The Game Cave
*Tucked away in a corner of Shibuya is a small game store. Although the building has rather little room it seems that the owners are quite efficient with it, fitting several shelves filled with board games, card games, and some of the most recent video games, as well as leaving room for tables where people can gather. Behind the counter is a Lavender-haired man who watches two friends as they're playing some sort of card game*
*Note: The store is owned by Dan Kuroto DEUS; AKA Genm.*
*Iwai enters the game cafe, looking around with a duffle bag, as well as some model guns with an orange tip.*
*Gamma looks up from the others and waves to Iwai* Nice to see you again man, is there anything I can get you, or are you just here to hang out? Far as I'm aware the owner doesn't really care whether or not you buy stuff... I mean, I imagine its preferred but.... *sigh* You know what I mean.
*Iwai nods.* Well, im actually here to set up an arcade game... Might take some time.
*Bgammaxfanboy busts the door off it's hinges* Oh my god, the rumors are true! GAMMA IS HERE! *Bgammaxfanboy then screams like a little fangirl and accosts Gamma, asking for an autograph and other things fans do.* ...I mean, wuteveh...
*Iwai just stares at the fanboy, then proceeds to walk towards an empty spot, then proceeds to set up 'UNTOUCHABLE! THE GAME'
*Gamma looks over at Iwai and nods back* Interesting, come to think of it, that's probably a good idea. Maybe some of the people who hang out here w.... *Gamma is cut off by his fanboy and looks for a pen* I mean, I'm not much of anything really, but I guess if you really want, well... I don't mind signing something. *Gamma takes a pen out from a cup near the cash register and quickly signs a scrap piece of paper, handing it to Bgammaxfanboy*
*Iwai quickly finishes the game, it plays a short intro, taking through the streets of Shibuya, working with Yakuza, then a showcase of Untouchable, a japanese text pops up, reading 'INSERT COIN TO START'.*
*Bgammaxfanboy explodes with joy, his blood and guts splashing on the floor, and hitting anyone nearby him*
OOC; A literal explosion, damn. He dead son.
*Gamma stares where his fanboy used to be, wiping the blood off of his glasses* I... Come to think of it, isn't that the guy who killed himself with a Lincoln Park CD? Nevermind... *sigh* You know, if someone had fire we could totally steamclean the place. as is, well. May as well stop it from hurting the cash register. Shiranui, Ice Age. *Gamma brings forth his persona and spreads ice to cover and freeze all of the blood, to prevent it from harming the electronics*
*Iwai stands near 'UNTOUCHABLE THE GAME!' waiting for a person to play and guide them through.*
*Malloryn walks in, not looking at where "she's" going with her earphones in. As soon "she" looks up from turning off "her" music, "she" gets to see a beautiful art piece-I mean, gory explosion in a damn game room. Best thing that happened today at least. Oh well, now "her" clothes have a bit of blood on them, a nice little touch from "her" usual purple, blue, and black.* "Is it, not a good time to be here?...I only came to relax..." "she" asked in "utter confusion". It's more of, a bit surprised but still bored. Deep voice, "blueish" black eyes, stuff like that, you know it's her. "...and what was that I saw just now?" she queried like any normal person would, getting a glimpse of Shirauni and looking at the sudden ice sheet in the room and now wishing her jacket could handle the season of winter better.
Ooc: Fucking double ands.
*Iwai keeps his cap down, continuing to wait for a player to play 'UNTOUCHABLE! THE GAME'*
We are so cool Gamma!
*The store-worker sighs and shakes his head* Sorry about that kid it was just...... Ok I honestly have no explanation for any of this. Some guy exploded because he's weak to signatures or something, and I'm trying to clean up the mess a bit.. *The lavender-haired worker briefly bows to the "girl" Sorry for that inconvenience. Promise it won't happen again. Is there anything I can get you while you're here? *As if to ruin the moment, his Persona begins speaking again* Haven't I told you to keep it quiet? We don't need to be freaking people out with talking fire ghosts.
*Iwai continues to wait, becoming quite tired.*
But your a walking icelord! Having a cool ghost would only help!
Play my game already... *Iwai begins growing impatient.*
*Hibki walks into the store just looking around before he notices Gamma* Hey there! You open this place recent- *He notices the frozen blood* Why was I expecting normal anyways?
