When Rep jumps into the fountain, he'd notice an interesting addition to its edge. Rows of pointed teeth. The fountain's eyes go wide with delight before its edges close up in a cartoonish manner in an attempt to eat him.
Emerald, Sapphire, and Amethyt all seem a little shocked at this development, but are quick to recover. Sapphire nods back to Primarina, and takes a deep breath
Sapphire: Its a monster called a Witch, long story short it had an.... "egg" of sorts in the fountain, that's what we were trying to keep you safe from. I... I'm not much for attacking, so I'll leave it to Emerald and Amethyst, they're used to this stuff.
Emerald turns to address Marisa, dragon-slaying.... Well, she's seen some odd things, sure, dragon, why not.
Emerald: I don't think these things are smart enough for that... Though, I've never seen two alike, so I guess some might be good at killing dragons.
Amethyst glares back at Izumi, so she does know about Magical Girls, well, they're not the only ones around, so it makes sense. Amethyst sighs and keeps her eyes behind the fountain. A pair of gauntlets and boots materialize on her wrists in a flash. That snake-thing, isn't really her problem after all. She addresses Izumi
Amethyst: High-school drama, seriously? That's what you think this is about? You kinda asked for this, just don't get in my way and it'll all be fine, got it? I dunno what the hell you're sayin' about a furball, but its kinda obvious you don't get what's goin' on, oldie.
Finally, the moment they had been waiting for arrived. Before Emerald can move to help Rep,
a shadow emerges from behind the fountain. Its humanoid in shape, but has many rabbit-like features, such as large ears and whiskers. It stretches inhumanly, the kind of stretching that only happens in cartoons, before letting out a childish laugh.
Almost as though it were a command, the three nearby benches and four trees come to life, eyes glaring at the group, though none of them make an aggressive motion yet. Emerald takes the chance to dash between Hifumi and the rabbit-like monster
Emerald: I don't really care if you want our protection, you're getting it. That's part of my job. Its why I tried to get these idiots to go away earlier, but there's nothing for that now, is there?
The blonde girl looks at Homura, slowly recovering from her surprise. She takes a deep breath,
slipping her own silver ring off her finger
Blonde: N.... no, I'll be fine... Just... Its kinda my second time. T... Thank you.
The girl bows before remembering the whole, monster situation. Wasting no further time, a faint silver light engulfs the girl, changing her own outfit into a long, flowing, silver, ruffled dress. With Homura blasting the familiars in front of her, the clothing racks begin to melt, giving the girl a chance to dash through them towards the door
Blonde: T... Thank you again. I... My friends are probably waiting, I shouldn't keep them.
