Nexus Literature Club
As the spring was starting to settle, there were posters around the town about a literature club being formed by the nearby school. The poster itself had "simplistic", yet big and clear handwriting on it. It read: Hello All! My name is Natsuki and I'm making a literature club where you can read and write poems, improve on your writing, talk about books, and basically anything that is literature related. If your interested, come talk to me in the classroom on the 2nd floor after school. Hope to see you all~ P.S. Cupcakes will be there too so hop on by if you're hungry! Natsuki was in the classroom where the literature club is suppose to meet. She is the president and only member as of now, but with a sense of hope that she had inside her tiny and warm heart, people will start coming. When she got done setting down the cupcakes, she looked inside the closet of where she kept her 100 volumes of her favorite manga series, Parfait Girls. *whistles*....... Now that I have the cupcakes set up, I can finally start continue on where I left off. She grabbed volume 55 of Parfait Girls. She sat under the window with the manga that was beside the closet. She opened the manga and started to read adventures of the Parfait Girls, Alice and Minori, while waiting for anyone interested in joining her club.
A young man with brown hair and piercing blue eyes would walk up to the classroom's entrance with a slightly tired expression. He'd take a moment to look around as he was curious what a literature club exactly was about. "So...uh, this is like a book club or something. I'm normally not interested in stuff like this but anything to take a break from training." With that he'd enter the room and begin raising his voice a little but not much as he didn't seem to want to put too much effort into speaking either. "Hello? Anyone here? This is a club or something, right?" It seemed as if Quintus somehow didn't see the girl sitting by the window.
As Natsuki was reading the manga, she heard Quintus voice echoing in the classroom. She jumped up a little as she was focused on her manga that she didn't pay attention to her surroundings. She got up and saw Quintus standing in the classroom. She dusted her self off, and walked to him. Hello sir. Welcome to the Literature club. I'm guessing you're only here for the cup- She stopped herself as she didn't want to sound rude as it. Uuuhhh, I mean from the posters around town?
The next person to arrive is much more... loud with his entrance. He roughly shoves the door open in a way that makes himself seem more dramatic (or so he thinks) and enters, his backpack slung over one shoulder. "I have arrived! This is the place for the Organization of Ancient Texts, is it not?" His entire outfit is odd, with bandages on his body and left eye and some cross-shaped jewelry. At... least he seems really excited about this?
He'd finally notice Natsuki as she walked up to him. He felt a little ignorant for not having seen her before. "Uh, yeah. I kind of wanted to know what exactly a literature club does. I've never actually had the chance to join one before but I've always kind of liked writing even if only to help get my thoughts out properly." He'd feel a bit strange talking about his hobbies so casually but regardless knew this would be the only way he could get the information he needed before he made any decisions about this club.
A quiet revving of a motorcycle can be heard outside the building. It comes down to a peaceful rumble, then stops entirely. Shortly following, a leatherclad youth enters the classroom, carrying himself in a quiet manner. He glances about the room, but doesn't say much. This... is the literature club, yes? He turns a medium sized book over in his hands, making sure it's clear of dust. Other than that he simply stands with a calm look in his eyes waiting for a response.
As she was done talking to Quintus, she heard a loud noise coming from the blue haired boy. Excuse for me one moment while I talk to him. You can have cupcakes if you want to. She walked towards the boy. Hello there. Welcome to the Literature Club. I'm Natsuki. While giving a cutesy smile towards him. So anyway, the "Organization of Ancient Texts"? Uhhh, if your here for some history, then this isn't the club. But if you're talking about old literature from a long time ago, then you came to the right place. You can have cupcakes too as well. After she was done talking to the blue haired boy, she went to Makoto and reached out her hand. Hello there. I'm Natsuki! Nice to meet.

"Ah, yes, 'Literature Club' is what it said on the poster, but it is much more than just that! A chance to look into other worlds! A- did you say cupcakes?" Anghel picks one up, examining it. His uncovered eye gleams with excitement. "Such a gracious gift! May good fortune come to you for this!" It's probably his odd way of saying "thanks" as he bites into the cupcake. His Japanese is a bit odd, so it's possible he's foreign. It could just be him being his odd self, though.