*Iwai begins walking in a half circle around the machine, until someone actually plays 'his' game.*
*Gamma sighs and gestures towards Iwai* Please don't mind the bloodstain, no I didn't kill anyone, they just exploded... *sigh* I really shouldn't have to explain this. Anyways, he seems to be getting pretty antsy over there, so I'd appreciate it if you'd help him Hibki.
"Uh huh..." she said, pretending to look like she's faking an "I know but I don't" situation. *She then shoots Gamma with a confused look.* "Well, what do you have? I mean, other then a towel which is what I need right now. Also some hot cocoa, any kind of food...you know what, I'll just get a towel. Can I just go to a table and we can continue from there?" *She hears Shiranui talking to Gamma, and Gamma seemingly talking back to nothing and chuckles a bit before sitting at a booth.*
I'll go play the game. *He walks over to Iwai and his machine* How much and how do you play?
*Iwai sighs bringing out a piece of cardboard and writing 'Play my game, its fun' on it with a black 'skerple'*
*Iwai sighs in relief.* You work with Yakuza, kill stuff... Then come to my store for upgrades...
Oh, almost forgot, 20 yen. *Iwai begins mumbling.*
*Gamma sighs and dismisses his Persona again* Well, this is a game store, so I'm not entirely sure what we can do for you. There's some snack stuff on the shelves over there. *Gamma gestures to a shelf filled with various types of candies and chips* But yeah, you can sit if you want, that's what the tables are for, just hanging out or whatever.
Your pink hair is on poi-gah! *Shiranui then disappears, being unsummoned by Pink Icelord
"Thanks for the brief explanation." obvious sarcasm if her voice didn't sound so honest. "Do you have any types of manga or just, any type of reading material? If not, I can just buy some snacks and be on my merry way." she said with a joyous look before going back to her usual resting face, that of a serial killer but that's just the way it is. "Of course I'll stay over at the table, just that I'm not that much of a gamer archetype." she requested, putting 360 yen on the table and inching it to where the cash register is.
bump
*Gamma sighs and looks around the back of the store* Well, it sounds like you're not interested in game instructions or anything, but there is some supplemental material. Backstory and stuff. *After rummaging through a few papers, Gamma finds a storybook for the game "Warcraft" and tosses it towards the girl, before heading back to the register and counting out the 360 Yen before putting it in*
*She barely catches it, almost hitting her.* "K thanks." she said, flipping her Purple-Tinted Black Hair at Gamma while turning back. *She takes the "Warcraft" book and goes to her table, reading it with the appropiate music. Not emo, but pop. Wonderful. As always, she's now ignoring everyone as she is trying to finish the book in one go.*
GRAAAAAAH! *An orange-haired man with a blue scarf literally punches the door open (thankfully for Gamma, not breaking it) and steps inside.* So this is a game shop? *He crosses his arms and nods to himself.* BIG FIST won't lose to anyone at any game!
*Iwai sighs then proceeds to sit down, just waiting for someone to play.*
*Iwai chuckles.* Think you can beat me at my own game?
*BIG FIST nods and punches his palm with a fist.* BIG FIST sure can! *He pulls out a coin from his pocket and dramatically inserts it into the machine.*
*Gamma leans back in a chair behind the counter and waves to the customers* Alright, looks like you're getting acquainted nicely. Just tell me if you need something and I'll see what I can do.
*Soon enough, a "GAME OVER" flashes on the screen.* What? You have beaten BIG FIST!? *He punches the machine. It doesn't do much more than dent it a little, but BIG FIST is satisfied with this and walks out of the store.*
*Alice had merely been passing by when a familiar man with oddly colored hair catches her eye. Not one to miss such an opportunity she detours from wherever she was headed and goes right into the shop.* Well, well! Of all the places I'd think to find you I certainly wouldn't have imagined this to be one of them. I assume you work here? *Her question was obviously directed at Gamma as she had fixated her eyes on him once she was inside.*
Sega Saturn, Shiro!
*Breaks down door and walks in* Heyyyyyyy...
*Gamma looks up at Alice and nds* Yeah, I'm kinda used to the inside of a game shop anyways. Though I'll admit I haven't worked one before. Turns out their standards were kinda low. In fact the owner seemed eager to get it over with so he could, and I quote, "make better use of his genius". *Gamma looks around at the now almost empty store* Course, these places are kinda niche, but I guess that's part of what makes it nice. Smaller group means its more personal.
