A Peaceful Night
There wasn't really anything special about tonight, not in the typical manner anyways. The cool breeze feels nice after such a warm and bustling day. In spite of how late it might seem, a young, blonde girl roams the night, peering into alleyways as she heads on her way. Though many people are bringing their day to a close, for now, the girl walks into the subway station, as though ready to simply begin.
*A young girl with a hat on her head was sitting on a bench waiting for the subway to arrive* *Hat Kid looked around the subway as she waited*
A man enters. he is clad in full golden armour and is holding a gun around like theres nothing wrong
A man similar to tatsuya but wearing a pair of shades and a suit walks through the area with his hands on his pockets and his gun holstered under his coat and he pulls out a cellphone to check the time and then puts it away and walks into the subway station
6 sees katsuya and totally mistakes him for tatsuya and tosses a gun to him
*Hat Kid takes out some dolls and starts playing with them but stops and puts them away before taking out a book and starts reading*
A young man in t-shirt and jeans walks through the city, he'd look around curiously now and then... Hmm, that girl looks a bit young to be out this late, not that Peter can judge but well if she's anything like him she might just need a hand. "Great, I can't believe that I'm doing this off some wild guess. Then again, not like I've never done crazy stuff before." He'd walk into the station as well, lagging behind the girl but still aiming to keep an eye on her. Something tells him this could get exciting, but hey if he's lucky that's just paranoia after what happened yesterday.
A rocket-propeled train slows down in the station. How it fit into the station or why it has rockets strapped to it is anyone's guess. A girl with orange hair jumps off the train before it suddenly disappears. Ahh...glad to see the RPT is in working order. Hmm... with this many people here...welp, something is going to happen. Star, what have you gotten yourself into this time? The girl, Star, takes a seat on a nearby bench.
*Hat Kid would look at Star coming out of a strange train, she seen stranger things. Anyways, Hat Kid waves to Star* "Hello"
Star looks at Hat Kid and waves back, smiling but not saying anything.
A fairly young man with no remarkable features, save for his hair, which is clipped back by office clips of varying colors. In one hand, he holds a book, the other is perched upon his chin in a pondering fashion. Of course, the breeze seems to fuel him with a childish glee as he turns the pages of his book. "Interesting... very interesting indeed!" The young man's hand slips smoothly between the fingers of his sleeve. His pace seems to match the wind that blows toward the future. His whole demeanor almost severs his ties to the world around him. He takes several near misses with some vegetation, even some signs.
After glancing at the odd looking train with a confused look being anything and one thing it isn't is normal. Even to katsuya's idea of "Normal" "What the hell.....Is that even safe?"
"nope! but i'm goin' " says 6 right after "tatsuya" says that and speaks to the person who jumped off
(edited by the6thFool)
...there is no train there. It suddenly disappeared.
* shoots a random person with (gun) *
The BLUE-haired girl, because I definitely didn't make this with the wrong account, nope, that would be silly, looks up as a rocket-powered subway rams through the station, she grins, and remarks Didn't think the train was supposed to arrive for another thirty minutes, guess that was off a bit too. She glances at the ring on her left hand, nothing so it seems. Seems like the thing vanished after a bit too, leaving quite an assortment of people around the station. Kinda odd for this time of night Didn't think so many people would be busy around this hour. Even weirder if we're all waiting for the same thing.
*Hat Kid would soon notice Sayaka and Peter Parker and waves to them both*
6 would notice hat kid and introduce her to his metallic blob, puppy
Katsuya Seen what the Idiot 6thfool did and reaches for his colt handgun and approaches him "Hands behind your back your under arrest"
"At this point, I think this world just brings people together for whatever reason, Blue Haired Magical Girl." Kazuo approached the girl from behind with his arms crossed over his chest. Once he reached her, he would make a quick, circular wave with his right hand and smile calmly. "Hey, so what are we waiting for exactly? You got me a bit curious with the way you thought outloud."