Makoto hesitantly takes the handshake. Shortly after he sticks his free hand back into his pocket. My name is Makoto. It's a pleasure. With some short words, he'd cast his eyes about at the room. They seem to be filled with intrigue. If I may... what type of literature does this club work with?
After shaking Makoto's hand, she responded to his question. Well, we don't specifically focus on one type of literature. This club focuses on any type of literature in general. So, if you feel like sharing a novel, sharing a poem, or whatever you feel like doing as long as close to literature, then go for it. She pointed at the cupcakes she had on the table. Your welcome to have cupcakes to if you want some.
Makoto nods. Though his expression seems rather stale. Thank you. I haven't had much since my arrival here. Makoto takes his hand out of his pocket to reach for a cupcake, but an object looking like a tiny ball falls out of his pocket. He hurriedly rushes to retrieve it, and then attempts to take a cupcake like nothing happened. He takes a small bite, and his eyes widen. It's... quite good!
It felt weird heading to a school that wasn't her own, let alone voluntarily, but that's how the cookie crumbles. Senri hoisted an edgy looking black bag with a skull on it over her shoulder as she entered the room. She raised a hand and spoke loudly and informally. Oi! this is the literature club thing, yeah? Her eyes peered around the room as she asked.
"Ah, I nearly forgot!" The boy puts the cupcake wrapper in the trashcan and sets his backpack down. "I am Anghel Higure, Fallen Angel of Judecca! ...And I look forward to sharing stories with all of you." Anghel tries to look serious, but can't hide his smile. His enthusiasm, while a bit overboard, is somewhat infectious.
Natsuki responded to Makoto. Why, thank you.~ After she said that, she notices a girl with a black bag coming into the room. Her eyes shined a little as she saw her. She walked up to her and said. Hi there! Welcome to the Literature Club. I'm Natsuki! After she said that, she whispered to her: Finally, we have two girls in the club. Would of been weird if I were to only one but that's besides the point. She returned to her normal voice. Anyway, you can have some cupcakes if you want to. She looked at Anghel for a moment and said. There ya go, that's the enthusiasm we need.
Not knowing what to make of his ample free time, Kazuo decided that it would be best if he got back into studying for once. All he knew, all he could ever do was entirely linked to what he could understand, for "If you can understand it, then you can probably replicate it", that was his motto, even if the "probably" part wasn't of his liking. "Once I know all there is to know in a single life, that word should disappear." He makes his way inside of the classroom with a single book in hand and a big backpack on his back. Kazuo looks around and noticed some...kind of peculiar individuals, people he would only see in an anime or manga, which is interesting given the smaller girl's read. Without wanting to lose much time and waving with big smile on his face, he tries to get people's attention. "Hey! Figured I should say hi first if everyone came here to check. My name is Kazuo Fabian, it's a real pleasure."
Senri smiled at Natsuki. What a small cutie, she thought. She'd come to like this place. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Natsuki-chan~ if we're only going by given names, you can just call me Senri then! Senri mischievously winks at Natsuki and leaned in, speaking quietly. Yeah, I was expecting more girls too. But don't worry, I got your back~ She leaned out and returned to her normal tone. Wow, is this what lured the calvary in? don't mind if I do then. Senri dropped her back by the entrance and walked over and grabbed a cupcake. It didn't matter what flavor it was, food was food. She took a bite, eating carelessly, causing a bit of frosting to coat her cheek. She leaned against the desk and scouted the room. So, what do you got here? I'm not picky, so there's bound to be something great here. Anything to recommend orrr? Senri waves to Kazuo from a distance. Oi! I'm Senri Suzuko. I'm just an ordinary high schooler. Well, mostly.

Natsuki noticed the loud presence made by Kazuo. She look at him with a small smile that had a little fang sticking out of it. She walked to him, making tiny, yet loud steps as she does Hello there! I'm Natsuki! Welcome to the Literature Club. You can relax for right now and talk to the others but I'm going to set something so I'll be right back. She walked out of the classroom and went towards her locker where she had a poem written just in case if people started to show up.