*I say almost empty, there are now 5 maybe 6 people here, that's pretty good for a game store. Speaking of people, Gamma looks over to Segata and Pika* Sorry to break it to you dude, but Saturns are pretty old, and we mostly do board games. Probably don't have much for it. Though I guess I can check the back if you want. *The door had been previously broken down by Gamma's fanboy, so it doesn't really notice Pika. Gamma waves at the mouse* Well... Hello.... Whatever you are. Is there anything I can help you with?
*Lowe wanders inside, looking around the store with wide eyes.* Man, haven't seen a place of this size in ages. It's so hard to find quality game stores nowadays.
*Alice would back away once the yellow creature had announced itself, having never seen anything quite like it, but the Nexus seems to be full of oddities so she doesn't spend much time concerning over it. Whatever it is it has yet to give her reason to up and leave as she would then respond to Gamma.* Well I suppose it's a neat little place nonetheless. I'm actually pretty inexperienced with video games but I guess you could say I'm interested. What would you recommend?
*Segata replaces the broken door with a Sega Saturn door.* Excellent.
Yes sir, I would like to see whatchu got... I actually need one of every console you got. I'm thinking like a PS4, Xbox One, 3DS, and everything else. *Pulls out golden briefcase*
*Gamma waves to Lowe and gestures around the small, well-organized store* Yeah, its nothing special, but at least the owner seems to know what he's doing. Probably some kinda game nut, I dunno. Its pretty cool how much he's been able to do with it. *Gamma grins for a moment and turns around to Alice* Well, there are all sorts of games, the first question to ask is what kind of thing you like. Be it storytelling, quick-thinking, pulse-pounding action, challenging, deep thought. There's probably something for everyone.
*Gamma makes a show of shrugging, both arms out to his side as he turns to Pika* Yeah sorry about that, we don't really sell consoles here. Mostly a board game shop and stuff, though the owner clearly likes video games as well, got a decent collection of games, but no.... *Gamma notices the new door and blinks for a moment* Correction, apparently we now have a Sega Saturn. But it seems to be in-use at the moment. So I don't think I can give it to you.
*Although she had seemed interested in what Gamma had to say, Alice's attention would suddenly wander as something outside of the shop seems to have caught her eye. She'd squint at it before stepping over to the... Sega Saturn door, I guess. She's at least polite enough to stop and dismiss herself.* Forgive me but we'll have to talk another time. I uh... remembered I had to be somewhere. Eheh, stupid memory! *She'd take one last glance at the inhabitants of the shop, being sure to smile back at Gamma in hopes of dispelling any potential for ill-will, and finally exits.*
*Segata replaces a game cabinet with a Sega Saturn game collection cabinet.* Excellent.
*Gamma briefly walks towards Segata as he begins replacing the games* Wait, no... I think tho.... *After looking at the games Segata is putting in instead, Gamma steps back* Nevermind, actually. I think most of those count as antiques. He probably won't mind getting some more games.
Well then Gamma, I'll take one of every board game you got. I need to restock on things like Man Opoly and Uno Dos Tres. *Pulls out a second golden briefcase*
Alright then, give me a moment. THere are quite a few. *Gamma walks around the back, carefully removing games such as Betrayal at House on the Hill, Night of the Grand Octopus, Dead of Winter, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic several others, and of course, Monopoly. Most of these games it looks like there are only two or three in stock, though some of the more popular ones like Munchkin have 5* Lets see.... *Gamma begins punching numbers into the register and it shows a total of 12,868 Yen*
*Gives him both golden briefcases* I'm pretty sure gold bars can account yeah? *Opens briefcases to reveal 5 gold bars in each*
*Gamma looks into the briefcases for a moment, and sighs* Well, for one I'm pretty sure that's a bit much. Second, I honestly don't know what the conversion rate from Yen to pounds in gold.... I'd probably need to call the owner. But well..... He's...... Eccentric. If I did there's a decent chance he'd yell at me for "interruping his creative time".