6 sics puppy on "tatsuya" and attacks him with his spear
To be honest, this isn't weird at all. From what I've seen, whenever something is happening or about to happen, people seem to group up around the area the things are going to go down in. It's like everyone has a built in sense for this kind of thing. I call this sense "Nex Sense". But, knowing about this sense, it's most likely that we all are waiting for the same thing to happen. Also, that rocket-propeled train was me. Was just testing how it works on rails.
im going to go to sleep
He shrugs upon hearing the girl's statement, it is pretty odd for this many people to be hanging around... "Yeah, can't say I'd have expected so many people either. But hey I'm pretty new to this city so I'm just kinda wandering around, trying to get a feel of things ya know?" He'd then look at Kazuo, gotta act like he's never met the guy before... Pete's played this game after all, and he'd tilt his head curiously upon the man calling Sayaka a magical girl. "Magical girl? I know there's some crazy stuff around here, but is that true? And oh I'm Peter Parker by the way, nice to meet you two." He'd smile at them for a moment and wave, before looking toward Phillip. Huh, the guy is reading something? He might prefer being left alone, but then again maybe not... For now, he'd just stay near Sayaka and Kazuo. Looking back at them with a casual grin on his face.
With a Simple sidestep from the fool and Summoning his persona, Hyperion and casting heat Kaiser on the fool while adjusting his sunglasses "Resisting arrest.....Tch tch tch bad idea"
alloy armour helps migitate the damage & 6 casts thunder reign
Sayaka perks up a little as Kazuo approaches her from behind, only to immediately turn him around and lean forward, putting a finger over her lips Shhhh, not so loud. I have a name you know, and its really better if you don't announce to the world that... She doesn't get any further before hearing Peter speak up, and it seems someone overheared them. Fantastic, Sayaka rapidly straightens up, scratching the back of her head as she laughs nervously I don't know what you're talking about magical girls aren't real that would be ridiculous I mean imagine if superheroes were just walking about the street, wouldn't that be crazy and besides like, who would give that sort of thing to a young teenager hahahahahahahahaha.
Hmm...guess I was ignored...oh well, I guess I didn't really speak to anyone in particular. Now then, when the hell is this crazy event going to start? Star starts to get impatient and pulls out her phone to play a game to pass the time.
"Exactly, I just call her that because blue hair isn't common. Besides, she has the tendency to cosplay a lot. One thing leads to another~" Kazuo laughs at the sudden reaction of both the young man and the girl in front of him. He may need to pay more attention to the nicknames he gives to people, but for now his only worry was Peter in front of him, because he needed to introduce himself. And so, Kazuo would offer Peter his hand. "It's nice to meet you too, my name is Kazuo Fabian. I hope this city proves itself to be fun~" The young man would smile a goofier way than before.
Hyperion Casts another Heat Kaiser and Katsuya Aims his colt handgun and takes a few shots after a slight shock from the thunder reign
Imagine if superheroes were just walking the streets? He'd smirk a bit upon hearing that. "I mean, let's see the Avengers... Daredevil, Luke Cage, I've heard about plenty of superheroes back home in New York. Heck some of them don't even bother hiding their identity, like Tony Stark, Iron-Man." Then there's him, Spidey's far from ready for the spotlight that being like Mr. Stark would pull. So instead he'll just keep it quiet. "And besides, powers don't always come around because anyone meant to give them out right? That being said, despite everything I've heard about I still have to yet to see proof of there being Magical Girls so you're probably right!" He'd take Kazuo's hand and shake it for a moment, huh has this guy been in the US or something? Either way, he'd return the man's smile despite his concerns. And the fact he's almost sure they're both lying to him. "Nice to meet you too, and I think it will be. Kinda reminds me of back home in a lotta way actually, I'm from New York so the big city isn't exactly a shock. Though hopefully, it won't be enough like home to get an alien attack or anything. "
A young woman who also has blue hair walked her way into the station, just in time to hear the sound of gunshots. She's carrying a bad at her side, which seems quite stuffed. "Honestly, is it not possible for any one in the city to live for a single night without trouble breaking out in some fashion?" She sighed, whispering to herself while glaring at Katsuya.
To anyone with precise vision, as in almost godly vision, the book in Phillip's hands reads 'Canon'. Oddly enough, the pages are blank. "Very interesting!" No matter with what speed Phillip turns the pages, they remain blank.
Hmm? Wait...huh. Well, we never could make a good canon. But hey, who need canon? I quite enjoy the chaos of plotholes and inconsistencies. Star goes back to playing her game after getting a look at Phillips's book.