(edited by Natsuki)
Anghel nods in greeting to the newcomer. "Welcome! I, Anghel Higure, welcome you into our world of literature!" He bows, then decides to take a look around the room. Books of all kinds could be here! He eventually notices the manga section in the corner. "Hm, yes... I could learn from this..." He stares at the rows of books for a while.
Senri waved Natsuki out and took a seat... on top of the desk. She looks at the various shelves for anything that peakes her interest. Manga, political theory, classic and modern lit, the whole deal. The manga was obvious, atleast... She wonders if they had any of her favorite manga, Hanahime Senki...
"I see people here have a warm and casual way of talking to others, I have to admit I expected the stereotypical bookworm kind of deal, however..." Kazuo quickly moves towards a nearby desk and lays against the back of his seat with one hand inside of his right pocket and with his book open on his left. The back of the book could be clearly seen now, and it read "Thus Spoke Zarathustra". Still looking at the book and reading through it, he moves to the next page and speaks up once again. "...I think I was wrong. I can see I will learn plenty in this place, and hopefully Miss Natsuki can bring interesting subjects as you all, I will try to do my best in that regard." Moving to the next page, Kazuo yawns.
As soon as Natsuki got back with her poem, she went to the front of the classroom and said in a very loud, yet squeaky voice that some "sass" into. Okay, so it looks like everyone is settled in already. Sooooo, what I'm thinking we should do is we should all write a poem and share it with everyone. This sounds very, very scary; trust me, I had the same feeling as some you of guys. So, I'm going to ease up the tension and read off my poem first. She clears her throat out read from the poem: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/341412284020686848/419682725184798741/page1.PNG https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/341412284020686848/419682759515308032/page2.PNG Btw, this was a real poem I wrote for a contest but didn't win. If you have actually poeam you want to post that you "wrote", then go for it.

Makoto applauds to the recital, but doesn't offer much in terms of criticism or praise. Instead, he opts to investigate the shelf with manga on it. He picks out a small manga, clearly meant for children, and opens to a random page. His hard expression seems to have cracked a gentle smile. Though he quickly places it back upon the shelf. He takes his own book, and flips through random pages. He takes a seat and begins to read quietly to himself.
Senri was moved by Natsuki's poem. It changed her expression from her carefree look to one of reflection and sadness... That could have been her, if Mona didn't return to her side... Natsuki-chan must have been through a lot too. That's... That's great, Natsuki-chan. I think you touched a part of me... Maybe we're kinda similar... I have something I wrote too, but it's in my bag. I never really read it to anyone before though... It's more, a reminder to myself. which probably doesn't make sense. But, I can read it, when you're ready for it.
After Natsuki read off her poem, she walked off the stage. She noticed the words coming out of Senri and said. Oh really? To be honest, this wasn't the best poem I've written but it was something. I wrote this after. She stopped and got some terrible memories she had back in her old Literature club. She can still remember the horrors that the "brown-haired freak" had did to them. Sorry for spacing out there. If you have a poem to share, then you are welcome to share it.

Anghel claps politely. His whole attitude seems dulled and solemn as he mulls over the poem in his head. It takes him a minute to actually remember to speak. "A wonderful poem, Leader. I feel I should let the river of prose fall onto lined parchment next time I come..." In other words... he's considering bringing a poem next time.
Kazuo claps around 5 times in a kind of lazy way, closing his book and leaving it on top of the desk right after marking the page he was in. Eyes closed, he analyzed the poem. Regardless of his thoughts on theme and dislike over romanticism, he spoke his mind. "It's not bad at all, but it doesn't sound much as a poem and rather a small piece of narration. That's my opinion at this moment because I actually lack any technical knowledge on poems. But..." Pulling out a small notebook from his backpack and a pencil, he slowly begins to write. "Since you had the courage to recite it, I hope you don't mind if I do that in a minute or two with a little something, I just need to write it." [i]Not once did he look at anyone else in the group while saying this, and now that he was deep in thought, along with his swift pencil movements, he didn't seem like he could get di
Senri nodded and stood up, walking over to the entrance where she left her bag. She picked around for something for a few seconds before pulling out a small black notebook. She hopped up on one of the classroom desks and turned a page to begin reading. Her tone was more serious than her previously carefree tone as she read. To change the world, I had to have had my own glastnost. To rise, and fall, And rise again. Idealism is blind, And so was I, Like the crimson east. Today, I redesign. Tomorrow, I will stand on the edge of the revolution, With your wisdom. No one can save the world but ourselves, Tomorrow, we reclaim. Redesign, Rebuild, Reclaim this world, With clear eyes, With ego, And with liberty.
