and buries his head in his arms with a groan* You've got to be joking right now. No no, go ahead. Wave around a sign saying "I'm evil". I swear to god no one in this place has any tact at all. Why is it always the most difficult people I have to work with?

What are you mumbling about partner ?

You really like losing your head, don't you, Snake? *Kazuya smiles with confidence as the magic surrounding his body explodes, as Kazuya unshealts both swords at immense speed, unleashing dozens of slashes directed to every single wire. Cutting them before they get to him. Although, the electricity from them still get to him through his sword.* Relentless Fury: Sever! *As Kazuya does this, Cerberus keeps attacking with God's Hand. Trumpeter casts Makarakarn on Prim. Now, Odin attacks Teddie with Zyodine as it takes a few steps back, aiming to get closer to Prim, and Beelzebub attacks with Megidolaon from the sky.*

*Gamma sighs and looks back up at Bartz* Nothing important. Just the wonderful ruins that all my plans end up becoming. In fact, why don't you just take the lead in our match? I'm sure it'll work out better than if I do.

*Kalib's eyes go wide for a moment at the sudden personality shift in Ene?.* Well I figured as much.

*Primarina's singing is drowned out by the attacks around her, but her final note is loud and clear. Another Hyper Voice shockwave shakes the battlefield, mostly in Ene's general direction to blow the wires away... although it may hit Kaz in the process. Teddie should be able to more easily avoid this one.*

*Teddie gets hit and knocked down via electricity again, as well as getting hit by the Megidolaon, and the hyper voice due to being knocked down.* Ugh, i should've kept evade elec...

*Teddie has a really bad struggle getting up from that major beatdown, but he got up soon enough.* Alrighty... *He uses Diarahan on himself yet again.* Well this sucks.

*She faces Kaz with an innocent smile* I don't know what your talking about friend I am just a cute girl. *Said cute girl gets absolutely beaten and abused by the onslaught of attacks* *Yet as she bleeds and falls to both knees she is still able to let out a lighthearted laugh* Wow this is so much fun don't you two think! *Her yellow eyes close as the black electricity begins to swirl around her* *She mumbles* How about I show you two another cool party trick! *As she continues to focus the severed and separated wires glow blue once again and launch from the ground* *This time the wires attempt to grab both Kaz and Prim by the feet as they get enveloped by even more black lightning.*

I could call them back but...! *Kazuya makes a quick movement with his hand, and Odin nods as he grabs Prim and launches her to the air, aiming at Trumpeter who catches her, holding the susprisingly light pokemon on its back. In the end, Odin is grabbed by the wired but is not damaged at all, as he nulls electricity of all kind.* Well don-!! *Kazuya is not fast enough, and his last attack made him slower. In the end, the wired take hold of him and takes a big amount of damage. Even though he feel a great amount of pain, he never stops smiling.* P-Prim is safe now, and it's time...! *Cerberus lets out a roar as fires an Agidyne at the wires close to Ene, attempting to burn them, and Beelzebub, still flying, attacks the base of the buiding itself with a powerful Megidolaon, attempting to make it more unstable.*

*Some of the wires shock Prim, but Kazuya's quick thinking gets her safely on Trumpeter's back. Still shaking, she looks down at the misty battlefield.* Kazuya... No, I can't run. Moonblast! *A bright orb of light is fired downwards towards Ene, pulsing with magical energy. If it hits for heavy Bless, there's a 30% chance of magic-only Tarunda- something that may just decrease the damage to Kaz*

Forget this. *He starts running toward where he started, but then he stops and smirks.* Take this! *He uses Mabufudyne, dealing heavy ice damage to the two opponents.*

*She claps with joy as she carefully stands up in spite of the pain* *As she stands the black electricity swirling around her struggles against the falling orb of light. The two forces clash and the resulting energy serves to force her back down* *Wincing she slowly brings her hand up toward the orb of light and snaps her fingers* When I said I would win at any cost I meant it sillies. *She obnoxiously sticks out her tongue as a different set of wires across the channel of water launch toward the group.* *However, instead of aiming for the group they gently pick up Ene? and raise her up in the air. While the previous wires lie burnt on the ground these new wires brim with the same blue vitality exhibited at the beginning of the match.* Now my dear if you would be so kind to help out Hero guy. *Under the gentle petting of Ene? the new wires swipe at the building intending to finish off what Kaz started.*

*As the building is hit by Ene, the entire structure collapses, leaving the combatants falling. On the floor below, they find themselves knee deep in water, with the rubble of the floor above being usable as platforms to stay dry.*

What the?! *He luckily lands on some rubble.* Now that was unexpected.

*Kazuya is suddenly hit by a big chunk of ice, dealing a lot of damage, but the one directed to Prim is, instead, absorved by Trumpeter, who is now something akin to a meat shield for her.* You hit hard, you're pretty strong...! *Kazuya chuckles as he falls. Magic is now charging around his body, and at the same time, powerful blue flames cover his body as a gigantic sword is summoned and flies at Ene.* Vorpal Blade, say good bye! *Kusanagi moves around at great speed, slashing and cutting, but not at Ene, no, but the wires themselves. Beelzebub then rushes at Kazuya so he lands on the giant demon's back, and then goes for Odin, catching him with its arms.* That was close, thanks Beel! *After leaving Odin safely on the ground, Beelzebub shoots a powerful Megidolaon, not only to hit their opponents but also take care of the wires, and as Cerberus lets himself fall without much fear, it fires Agidyne at the wires as well, trying to burn them immediately. Odin, on the other hand, fires a Ziodyne at Teddie. Sadly, Cerberus takes a big amount of damage once he gets to the ground, recieving a decent amount of damage, slowing him down as well.*

*He gets knocked down for the 100th time.* I hate this game.