Hyperion disappears and Katsuya holsters his pistol to see someone who attempted murder get away only to see that a criminal out of the 6th fool and sighs and puts his hands in his pockets and resumes his business. Of course he seen enough to know things are never normal in his line of work... "I will find him again.....and arrest him"
[A man with long blonde hair sticking out of the bottom of his hat strolls down into the subway station, carrying an empty glass bottle in his right hand. Approaching the exact area where the group is located, he takes a look around at the people that stand out from the other normal pedestrians, but one significant person caught his eye immediately, Star, or as he likes to call her “The Joestar.” He whispers to himself.] T-There she is.. I gotta act normal for just a few minutes. [The man leans on a wall, occasionally glancing over to Star from time to time.]
A man with raven hair walks down into the station wearing a suit. Next to him is a girl with long snow white hair that looked about half his age eating a candy apple happily while ignoring her surroundings. Dinivis looks around the station and realizes the strange bunch that has gathered. Taking in a deep sigh he simply waits for the train to come and prays that nothing supernatural happens for once.
Star sighs, getting more impatient. Come on, when is this thing that's going to happen, happen? It's not exactly a peaceful night anymore.
Sayaka takes a deep breath, somewhat relieved, and lets it out. The young girl relaxes a bit and follows up Yeah, he's right. Just calls me that because I go to conventions and stuff, I actually have some pretty cool trinkets from one recently. Sayaka digs into her schoolbag and, after a little searching comes up with a small, blue pendant inlaid with gold In-universe its an artifact that helps people channel their own magic, to become a magical girl. I've always kinda liked this stuff, though I was more into superheroes, its been an interest. Speaking of which, didn't that other kid throw out a few names earlier? Definitely sound like superhero names, even if she's never heard of them... Oh, right, she hadn't introduced herself, Sayaka puts the little pendent on and grins Name's Sayaka Miki by the way, pleasure to meet ya.
*turns self in*
"Superheroes are all nice and stuff, but I honestly prefer more common, real heroes. You know, like the kind of people you read about in history books or see in the news." Then again, he didn't exactly have superheroes back at home, those were exclusive to tv shows, comics, and sometimes movies. Still, after the other day, it was clear there was much more to reality than he once thought, after all, he saw that one spider guy, Android Girl shooting herself in the head, as well as that one kid only to summon a Persona. He shrugs and turns to Peter. "Oh, so you ARE american. And here I thought you were from england or something like that, I don't get to meet many americans anymore." But since he mentioned a lot of names, and he got curious. "I've seen a lot of things the past few days, are superheroes real? I know things get crazy often around but...I just want to know if there are people out there protecting us~"
Into superheroes huh? Wonder if this world even has the real ones, he's barely seen any except for Mr. Stark. "Conventions huh, I should look at some of those myself! I'm a fan of a few things, superhero stuff especially." He'd look a bit closer at the pendant, huh kinda nifty... Almost makes him wonder if it's real, considering people her can summon demons and stuff. Well, no sense dwelling. "And a fellow fan of heroes huh? Though I'm not so sure that real live ones are running around here much, a few sightings of Iron-Man... And oh yeah, rumors about some guy calling himself Spider-Man or something?" Come to think of, she hadn't given a name till just now did she? He'd grin back at her. "I was starting to wonder, and yeah nice meeting you too." From there, he'd look around a bit more... Quite a lot of people seem to be gathering, but hmm. He'd wave to the woman with dark blue hair. "Oh hey, I think I've seen you around before out near a garden or something? Uh, haven't spoken yet though, what brings you over to the city?" Of course, said garden is a rather poor area of town. He's only been there as Spidey, but hey it's easy to play off as just having gone without introducing himself till now. Kazuo's words bring Peter's attention back to him, the boy's grin would widen upon being asked if Superheroes are real. "I can't speak for here, but back home there's quite a few of them yeah! Like the Avengers, those guys are a whole team of them... I could tell ya what I know about them if you want, but I'd hate to drone on." As for being from the US, is it that uncommon around here? "And yeah, spent my whole life in Queens New York till I found myself here. Lemme tell ya there was plenty of crazy stuff going on back there too, some freak in a vulture costume with stolen alien tech, a guy that somehow turned people into dinosaurs... Not to mention the giant alien invasion that was barely stopped."
