Amnesia
Akira knew he had changed for the better. His charisma, strength and bravery had improved but where has that changed gone? Akira noticed somethign had been off this morning. He felt as if His soul felt incomplete and it haunted him. While walking back from school, he had noticed a young girl getting harassed by some older men. Akira wanted to step by and stop the man but his feet carried him the other way. He ran away from a situation he knew he could handle. This was unlike him but why couldn't he carry out the act? Akira's mind chased its own tail as his thoughts spun in circles. His chest tightened up as he took quick, shallow breathes. Why was he so scared to stand up for someone else? Where has his motivation to change the future go? Did he even have that motivation in the first place? Akira tried thinking of his missing memory's cryptic message but stopped. He had passed by someone and a powerful pang of pain ran through his head. For a moment, he saw Ryuji on the ground and Kamoshida's voice ringing out something unintelligable but it caused Akira's heart to beat. The mental image caused Akira suddenly lose his breath. He gripped his chest and looked around for the cause of pain but his headache was starting to subside. Someone... Someone had his memory! Akira, with the sudden vigor to chase after the pain, started to run up and down each of the streets in search to find the missing pieces of his mind. The last puzzle piece. His soul.
EXTRA INFORMATION FOR THE RP: 1.) Nobody is aware of who has each other's memory. When people come close to their original memory, they feel an immense amount of pain while near the person who has their memory. Oringal memory holders have very, very brief flashbacks of their original memory. The person who has the missing memory cannot identify the original memory holder through the memory due tothe original memory holder's name being blanked out and also you can't see yourself in your memories. WHO HAS WHO'S MEMORIES Akira has Saeko's memory Saeko has Shadowgear's memory Shadowgear has Gamma's memory Gamma has Ikebu's memory Ikebu has Sam's memory Sam has Kazuya's memory Kazuya has Shinji's memory and finally, Shinji has Akira's memory
*A blonde man on a horse enters the scene* "I guess I'll have to postpone that horse race for another day." *The man notices Akira, and goes over to him* "Kid, are you OK?"
*Gamma, on the other hand, leaves his hotel room somewhat cheerier than normal. He knows something is wrong, but what, he's unsure of.... Gamma tries to think back, but gets nothing more than a headache. Gamma shakes his head and decides to move on. Hopeful that he can find something important.* I wonder..... I know some people have had issues remembering their home.... Perhaps its delayed? I..... I feel like I knew something.... Something important. But what..... *Gamma catches sight of Akira running down the street and waves to him* Excuse me. I don't mean to intrude, but you seem to be troubled. Care to tell me what's wrong?
OOC: Well, that was fast.
Ina
Ooc: effing E X P O S E D
(Does Gamma is wasp in disguise? Was this the big twist?)
His brain was no longer throbbing but it's aftermath was just as prevelant as the pain. The teen brought his index and middle fingers to either side of his head and rubbed his temple in a soothing circle to get the pain to subside. Akira took a deep breath and exhaled. Whatever the pain was, it was gone along with his memory but a man on a horse had appeared next to him. Akira looked the man up and down. Who the hell rode a horse around Japan? Gods, Westerners were wierd but at least he was kind enough to ask about his well being. Akira tugged on the strap of his messenger bag and sheepishly nodded his head. "Y-Yeah, I'm doing alright. Thank you for your concern." Akira gave the other a gentle, polite smile.
*Shinji walks through the area, his head aching* Great, first the hospital, then memory loss, now this.....
OOC, seems I messed up too *Shinji walks through the area, his head aching* Great, first the hospital, then memory loss, now this.....
*He gets off of his horse* "You don't look so well."
*Hanging out in the hall*
Ina
*walks around, noticing gamma, Shinji, and Akira having some pretty big headaches* Weird....
Hmm..... it started when I entered the area..... And the intensity seems to change when I move around.... *Starts walking around randomly, trying to figure out where the pain is coming from*
Akira maintained his friendly and polite smile. "Thank you for your concern. I've been having a lot of headaches lately." Akira explained. He kept a few important information to himself though. No need to spill his heart out to a stranger. "If you could reccomend me some medicine that would be-" Akira stopped midsentence as his hands gripped either side of his head once more. He let out a pained grunt as his eyes closed tightly. Another image flashed through his mind... A white plain mask with little sharp triangles around the eyes. Someone's voice had wrong out in his head but he couldn't make out who it was. It was definately someone he had not met before but yet... The voice tugged at his heartstings as if the voice was apart of him. Just as soon as it came, it was gone. Akira took deep breathes to recompose himself from the sudden pain and looked around for the possible source. Who was it? Who had his memory?
*I start walking downstairs*
*The man looks surprised* "Alright, you're not OK."
Are you sure you're going to be a.... *At that moment, Gamma feels a worse headache than normal.... He gets a flash of somethi.... No, Someone.... BUt who?* *Gamma turns to Akira, angrily* W.... Is this supposed to be contageous or something? What did you do? What ARE you doing?
OOC: questions, do I get a headache around the person with my memory? Or around the person who's memory I have?
OOC: The person who has your memory
Akira scrowled. "This is happening to me, too! What makes you think I'd want this to affect other people!?" Akira growled as he tried to calm himself down. Gamma was suffering along side with him. The only person who looked unaffected was Diego. Perhaps he was able to help if he wasn't in pain. Akira's pain finally subsided. He dragged his hand down his face before finally looking the other men in the eyes. "Gamma, you said you're in pain right? Are you... Missing a memory perhaps?"
"A memory? You mean, you lost your memories?"
*Gamma takes a deep breath and sighs, he winces for a moment, but is soon able to compose himself* I'm missing something. That's for sure.... I guess it could be a memory, as well... *Gamma weakly laughs* I don't really remember it. Just.... I felt something, a moment ago. Is that what these headaches are about? *sigh* I don't know why I'm asking you. Sorry if its getting on your nerves. *Gamma turns back to Diego and shrugs* I guess so. But well..... I can't remember obviously
Weird... why do i remember someone losing an arm? Get it together Ikebu you probably just hd a random thought
OOC oops *Suddenly Shinji realizes that he had a simple stress headache* Welp, that changes things.
*He turns to Gamma* "Hmm, what can't you remember?"
*Gamma sighs and shakes his head* Gee, if I knew that I wouldn't be having this problem, would I? That's kinda the point of being unable to remember stuff. Its nothing from here, that much I'm sure of.
"I think we might be missing something important," Akira said, speaking for the both of them. "It's something... I don't know... I had a run in with a harasser earlier and I know myself well enough to stand up to them but... I didn't." Akira sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. He sounded disapointed in his actions. "I can't find the motivation to stand up and change what's happening around me."
*He let's out a long sigh* "Well, I don't know what I can do to help you two."
Well.... For my part.... I... I guess I feel a little better actually. At least, well, normally I wouldn't be caught dead talking to you *Gamma quickly shakes his head and sighs* N.... Not that its a bad thing. Just.... Yeah. Guess its not important. Is there anything else, unusual, that you can think of?