After Natsuki heard her say those words, she was amazed on what she said. She was thinking to herself that Senri had a hard time dealing with society and wanted to do something about it. Natsuki clapped her hands after Senri was done reading.
Sayori sits against the wall right by the door to the room and she carefully listens to each poem being shared. To hear poetry made by others is a wonderful experience for her elicting a constant feel of happiness. In front of her is a sheet of paper with her a working of her own, but she would rather listen for better understanding.
Makoto gets up from his chair, but seems a tad indifferent. As though the poems didn't even come close to resonating within him. Before he leaves through the door, he makes sure he has his belongings. I apologize if this sounds blunt, but I'm afraid this club wasn't what I had in mind. Thank you for the cupcakes, but I don't plan on coming again. Don't think it so through any fault of yours, I guess I'm just not one for poetry. After he leaves, a motorcycle starts up, and rumbles away swiftly.
Natsuki saw Makoto left the room and heard his response Awwww.... Well I can't stop him for liking poetry~. Anyway, nice job Senri. Soooo, who's next?
(Suddenly, a 7'3 snake centipede hybrid comes outta nowhere) Ah...poetry...I am related to the great Robert burns, a famous poet, so, why not I join?
Cue Anghel throwing a chair at the centipede, hopefully knocking him out of the window with a battle cry of "Begone, BUG!" He then sighs and sits down. "That man in a centipede costume has no place here."
After a quick nod at the young man's departure, and bowing at Senri as a sign of appraisal, he moves forward with a white piece of paper in hand. His face seemed calm and his eyes cold, a quick look at this one's face would reveal a strange expression, similar to the scorching of earth or a war raging in the distance. Clearing his throat, he hold his piece of paper with nothing but his thumb and index finger.
At the center of beginning it burns. With incandescent passion the King of old arose. Holding the manuscript in one hand. His sword in its sheath. Like a pencil, it cut down the irregularities; Flaming realities; It waited for it to revolt underneath. At the center of beginning it questions thee: "Why must you seek?" He answers: "For it is all mine, and it all bows down to my heed" Radical and extremist opression, he tears it down. For all he touches and sees, it's his. At the center of beginning it burns. With incandescent passion the Seeker of now arose. Holding the manuscript in one hand, He now owns this land.
Senri blinks at Makoto as he exits. Her previous mood seems to have returned. Wow, what's up his ass? Senri shrugs and nods to Natsuki before putting her notebook in her pocket and stepping away to go sit down on the desk next to Natsuki. Thanks. Yours was great too... I lost someone once, like in your poem... They came back, but I know not everyone gets lucky like that... I'll have your back if anything happens though, alright? As Kazuo reads his own poem, Senri seemed moved... She felt a chill on her neck. The presentation and wording, it was superb. It reminded her of what she's been through and what she fights for as well... She smiles and claps her hands hearnestly. Fucking awesome! I totally loved that. Those oppressors won't do anything with us around~

(He then falls outta the window, but comes back outta nowhere) As I was saying, here is one of him many poems: O my Luve's like a red, red rose That's newly sprung in June; O my Luve's like the melodie That's sweetly play'd in tune. As fair art thou, my bonnie lass, So deep in luve am I: And I will luve thee still, my dear, Till a' the seas gang dry: Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear, And the rocks melt wi' the sun: I will luve thee still, my dear, While the sands o' life shall run. And fare thee well, my only Luve And fare thee well, a while! And I will come again, my Luve, Tho' it were ten thousand mile. Robert Burns That one was called "a red red nose"

"How are you not gone?!" Anghel, chair in hand, tries his best to shoo the monster out of the room. That's the narrator's cue to leave, since he'll probably chase Rep down the halls for a while.