Dinivis takes notice of the small blue pendant the blue haired girl had in his hands. It only takes him a second to analyze its properties before a small smile appears on his face. Thinking to himself that she is probably a new magic user and is using the pendant as training wills. He notices her glance in his general direction and then turns his gaze back to the white haired girl next to him.
With the book finally reaching its last page, Phillip stands and gazes toward the heaven. "I wonder if Shotaro could smell gunpowder if I hid it well enough... Perhaps a Hwacha is better for a surprise... Thoughts that must wait I suppose!" With Phillip's hand finally clear, the cover actually reads 'Cannon Canon'. The young man wanders into the night, disappearing from view within the blink of an eye.
Hmm...oh, I guess this is just a normal relax and talk event. Huh. Haven't seen one of those in a long time. Suddenly, a hot dog stand appears right beside Star. She reaches over and grabs a hot dog before eating it in one bite. Star puts a sign on the stand that simply reads: "Hot Dogs, 200 yen or $2.00." Might as well make a quick buck while I'm here.
DInivis see the hot dog stand appear out of nowhere and on reflex begins to analyze it. Faint traces of mana were found but as a whole wasn't really magic. Regardless he saw the girl next to him run off to the stand after finishing the candy apple. Eyes sparkling as she smell the hot dogs. He walked over and ordered a three hot dogs. One for the white haired girl. He then walked over to the blue haired girl and offered her one. "You seemed hungry. Also, a word of advice. You needn't rush things" He said holding the hot dog to the girl not sure if she understood he was talking about magic
Pleasure doing business! Star gives Dinivis his order.
Niko wanders down into the station, he's seen pictures of subway stations but he's never really been in one. What a surprise though, he's lived in the city ever since he got back from the one world and yet he's never been near a station. He takes a moment to look around. He's got a holster for his evoker on his left leg. "How interesting..." He spots Peter and runs up to him to greet him. "Oh, hey Pete!"
[Noticing that hot dog stand has suddenly appeared next to Star, he looked away, uninterested. Just then, his stomach began to growl. He doesn’t recall the last time he ate food other than some snacks he’d buy at the convenience store, but, could he really trust and enemy with his food? Well, it’s better than nothing. Hol Horse walks over to Star’s hot dog stand with 400 yen in hand, handing it to the girl once he gets there.] Alright Joestar, I want two dogs on the spot. And there better not be poison or any other things that can kill me in any of ‘em.
Having taken a seat, she stared off into space, most of the conversations around her going in one ear and out the other. She chose to say nothing, wasn't comfortable talking to strangers. The only reason she was even outside of her usual streets was perhaps a silly reason, she acknowledged she didn't know much about the city or those who lived in it and felt it was better to even understand a little more. Instead it just made her feel like more of an outcast. As a hot dog stand had suddenly appeared, Saeko's attention snapped back to reality, and realizing what exactly had happened, gave the woman next to it a brief scowl before turning away.
Sayaka grins to herself, initially thinking "he has no idea", then Parker goes on to talk about superheroes, like that sort of thing happened all the time, she starts to doubt herself for a moment. Wait, are you actually being serious? I kinda thought you were just a fanboy. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Sayaka begins toying with her new pendant, glancing over to see Dinvis approaching her with a hot dog, she raises an eyebrow, but hey, who's going to turn down free food? And bites into it, not bothering to swallow before speaking back up I noticed you were watching me a bit earlier, new around here? I mean, I guess the blue hair's kinda a tip off, but there's really not much of a show going on. Besides, I'm certainly not rushing anywhere.
"Poison?" Dinivis mutter with a furrowed brow as he looks back at star
"My apologies and yes I am a bit new around here. I came because Ali-that girl over there wanted to go to a festival nearby. Since she insisted we ride the train back home that's how we ended up here." Gazing at the girls blue he chuckled. "Back in high school I had a classmate with purple hair so it doesn't really stand out much in my eyes" he said to Sayaka
Heh, poison costs extra. Plus, it's not on the menu. Besides, why poison someone when fighting them is so much more fun? Whatever. Pleasure doing business. Star gives Hol Horse his order, poison free.