*A girl wearing a uniform enters the game shop. Initially expressionless, her eyes brighten up as she takes in the atmosphere. She quickly walks to the video games shelf, scanning the rows as if looking for something. All in all she seems to be a space cadet, paying no heed to the other customers*
*Gamma waves to the newcomer... He opens his mouth for a moment, but decides that she's probably used to this sort of thing, and instead leans back, otherwise attempting to look like an attentive worker.*
*The girl eventually stops on a PC game and freezes momentarily. She looks around and silently picks it up before approaching Gamma at the desk. She seems oddly secretive* Um... Excuse me... Do you have the special edition of this? *She passes the case onto the table. It's an odd game titled "Monster Lover"... A visual novel where you date non-human creatures with human emotions. It seems clean, but... Lewd.*
*Gamma looks at the game for a moment, and walks over to a computer near the register* Well, lets see. There should be some kind of log of all the games on here. Or maybe not a log, a file? I dunno...... Record, that's the word. A record. Should be able to search it here. *Gamma types on the keyboard for a while, occasionally clicking something. It takes him nearly a minute of bumbling his way through technology before he's able to shake his head at the girl* Sorry, seems like that's the only one we've got. I take it you really like that game? Most people don't go to the trouble of checking random stores for what amounts to a collector's version.
*Parad walks into the game shop bearing a Genm Corp badge.* Oi, we don't sell games like that here. This is a family friendly store. We don't have enough patience for lewd, lame games like that.
*Gamma looks over at Parad, mostly his badge, and shrugs* I'm honestly not sure what that sort of thing is doing here, maybe Segata accidentally slipped it in with his antiques.... *snickers* Wouldn't that be a story? Either way, don't think its quite right to judge other people's tastes, you know? *shrug* Sure, its a little weird, but whatever.
*Parad once more gestures to his badge* I'm not here to judge taste, that would be lame! I'm just here to enforce company rules. *Parad mutters under his breath* All this to get my Gashat back... that damned Kuroto...
*Drinks whiskey*
I see... Well, I suppose I can try Akihabara... Though it's further away... *She sighs, seemingly tired* Well... Yes. These games are my specialty. *She nods seriously* The Collectors Edition has... Extras. *Her eyes shift off to the side upon emphasising the last word* I was hoping not to have to ride the train that far... But oh well. *Tiredly glares at Parad* Um... Do you even work here? If it exists here, I can buy it.
*Gamma scratches the back of his head in confusion* There are rules? I mean, I kinda assumed so, but he didn't really take the time to explain anything. In fact the "hiring interview" seemed more like a formality than anything. But you look like a bigger member, so I guess.... What was his name again? Dan? Yeah, Dan probably bothered giving you a rulebook or something. *Gamma shrugs, both arms out to his side* Still, just let me take the fall for this one. I've got a streak for being fired after the first day anyways. Its a bit of a long story. *Gamma notices Pika and sighs* Well, on the subject of rules, I think alcohol's against 'em. Mostly for spills and such, get it on much of anything and the game's ruined.
*Parad once again points to his badge* If it exists here, and isn't up to code, you can't. It's a fairly simple rule, ugh.
*Puts whiskey back* So, can I pay in gold or am I gonna have to use cash?
Ina
*teh smol fox girl known as ina walks in* A game shop? Huh.
Oi uh... *Parad flips through a handbook* "Ganma" this'll just be a warning, employment rates are down so we try to give second chances.
*teleports in* I appreciate your efforts but Money's money *Teleports out*
*Gamma chuckles a little and finally gets out from behind the counter and between Parad and Senri* Well, if it exists here and isn't up to code, then I guess its not really in our inventory, is it? So I guess its not my responsibility what happens to it. If it just so happens to walk out the door, well, I guess that means we don't have to deal with the thing. *Gamma turns to Senri specifically and bows* Sorry for the inconvenience ma'am. I'm glad you stopped by regardless. *Finally Gamma looks at Pika and sighs* For convenience sake you should probably use cash, but now that someone with a rank is here you can bother him about the gold issue. *Gamma gestures to Parad's badge for emphasis*
*Puts both gold briefcases into pocket, and pulls out 2 normal briefcases, each filled to the brim with 1 million yen each*
Well... My mistake. At any rate, it's the standard version, so... My apologies. *Presents the game to Gamma with an apologetic bow* *The fox girl immediately catches her attention, but she doesn't say anything yet. Was that cosplay, she wondered?*
Ina
*walks up to the counter* Do you have any recommendations? I've been pretty bored.
¨Thanks for the book,¨ she told Gamma, putting the book back on the counter. ¨The plot was nice I guess.¨ and by that she meant she didn't care at all about the plot. Still sounds like a genuine ¨it's an ok book.¨ though because voice. "Anyawys, I gotta get going now, it's getting a bit late for my taste. Bye.¨ she said with her back turned, doing an idle waving gesture. Also, as she leaves, Gamma notices 1 yen on the counter. Think of this generous tip as, ¨I took a photo of you and that snake girl talking last night. You want me to show it to other people?". How pure-hearted she is.