Natsuki looked at Senri with some happiness filling her eyes. Thank you. Even though my friends Sayori and Yuri are gone, they are in a better place now. She then paid attention to Kazuo's poem. For a moment, she was trying to figure out what was he saying due to the amount of "big words" he used in his poem. She clapped for him after he was done. Bravo! I'm thinking that this poem had something to do with Tryanny? Sorry if your poem was meant to mean something else, but I like the how the words were used properly. She listened to Rep's poem, which startled her for a second, but she listened anyway. After Rep was done talking, she said to him. Hmmm, nice job. Wasn't expecting something from a... bug? Sorry if I offended you with that, but I like how you use some old language in the poem.
Thank you. Thank you all, and I apprentice the praise, also, pink hair, I am not offended, but, just call me rep (He then looks over at anghel) I cause you no harm...so do not worry

"I believe the word you are looking for is "Tyranny", my dear. And this poem has no actual set meaning besides the way I interpret it." Kazuo goes back to the place he was sitting at and opened up his book once more. Clearing his throat once more, he keeps speaking. "I just mashed words that felt right together, and I interpret them as..." For the first time in minutes he looks up at where Natsuki was sitting. His eyes may seem a bit too intense when looking straight at them, almost as if they were studying everything they gazed upon, reaching out to the very souls of people. Of course this was not literal in any way. He chuckles a bit at his sudden idea of him literally touching somebody's soul with his deep and intense eyes. "Ambition."
She starts giggling to herself after he mentioned her typo of "Tyranny". Hahahaha, sorry. I'm just a bit tired today. I stayed up too late reading some manga. Anyway, does anyone here want to share their poem? She looked all around the room, seeing who wants to come up next.
(He then turns around, and sighs) Of course. I do have two of my own poems, and i shall speak both: GAS as gas from thy living come and go, thy dead shall suffer, and may so, thy living And my second one: ROPE Rope is used to save Rope is used to climb to the house in the clouds Rope is used to sin Rope is used to hang ...what do you think?
(edited by Reperzel)
Natsuki went silent for a moment after hearing the two poems read. So Rep? ............................................................................................. Are you feeling okay? Normally, people who write poems express how they are in their poems but based on what you wrote, uh exucuse my language, but it sounds like you've gone through some shit. I think you need some help here Rep.
Oh, pink hair...if I told ya I've been through a small amount of stuff...that will be the biggest understatement of the year,
[A young woman in a blue kimono and red leather jacket walks through the doors, she'd look around curiously at the place... A book club huh? She's not much of a writer or a reader, but maybe it'll be a decent way to kill some time? If nothing else, she might at least find somebody to fight, if she's lucky. With that, the woman would walk into the room proper and examine the people present, a girl with pink hair, younger than her by a few years. Rep. And some other people... Eh, she can't be bothered to check out everyone, instead, Shiki simply walks up the snake-thing and Natsuki, she'd wave at them and speak in a slightly bored and rude sort of voice.] "So, what all's going on around here anyway? I'm not that big on books or anything, but geez I'm just looking for anything to do lately ya know?"
After she was done talking to Rep, she see'e a woman wearing a red leather jacket. She walks up to her and says. Hello there. My name is Natsuki and welcome to the Literature Club. We were just done reading off our poems we wrote so you're more then welcome to write your own and read it to us, or you can relax and grab a cupcake. Either way, you can just enjoy yourself here for now.
Senri chose not to pay Rep too much mind. If she does, she risks losing her sanity. She waves to the new girl. Oi! We're just forming a counter culture. You can join us if it's okay with the missus, which seems like it is. Welcome aboard!