Kazuo would just stare at Peter in silence for a good two to three seconds before even saying anything else. "...aliens?" If he took a bit of time to think it through, it wasn't that suprising, after all some beings and creatures had similar origins back in his world, he could even argue his own existence is of alien nature to this particular world, despite also being a human. Regardless, he would just shake his head. "It's not that I don't believe you, but it's a lot to process from one moment to another. Each moment that passes by it seems as if this world was more like...some piece of fiction rather than reality. You know what I mean?" Kazuo would laugh at his own comment. He would then take off his hat and place it inside his bag as he played with his own hair. "Who are these Avengers you speak of? I assume they are a team of superheroes?"
"Also it was your pendant that caught my attention. I see many of the kids back home have them in there possession. I made a hasty assumption. Also, does this kid always get so heated talking about superheroes?"
[Upon hearing Dinivis’s quiet mutter, somehow, Hol Horse quickly turns his attention to the man.] Yeah, ya heard me, poison. These Joestars can use anythin’ to kill the servants of Lord DIO. And oh! [Realizing that both of his hot dogs were ready in an instant, he takes both of them, putting them in one hand, and setting down the 400 yen on the counter.] Thanks a lot...
(edited by The_Entire_Horse)
Huh, that guy was looking at Sayaka... He knows something about the pendant? Might need to ask on that, but not now... As for Sayaka's question, yes he is entirely serious. "Yeah, that's not how it goes in your home? Back where I'm from it's become... Constant honestly, can barely even walk down New York streets without something crazy happening on a bad day. And uh fan or no, I honestly worry about all the stuff that goes on." And huh, seems like that lady's both got a hate of people and magic. Well, Peter won't bother her anymore given the fact she's clearly annoyed. Still, he can't help wondering about her... Maybe look into the garden as mild-mannered Peter Parker instead of Spidey? Either way, he'd turn over to Dinivis. "Huh, new around here... And do you know something about magic? The whole summoning stuff outta nowhere bit is new to me, but uh I've seen a little crazy stuff and run away very quickly from it. Still, can't help being curious ya know?" Kazuo's statement would cause Peter to shrug, he can't exactly say anything feels that insanely out there for him. But well, his own world doesn't feel so far from what normal people would call fiction either. "Yeah, I'd understand if you don't buy it honestly. Heck 10 years ago if someone asked me whether or not I thought aliens were real I'd looked at em like they're crazy. Let's just say my home has gone through way too much change way too fast. " As for the boy's other question, he'd take a breath and begin to respond. "Yeah, they're a big deal. Iron-Man, all kinda crazy high tech armor that can lay waste to an army. Thor, as in yes the Norse god of thunder. The Hulk, not always so tough but uh he turns into a giant unstoppable rage monster. Captian America, "just" has super strength and some speed, and an unbreakable shield, but he's kinda the leader too. Crazy stuff man lemme tell ya."
She almost returned to her dazed state, before quickly realizing someone had spoken to her earlier, and standing up in a bit of a rush, finally responded to the man. "Oh, I apologize. I have not been in my right mind as of late, I must have spaced out. Though... I do not remember you stopping by the garden, how did you recognize me?"
Heh, quickest thousand yen I ever made. Maybe I should do this more often...yes, I think I will. I did have that one cafe in space before...hmm... perhaps it is time to focus on a new market for my funding. Star takes out a pen and notepad and starts writing down ideas for going into the food industry.
He rubs the back of his head and shrugs, can't exactly say he's seen her while swinging around from buildings now can he? "Just passed by now and then, but uh never bothered to stop and say anything. I've always had a good memory for people though so it's not too hard to recall. And I'm Peter Parker by the way, you?" Redirect, the first rule of keeping the identity thing under wraps is to just keep things flowing away from tricky subjects. He'd then glance over at Niko, smiling as he sees the familiar face. "And hey Niko, what brings you out to the train station tonight? And geez, good to see after you ran off the other night... That was some crazy stuff huh, what happened after I left?"