*Tosses Gamma both of the briefcases* I'm sure 2 million yen will suffice, yeah?
Ooc: You remember me? Too bad, I'm leaving. Also, *Anyways.
*Parad sighs, bored* That's my quota for today so... *Parad clears his throat* "HE SAID IT WASN'T UP TO CODE SO WHY ARE YOU RETURNING IT!?" *Parad teleports away*
*Gamma shrugs and leaves the game* Alright, sorry for the inconvenience, but apparently we're not even supposed to have it, so maybe you can use that for something, I'd rather not deal with the headache. *Gamma turns to the fox girl and smiles* Well, that depends on the kinda games you like, there are all different sorts, if you already have a genre in mind that'd make things easiest, but I can work with ideas too. *Gamma doesn't notice the coin as he's fairly busy in the moment, instead sighing and turning to Pika* Well, its 12,868 Yen. So 2 mill is way more than enough. Just give me 13k or something so I can handle the change.
Ina
I mainly like RPGs, but I like to dabble in silly games too.
*Laharl bursts through the door* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA! It is I! The level 9,001 main character! *Laharl burns*
Eh? I can just have it then...? You have my gratitude. Erm... That probably doesn't mean much coming from someone who likes games like that though... *Smiles awkwardly*
Ina
*turns to laharl* ........you do realize that people can be above that, right?
Alright... Lets see.... Silly RPGs.... *Gamma types something into the computer, soon going into the back and coming out with a DS game* Alright, this is Disterra. Its a silly RPG in which you control a demon lord who ends up saving the world or something. He's not very heroic, but he's the protagonist, so that's what matters I guess. *Gamma turns to Senri with a smile* Its no problem at all ma'am. And really, your preference is nothing to be ashamed of. Really the shame is that it has to be hidden. But well, what can you do right? *Finally, Gamma looks at Laharl and gestures to the frozen blood* While you're using all that fire mind melting the ice and helping steam-clean the place? I'm sure nothing could go wrong from that.
*Gives him the money anyways* Keep the change. Now can I have my games?
Heh, I don't really try to hide it. Not anymore anyway. People will find ways to be cruel regardless. Once an outcast, always an outcast. *She smiles somewhat sadly* *Finding a reason to strike conversation with the peculiar fox girl, Senri speaks up* Um, I like RPGs too. There's this one I like about these four dragons and an evil emporer...
Ina
That sounds pretty silly. I'll take it! How much?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH! *The fire grows to immense heights and temperaturs, consuming all that touches it.*
Ina
*turns to senri* Oh, my favorites are RPGs that have four crystals of the elements. But I like to play others, too.
*Genm teleports in and shakes his head* Tsk tsk If it was about like half human half monster girls I would be more lenient about the rules *Genm stops for a moment and realizes he is leaking OOC feelings IC* GOOD THING NO ONE KNOWS WHO GENM IS YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME YO *Frantically teleports away*
Ina
Yay! Fire! *stands in the fire, somehow not getting her face burnt off* I like fire!
I think I know that one too. Maybe we can trade when we meet again? *Senri smiles, her focus going to Ina's tail...* The temperature is rising in here for some reason as well...
*On the plus side the blood is totally cleaned up by the fire.. Downside, so are the games it got on* Hey hey, tone it down a little. Damaging the merchandise there..... I don't even know what all has been lost now. *Gamma quickly turns to Pika and sighs* Normally I'd be suspicious, but I've got enough to worry about otherwise, I'd suggest taking the games quickly.
Ina
*from the fire* Sure! Oh, my names Ina, by the way. Nice to meet you! *smiles at senri*
*Takes the games and watches the fire* This usually doesn't happen right?
You can just... Dance in the fire? It's like that song! *Is impressed* My name is Senri. Senri Suzuko. I attend Shujin Academy... This place is quite "unique". I will come back, well, when I'm not shopping for odd games...