[Poems huh... Not really her style, and sweets are... Oh who is she kidding, damned Mikaya and his ice cream, they're not as bad as she often acts, to say the least.] "I see, well I guess I am a bit hungry, as for poems... Eh, not really my style. Besides, knowing me anything I write is gonna turn out damn weird at best." [With that, she'd walk over to the cupcakes and take one, a casual bite of it and... Not bad, much to part of her self's chagrin. Either way, she glances up from her food toward the brown-haired girl that's greeted her.] "Counterculture eh? Wouldn't know much about that, but I guess I do kinda just do whatever strikes my fancy, so if not caring what anyone but yourself thinks counts, I guess you could say I'm a bit like that."
(He then simply sighs, and suddenly falls to ground) ...I'm sitting down here now....deal with it.
I'm getting pretty tired right now so I'm going to sleep. I might continue this tomorrow but I'm not sure yet, but you'll see it eventually. Good night.
I mean, just that attitude makes you part of it, I think. Question everything, take shit from nobody, hold your self and whoever you care about first. I think we're all gonna be good friends in this club~ OOC: Last post. Night bubba
[Hmm, that does sound like Shiki in fact... Heh, if nothing else this girl might well be someone she can respect. Wonder if she'd be able to cope with the eyes?] "Yeah, that's me alright. Ya know, you've vaguely got the look a someone who's been in a few fights, how'd you lose the eye anyway?" [She can't but be curious about such a thing, and if there's anything Shiki does happen to truly enjoy, it's violence after all.]
Senri chuckled. That was an understatement. She couldn't brag about her accomplishments though, not in front of people she just met. Who knows what they'd think. Yeah, I've gotten into some trouble. Living on the edge in Tokyo~ I guess you could call me a deliquent. I used to hate the label, but I don't really mind anymore. It's better than being a pushover who just follows the narrow path that society expects you to... I don't wanna live like that. Not anymore. Senri nods as if reaffirming herself. Senri's eye widened as she was asked a question she's not asked often. She smiles and chuckles it off, however, and moves her hair away from her eye, showing the eyepatch in all its glory. This? well... As you could guess, I got into some trouble. I got in a fight, and well... You can use your imagination. It's my punishment for being weak and making some bad decisions. I kinda just adapted to seeing out of one eye, but two definitely made things either, ahaha.
[There's a slight smile on Shiki's face as she looks the girl over, a fight eh? Now she's gotten far more curious about this girl. She'd stand up and beckon the girl over toward her as she begins walking off, she's not overly concerned with keeping them secret, but she doesn't care how the others will react to her eyes either... Senri though, this one has piqued some interest.] "I see, well since you said that much I guess I'll show you something about myself. Most people would flee in terror after this bit, so I'm curious to see if you've got a stronger stomach than that Senri." [As she slowly walks off, she'd find an empty classroom at some point no doubt. She's been moving slowly enough for the other girl to follow fairly easily and assuming Senri kept up with her, Shiki would close the door upon the other girl walking into the room.] "Hmm... I've done some stupid stuff myself really, though I guess in my case, it ended both better and worse than it did for you. This is the good part of it though." [There's a smirk on the woman's face as her eyes turn an unearthly blue glow, she'd stare into Senri's face and as she does so the other young woman would no doubt feel as if she's looking straight at death itself, in some ways that is entirely the case after all. Either way, how Senri reacts comes down to her, Shiki would just smirk and stare at the girl curiously, wondering how she'll handle these eyes.]
Senri closely followed Shiki in deep morbid curiosity. She wondered what she was getting into with this girl, for a moment atleast. Consequences can come later. Senri's expression tensed as she Shiki began to... reshape. Not physically, but in aura. Her eyes reflected death itself. There was a beauty to them, but also a sense of urgency fueled up in Senri. Like all of her emergency switches were coming on. Regardless, she herself smiles. Senri's hand was on a sheath tied to the back of her jeans. Senri's lines were numerous, particularly around her skull, heart and stomach, but they seemed to blur more than the typical target, and they seemed to become more thin as Senri became more alert. Is that a power you have? your eyes, your smile says you want to kill me... I ask you, however, do wish to press your luck, not knowing who I am or what I can do? perhaps you move quick, but you don't seem so foolish to rush into a situation without the necessary information. But we're both sensible girls, aren't we? we have nothing to gain from killing each other... I'm sure it's more fun to see someone more deserving bleed. Senri spoke in a much different tone from her earlier carefree attitude and loose manner of speech. It was a lot like a certain someone who was on TV several months ago...