Dinivis shrugged at Peters question as he replied. "I know a little here and there but for the most part what you'd see in old movies and such. Nothing serious." He would play ignorant in this setting. As far as he could tell there were at least four people here somehow connected to magic. One of which he wasn't so sure of since beyond the pendant he couldn't really feel any mana coming off of the blue haired girl. Besides, how many people would believe him to be the king of an entire hidden society of magic users called magi. Regardless he didn't have much else to say without given reason. His whole reason for coming over was to give quiet advice to the blue haired girl. Though he also had a small interest in this Kazuo but that was something he'd save for another time. "I recently heard about an incident nearby involving one of the heroes you named. I think his name was spider guy. If he is supposed to be in New York then what was he doing here?" Dinivis asked to change the subject
Niko smirks, he knows Peter knows what happened, but he'll explain anyway. "Well, I awakened to my persona plus I also finally got over something that was haunting me, at least I think I did." He unholsters his evoker. "I have to hand it to Takaya or "Revolver Hippie Jesus", this honestly wouldn't have happened without him. So I guess I have to thank him for that."
"An entire team of superheroes..." Kazuo rubs his chin with the tip of his fingers, finding a lot of amusement in the idea. He would then take a seat and look at the ground. If it was true that superheroes were real, and so, people with incredible powers they use at their will, what would the cultural ramification of that. He knew it, he read back in history at moments when everything changed in a sudden way, and even he could say that superheroes can only mean trouble. "Oh man~ I really don't like superheroes, you can't exactly apply the same rules you apply to the police or the military~ Not like I like any of them anyways." His ears pick up on the "spider" name, however. "Oh yeah, I think I remember something in the news about some street fight that got someone killed. They said some spider guy was involved along with some other people, even a large, unidentified animal was seen in the area."
At the mention of "Revolver Hippie Jesus", Star starts laughing hard. She stops after about a minute. Heheheh...hee...welp, I'm done. Goodnight everyone! With those words, the hot dog stand suddenly disappears and the rocket-propeled train from before reappears. Star gets on and the train leaves in a loud BANG as the rockets activate and it zooms off into the tunnels.
[Heading back over to his wall that he was previously leaning on, Hol Horse munches down on one of his two hot dog, finishing it in a matter of 30 seconds. The other one, well, he shoves it deep in his pocket for later. Maybe his “partner” would want half of it.] [He looks over to the other group, who are seeming to have a conversation among themselves. Maybe they know something about the other Joestars wandering around this huge city. He decides to eavesdrop, hoping that he will hear some important information out of them.]
Sayaka looks over to the white-haired girl, doesn't look too far from her age actually, though its a little odd that they're being so quiet, maybe they're scared of her? She politely nods to Dinvis Speaking of... Ali you said? Kinda weird that they're standing over there. So, the blue-haired girl shouts over to the white-haried one travelling with Dinvis Hey, no need to be so shy, otherwise I might get the wrong idea ya'know? Sayaka glances down to a ring on her left hand, the real magic source Dinvis might notice, as she thinks back to her own home, truth is there had been a lot of stuff going on, but it was mostly in hiding, so most knew nothing about it, added a little charm to the whole mess. I can see that sorta thing getting worrying, though I hadn't heard anything about it back home for a long time. Turns out it happens almost daily here, oh well, there's always someone around to handle it. Sayaka looks back up, a smug grin crossing her face as she finishes her sentence, she's not very good at hiding things, but that's no reason not to try
Huh, he's yet again sure that someone is bluffing him somehow. But no sense worrying about it. As for the question about Spidey, he can't say anything on that... Despite being said hero, he still doesn't understand how he got here. "I guess it's the same as most people? A lot of folks seem to have just kinda been pulled here by some force or another. Heck, that's how I got here myself..." Kazuo's words make him angry, even more so after he saw the guy be perfectly willing to have his "pet" try and kill someone, sure it was a murderer, but he couldn't defend himself. But, he'd simply shrug and smile at the other boy. "I'm not too sure about them myself... You're right, on the one hand, normal rules don't apply that's true. But on the other side, if these villains with powers that the cops or the military can't handle keep showing up, what else is there? Sure you could have more normal law enforcers with powers, heck maybe that'd be best. But so far no one seems to have pulled it off well... It's a troubling thing, to say the least, and there's no closing Pandora's box." He's lying in many ways, with great power there must also come great responsibility. And no legal agency would take someone like him, so yeah he'll fight regardless. Sure there are issues with it, but if people have these powers they should do their best no matter what. But, if he went with his real views well that'd just out him good and quickly.