Ina
Oh, it's just that I'm a descendant of the fox spirits of the past. They mainly specialized in fire, so I'm used to it. It's also why I have these fox ears and this tail. *points to her fox ears and tail*
I wish I could claim that this was weird for me, but its not. My last three employment spaces exploded, and somehow the blame got passed to me. But I'm sure this time will be different. Right? *sigh* *Gamma notices the Disterra game he set on the counter and rings it up* Apparently, that's abou..... *Gamma looks up to Ina and shrugs* Alright then, well, I'll just keep this behind the counter for whenever you're ready.
Ina
*walks back to the counter, a small flame on her tail* Oh, almost forgot. How much?
Wait... Really? That's not cosplay...? Awesome. You're awesome. *Senri looks at Ina like she just found gold* Actually, you look like a character from this game!
Ina
*giggles at the compliment* Thanks! What game?
*Gamma puts a few numbers into the computer before turning back to Ina* Alright, says its about 3,215 Yen. Oh, and be careful with that fire. Don't want to break anything.
Ina
I'll be careful. *gives gamma 3500 yen* Keep the change, lavy. Mainly calling you that cuz I don't know your name.
*Gamma sighs and makes a show of shrugging* Name's Gamma, or at least that's what I usually ask people to call me. Lavy's alright too, at least I'll know you're referring to me when you say it. *Gamma slides the game over the counter and opens up the register, carefully counting out the 3,500 yen and putting it inside*
*Aitome walks into the store and notices all the fire, stunned for a second before sighing and walking up to the counter, speaking in an exhausted tone Hey Pinky... what's new?
This one! *She shows Ina "Monster Lover'* There's a foxgirl in it named Tamamo who is mostly a fox but walks like a human and she's descended from the ancient fox tribe that ruled Japan 2000 years ago but it's revealed in her route that she was actually the high priestess who was magically sealed and the protagonist has to help her come to terms with the shock and getting her memories back and... *She doesn't seem to be stopping...*
Ina
OK, thanks! *she grabs the game then looks back at senri* Oh, that's cool.
*Gamma sighs and shrug before looking up at Aitome* Name's Gamma. Still. But regardless, I haven't gotten much of anything yet. Or, well, rather, I've got a little lead on my side project, but nothing substantial. Oh yeah, and it looks like they're not going to fire me. Because they're worried about the unemployment rate. I guess that should make me feel special?
Is it? You should try it. You can recommend me something too.
Ina
Hmm..... If I had to reccomended something, that dungeons and dragons board game is fun. You have all these different character classes to chose from, no two characters are the same, the fun is infinite!
Radio waves are your name? You know I'm bad at this kind of stuff Radio... at any rate a side project hmm? Got something planned eh? *Aitome then smiles at the accidental pun, then noticing the fire again Um... are you sure you aren't gonna be fired? This entire place is up in flames...
Oh, that? I read that it was the basis for the entire RPG drama. I've never had anyone to play it with though...
Ina
I could play with you! I know a bunch of other people who would want to play, too! *her fox ears and tails wiggle a bit*
I.... You know what, I'll take it. Radio's fine. Anyways..... *Gamma finally looks around at the spreading fire* Yeah, I should probably do something about it. Feel free to join in, I know you have ice as well. Shiranui, Ice Age. *Gamma's persona roars into life and slowly spreads its sheet of ice towards the fire in order to put it out without damaging any of the games* As for my project, well, its nothing special really. With luck I'll know whether or not its a fool's errand tomorrow.
Oh? In that case... I hope to join you sometime! *Eyes Ina's tail as it wags*
Ina
Yay! Friendship! *cutely smiles*
*The ice melts into steam, as it is incredibly hot fire. Laharl then lies down and takes a nap*
Saeko walks into the store, slowly stepping around, glancing at the objects on the shelves, and the strangers gathered inside. She stares at some of the games with inquiry, scratching her head. "Hmm?"
Mm, you can count on me. *Aitome then jumps away from the fire and assumes a stance, eyes glowing icy blue as ice begins to spread from her feet, slowly but surely putting out the fire Well I hope you have luck, your not a bad person in my eyes after all, you got some good in you, trapped within layers of ice.
*Gamma waves to Saeko as him and Aitome are about halfway done putting out the fire with their solid water* Well.... You certainly came at an interesting time. Anything I can help you with? You know, as soon as this little outbreak's over with. *Gamma looks at Ai and shrugs* You know, no one's really bad, that's kinda a misconception. Still, how you see me doesn't bother me too much. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Sigh... *Aitome then facepalms and shakes her head, the ice still trying to beat back the flames as she speaks again You know... you could always just take the compliment, you make yourself sound allot worse than you are Radio, you helped out Leader after all.