Ooc: oh and he also takes damage from the megidolaon just so you know

Water... and electricity... *Prim takes a deep breath and composes herself. She begins singing, and the water below her shifts, creating balls of water that fly upwards. With a wave of her flippers, they spread out, splashing water all over Teddie, Ene, and the rubble they may be on- a perfect conductor*

*Caught by surprise Ene? finds her wires obliterated out of existence and the megidolaon forces her to fall upon Teddie with a crash.* *At this point she is practically seething with anger as she her hair drips with newly created water* I don't ... *However the anger fades as tears appear in her yellow eyes and a few teary droplets fall upon the water* *She let's out a pitiful whimper as her reopened cuts turn the water around her red.* Know what I did to deserve this! *Her face turns upward as she continues to cry* I just wanted to have fun but this hurts! *She tries to wipe some of the tears with her tattered sleeves* Please make it stop!

*Teddie gets up.* Alrighty, let's try this. *Teddie freezes the area around him, turning nearby water into ice, without freezing ourselves of course.* Now this! *He shatters the ice using Gigantic Fist.*

*Trumpeter takes this chance to heal the entire party with Mediarama. He then makes his trumpet, and at the sound of it, the demons move to surround both Teddie and Ene. Kazuya leaps off of Beelzebub and magic keeps charging up.* If you really want that, then give up and give the win to us. Otherwise, and as you can see... *Cerberus prepares an Agidyne, Odin prepares its lance to attack with Myriad Slashes and Beelzebub to attack with Megidolaon. Trumpeter just chuckles.* It'll be an all out attack, and trust me when I say that we haven't even used all of our ca-!? *Suddenly, Cerberus, Odin and Kazuya have their feet frozen in the place, distracting him. Worst of all, Kazuya and Odin get hurt by the shattered ice, with no one but Cerberus being safe by destroying the ice around him with th Agidyne he was preparing, and Beelzebub who was flying at the time, and so, the demon takes the opportunity to attack with Megidolaon.*

*Primarina stops singing. Even up here, she can hear Ene's crying... She begins to sing again, creating a few large water orbs that she uses as a makeshift staircase to head down towards Ene, only being hurt by a few of Teddie's ice shards* You don't have to fight anymore... If you want, I can help you get to whatever humans use to heal... a hospital? *She extends her flipper to the girl*

*...And is knocked back by being too close to the Megidolan. Ouch.*

*He gets seriously hurt by the Megidolaon.* I have one more trick... *He uses Kamui Miracle, hoping he gets something good.*

*The megidolan hits for the last time throwing Ene? towards Prim* *Her body falls next to Prim with a thud of finality as her vision begins to swim* I-I ... refuse to lose ... like this... *Her yellow eyes slowly focus on Prim with a weak glare* *She coughs and some blood comes out from her lips* I'll just take you with me ... *She smiles as she flicks a few electrified tears from her hand to Prim* *Using this as a distraction she then uses her other arm to throw a combination of the water, her blood, and her tears, upon Prim sparking it with lightning at the last moment.* This is what happen to the weak! *She then falls to the ground unconscious after her last ditch effort*

Wha- *Prim can only watch as the electricity strikes her body. Her whole body convulses from the powerful desperation attack, and she falls limp on the icy ground.*

*Aaaaaand... Nothing happens.* Welp, this sucks.

Oh, and it appears we have a double knockout! Just 2 combatants left, who will reign supreme! *Snapping his fingers, Jin teleports Ene and PrimPrim away from the battlefield and onto the beds of the recovery room.*

Prim, Ene!! *Kazuya turns around to see Prim and Ene fall, as Cerberus melts the ice of both Odin and Kazuya.* Well...Ene and Prim are down...now, all that remains is you. *Now, Beelzebub, Trumpeter, Odin and Kazuya surround Teddie once more. But this time, Odin attacks him immediately with Thunder Reign, while Trumpeter casts Makarakarn on Cerberus.* I'll give you one more chance, Ted. You give up now, or you will wake up in a couple of hours.

*He's knocked down.* I'd rather die than give up like a coward.

*He gets up.* Let's do this again. *He uses Kamui Miracle a second time.*

*It knocks down Kaz!* A god really does exist, now... what to doooo....

*Kazuya suddenly feels an oppresing force knocking him down, regardless of what he wills* W-What the...!? *Not only him is downed, but his entire party of demons, and are unable to get up.* Y-You gotta be kidding me...!

*He cuts open a rift using his katana, he walks in and after a bit, he drags his suit through.* I hope everybody's watching. *He then opens up the suit, as well as walking over to Kaz and picking him up.* Sorry in advance for this, you just really pissed me off, y'know? *Teddie puts Kaz in the suit, closing it shut then freezing it.* Time for the grand finale! *He crushes the suit using Gigantic Fist.* That was fun.

*Teddie looks to the crowd.* Now wasn't that a neat magic trick? I made his life disappear.

*Kazuya just lays on the ground after all this, with a deadpan expression on his face.* I...I try to be nice, like..."Hey, I don't wanna hurt ya anymore", and I get k-kicked in the ball for that... I-I hate myself...sometimes...! *Kazuya is almost completely unable to move, and the demons stand up, just looking at eachother.*

*Gamma hardly seems to be watching as he hits his head against a nearby wall. Looks like he might have been doing this for a while*

And it appears our winning team is... TEDDIE AND ENE! *The croud goes wild in excitement as the first match comes to a close.* Well, I'll see you all next time, for match 2 of the Tournament of Desires! Too-da-loo! *Kazuya is warped off the battlefield and put into a bed in the recovery room. Teddie is also warped there, although he's instead placed in the waiting room. Stay tuned for match 2 folks, coming... hopefully Saturday.*