[The girl would burst out laughing, wow she's aware enough to even see that burning desire to kill? That boy she showed them to the other day didn't even notice, not in a way that he could actually put it into words at least. Even as she thinks the girl's hand is reaching for a knife she keeps hidden in her jacket, yet the girl's would bring a light pause to her. Knife simply hanging in her hand rather than darting toward the thin lines across Senri's body.] "Wow, you really are something else aren't ya Senri... Not quite scared at all, more like ready? Hmm, if I didn't know any better I'd say you and I are cut from the same cloth in some ways, how many lives have you ended?" [The girl stows her blade in her jacket once more, and suddenly the aura of death inside her eyes would vanish, appearing simply as their normal color rather than the power she'd shown mere moments ago.] "Yeah, honestly I wasn't really gonna kill you regardless... Not because I don't want to, that'd be a blatant lie frankly. But rather because I do hold myself to something of a code, I try not to kill people when I don't need to, if there's nothing to gain from it I shouldn't. Just about being practical right? Don't need to get too much attention, and I get the sense you know all about staying under the radar for some reason." She'd walk away from the girl, having been nearly pressing Senri up to the wall for a bit. At this point, however, she walks to a desk and simply leans back against it, giving the young woman she'd just admitted to wanting to murder a slightly friendly and casual look.
I've actually killed no one. Are you surprised~? well, at least directly. I believe there will be a time when I will do what must be done, however... The tension releases from Senri's body and she stops reaching for the blade holster on her jeans. Whatever was there was gone now. A kindred spirit, Senri felt. Rather, she chuckled it off and leaned against the wall, looking to Shiki as she spoke, returning to her previous casual tone. Oh, so you wanted to kill me after all? perhaps that would have actually been a troublesome situation. Granted, if you killed someone like me, there aren't a whole lot of people who would notice. People like me have always been on the fringe of society. I don't know what you do, or where you come from, but quite frankly, those skills you have are handy. Perhaps we have similar goals... As for me, I just want to ensure a fair world and take down a troublesome system, along with the people running it... Do you feel the same?
[Changing the world? It's not a bad goal, not really her style... But there's something about this girl that reminds her of herself, even if it is a bit strange that she's never killed anybody before.] "Nobody would notice huh? Well, I'm the same in this world, back home... There are a few people who'd care if I got killed, my family's pretty rich, but they wouldn't be that broken up. My boss though, well she's a damned weirdo to be sure, but that one has always looked out for me if nothing else." [As for wanting to kill people...] "I want to kill quite a few people, the thought of sinking my blade into any given person I meet crosses my path if I'm being honest. But, there's not much fun to be had if somebody isn't strong. And even I draw the line somewhere, "Murder" is fine, but a "Slaughter"? Now that's another story." [Either way, time to address the girl's last point here... She's asking for help, in a subtle way to be sure, but Senri clearly thinks Shiki can do her some good, and she's not really seeing the downside to such a thing if this girl does half of what Shiki is thinking she does.] "I'm not about making the world better or fair, not really sure how much I care about anything. But... There "Those who I can be with", and "Those I cannot be with", this little talk seems to put you in the former category, and moreover, you just might be in that rare spot of someone whom I actually like inside said category. What I'm saying is, I'd be willing to lend my blade here and there, so long as there's a strong foe to fight and kill I'm pretty happy at the end of the day after all." [Shiki would offer her hand to Senri, there's a feral smirk on the woman's face as she stares into... She's not sure what to kill Senri yet, new friend? Perhaps, but maybe not. Bah, such labels don't really matter, in the end, she's just willing to offer her blade, now to see how it plays out.]