Saeko looks over at Gamma and sighs. "The only help I would need would be to understand what exactly all of this is." She says while scratching her head.
*in short order the pair have the fire under control, Gamma breathes a sigh of relief* Well, that was troublesome. Regardless, oh boy. Looks like we're having this talk. I don't think I'm making myself sound any better or worse. Sure, I'm fairly nice most of the time, but for the most part I'm being polite. Being nice and being likable are two different things. Unfortunate that a lot of people can't split it up. *Gamma then turns to Saeko and briefly bows before gesturing to a shelf of undamaged board games* Well, these are all sorts of little games you can play, usually in a group, Each has their own unique set of rules to follow and can vary greatly from game to game. Fortunately they all come with instructions inside the box, and an overview outside.
"Hmm... I see. So they are a form of entertainment." She sighs. "I was never much one for games such as these. Though I was not a social person, so that likely isn't shocking.
*Gamma shrugs and looks at a few of the games* Well, everyone has their own tastes. Though its a bit more than just a social thing. Many of them are more personal, so you could use it as a chance for... I dunno, family bonding or something. Some of 'em can even be done alone if you wanted. All personal preference.
"Family bonding..." Saeko stares at the various games before turning around and... simply walking out of the store.
Sigh... you never do change, but I'll make sure you do, this cruel fate... ill change it with my own power! Hehe! You'll open up eventually. At any rate its time for me to go! Ill see ya! *Aitome then steps out, proud of the work she has done, waving before walking away.
Ina
Aww man, the fires gone.... *leaves because there is no more fire*
*Gamma watches Aitome walk out the store, blinking for a moment* Well.... That was... Weird.... Yeah.... Lets go with that. *Gamma looks down before looking down at his phone and noticing the time* Looks like its about time to close up. Oh well, It'll be here tomorrow. *Gamma walks around, cleaning up the mess left by previous customers. He gently picks up Laharl and sets him outside the Sega Saturn door as he locks the place up for the night*
*Gamma returns to the store and, after searching through his keys, finds one that fits the Sega Saturn. With a sigh, he opens the door, walks inside, and changes the sign to "open"* Alright, I may not have too long, but here we go.
*Falls through roof* Heyo! Oof... *Landed on a Sega Saturn box*
*Gamma sighs and waves to Pika* Please don't go crawling in the vents. I probably can't afford to replace those... Or, well, its not like this is my shop. I dunno how much money.... Dan.. That's his name. I dunno how much money Dan has.
Well, I just came here to look around. See if they got new stock.
New stuff? Well, I pretty much just got here myself, but I can check. *Gamma heads over to a computer near the counter* Video game department or board game department?
Both.
Lets see, last time you came in, you didn't buy any video games. So the "new stuff" would be.... Every game released on the Sega Saturn, and some of the more popular recent games. *after typing a few things into the computer, Gamma pulls up some board games* As for new arrivals there, we have Pandemic, a game about making a disease to destroy humanity.... Weird premise, but ok.
Isn't that a ripoff of Plague Inc?
Pandemic, the board game, came out first. But they're pretty much about the same thing. But one uses a board and cards while the other is online.
Huh...
Yeah, it's one of the weird things I guess. Not that it makes much of a difference, just a neat little quirk I guess
How about this? *Points at Persona 5* This game looks very familiar...
OOC: Motherfucker shitfuck kill me now.
OOC: why does that account even exist? *Gamma looks over at Persona 5 with a smile and sighs* Well, that's an interesting one. It's about a group of teenagers who rebel against authority and all that jazz. But of course, that's all fiction *wink*
OOC: The PM's is an interesting place. IC: Yeah, not convinced by the fiction part. I have a persona and met Akira Kurusu in person.
*Gamma sighs and shakes his head* That was supposed to be a sly reference to the fact it's very much real here, since we both know that fact. At least, I thought it was clever
OH YEAH! *Oh hey! The red man in a pitcher came crashing through your wall! Splashing kool aid all over your Sega Saturns, better hope they are water proof as they are drenched in sticky sweet kool aid! The pitcher then satisfied, runs out the way he came
*Drinks whiskey* Well... At least there's variety in the games now...
*Gamma looks over at the Kool-aid man and laughs* Doesn't he know? Old games were practically invulnerable. That's why there are still so many today.