You're an interesting one. You don't follow any path set before you, or bend to some doctrine or the whims of others... You know who you are and you do what you like. You're a killer. And to be honest? this world needs killers. Direct ones, who will do what is necessary. There have been those without real strength committing more subtle genocides throughout history... But you're different. You are infallibly cruel and know what you fight for. You have a place in my world, if nowhere else. Senri smiles and nods. I'm glad we see eye to eye. Indeed, the personal relations of the individual supercede all... Unfortunately, there are things that wish to hinder those relations and minimize growth; that's what I aim to erase. I can't guarantee that all of the enemies I can promise you are "strong", but trust me, destroying these powers will benefit us both in the end. Likewise, if you are ever out looking for a bad time, I'll be sure to join you~ pleasure to meet you... By the way, I'm Senri Suzuko. I very much look forward to the future~ Senri smirks, wearing a similar expression to Shiki's but one with more honest mischief than ferality. She shakes her hand. This was bound to be quite the interesting relationship...
[The girl's grin doesn't vanish as she lets go of Senri's hand, not being to the whims of others or laws... Yeah, this girl gets it. She understands to at least some extent, that there's a hell of a lot more to life than just trying to fit in, or trying to please the people around you, or any of that other crap Japan loves to talk about so much. In the end, Shiki, and seemingly Senri, only really care about themselves and the few people they've formed some kind of bond with. Do what you wish, and to hell with the rest of it.] "I see... I'm not one who knows that much about politics or anything, but I know just enough to say that some of the crap that goes on pisses me off. If you're gonna kill someone, then have the guts to do it your damn self with a blade in your hands, not by hiding behind an army or some crap. Genocide is never done by anyone who understands that idea. As for me being a killer... Yeah, you've got that down pretty quick, and it's nice to meet somebody who's not cowering in fear upon understanding that idea!" [The girl would begin walking over to the door, she'd look toward Senri one last time and pause... That blade the girl wears, wonder if she's any good with it? Too late to find out now, but she'd like to see it in action someday, might even bother to impart some of her knowledge.] "Heh, yeah I'd say our views are pretty alike in some ways. You're more of a visionary than someone like me if I had to guess, but you've sure as hell got a lot of it down. As for my name... Shiki Ryougi, and I'd say that feeling is mutual Senri~ Oh and one of these days, you gotta show me how you do with that sword, I'm actually pretty damn good with em myself so I might just teach you a thing or two about them. Anyway, I'm sure we'll see each other around!" [With that, the girl begins walking out of the room with a smile on her face. For the first time since coming here, Shiki's feeling as if she might have actually met someone she's glad to have spoken with in more than just the sense of being mildly interested in them. Either way, she's gone for now... But she'll be sure to keep an eye out for this girl, something tells her it'll be a fun little relationship here.]
A bank of fog would roll in around the school. Moments pass and it clears up to reveal a man looking up at the building with a malevolent grin. "This is perfect. I was curious what I'd do with you after you hatched, Bookworm." The man speaks down to a strange creature that wriggled about in his right hand. "Those fools played right into my hands this time. Now to find a host for you..." The fog rolls in once more as the man allows himself an overly cartoonish evil laugh. The fog parts again and the man is gone.
After she offered the woman in the red leather jacket some cupcakes, she saw that her and Senri left and started heading towards the empty classroom. Curiosity got the better of her and so, she left the club room and followed the two, mainly due to worrying about Senri's safety as she was talking to someone who looked more like an "edgy" teenager. She saw the two enter the classroom, so she went behind the other side of the door, trying to listen in on what their saying. When they finished talking, she was shocked on what she just heard. Senri, who looked like an innocent school girl turned out to be some murder, but she does is it do some "good", so this did not made Natsuki hate her, but envy her. On the other hand, Shiki, the edgy teenager, confirmed her suspicions as something far "worse". When she saw that their done talking, she quickly walked to the club room and went inside, pretending that she didn't hear their conversation.
*Germany poped out of a random corner and faces Natsuki, beginnin to violently yell at her* Hey, you, were you just easedropping on someone's private conversation! I can't believe kids these days! Do you have no manners! Back in the war we would never listen in on our enemies! Why can't you young kids be more like us instead of running around like hooligans! Instead, you choose to waste your time being deceitful and backstabbing and gossiping little punks! Blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah. *It was at this point that everyone began to tune Germany out*