The white haired girl tilts her head at Sayaka after being called over then runs over to join them next to Dinivis taking here attention away from the train that had suddenly appeared and left with star on board. "I realize I haven't introduced myself. My name is Dinivis Ebonhart. This girl with me is Alice." Dinivis said introducing the long snow white haired girl. The girls bright red eyes remained on Sayaka for a few moments before a mischievous smile appeared on her visage that didn't match her young appearance at all. Her eyes turned a glowing energy like blue with traces of a green star with runes on it for only a moment before letting out a chuckle. "Thine magic is quiet different. Tis curious to know of thine origin" the white haired girl muttered just loud enough for Sayaka to hear. Dinivis simply sighed as he felt his temple
"I get what you're saying, super powers and supernatural abilities add a new tier of danger to normal life and what must be wary of. They are all different and how much each can destroy also varies. It's natural something or someone would show up to counter balance it. It is said that evil cannot exist without good." Kazuo would turn to look at Peter with a serious look on his face, keeping his eyes locked on the american. His eyes are static, as if trying to burn every detail into his mind. "It is of course a matter of opinion, but these powers are owned by a minority, a minority of people bound by nothing but their own ethics, sense of justice and morals taught to each by society. It destroys balance, despite us never having much of it. I like to compare superheroes to people in positions of great power, enough to send the world into oblivion with the push of one button." He raises one finger. "In human society, those with political power are at the top of the chain, as well as the richest people in the world. But most of them, the vast majority of them at least, are bound by a series of laws that WILL punish them if they get rotten, and while some get away with it, they are still normal human beings that, in the worst case scenario, can be killed by one bullet. Although I prefer the legal system to do what's right." He raises a second finger. "But what do you do against a super soldier, or a man wearing armor, a big green monster, how can you bring a god to justice? While it is true those superheroes are doing the right thing by fighting what we cannot...it still doesn't make me feel any safer. I fear what I am hopeless against, I fear that which no normal human will ever be able to stop. There are no guarantees in the end, as you see, laws force people to act in certain ways out of fear of being punished. With no punishment, people won't usually play by the rules" He then lowers both fingers and closes his eyes. "In short, I dislike superheroes because I do not trust the judgement of a single man to give himself liberties to act in way he deems righteous, even if many others agree. Because terrible acts have been justified like this before." After all that, he lets out a loud sigh before returning to his goofy smile. "I said too much Peter. I uh...I don't like getting serious, sorry."
??? 1: I AM THE INFINITE! You can never KILL MEEEEE!!! Out of the sky three men fell while being tied together like a Christmas present by a yellow ribbon. ??? 2: The fact that I agree to hunt a witch thinking okay it's Omnigul easy enough. never in my life I see a witch bow tie us like a present astonishes me... ??? 3: And also a fact that you rarely tether. DIS. A. POINTS. ME! ??? 2: That is because I am not a total asshole. ??? 3: THAT's the Crucible!!
Well, that was quite a bit to take in. For a while he'd simply stand there, staring back at Kazuo at the other young man with his own serious expression... "Yeah, like I said before you've got some good points Kazuo. My uncle had a saying, "With great power comes great responsibility". But not everyone believes that and not everyone can be trusted to do the right thing and help people." He'd pause for a moment, bringing a hand to his chin and sighing. This might get a bit close to his true thoughts, but well so be it. "I don't think it's an all bad thing, I'd like to believe there'll always be someone who can and will stand up to do the right thing. But I'd be lying if I said it's flawless, guys like us are doomed if that theory proves wrong someday, and all it takes is one bad day for a super villain or hero gone mad to kill way too many people. Even so, I'd be just as dead without those superheroes, my whole city almost got ripped to bits and the Avengers? They're the only reason that didn't happen, the world might be a better place if nobody had crazy powers... But that's not how things are, so I'd rather try to think the best of it ya know?" As for his comment on not liking it, Peter would wave it off with a smile. "And no need to be sorry, I've always liked hearing people's viewpoints on things. Even if I don't entirely agree, I'd call this a worthwhile experience." As he says that, a train would pull into the station... Good timing too, headed for the area of that GYM place. "Anyway, that's my ride so see ya around Kazuo!" The young man walks into the train and takes a seat, geez this little wait felt pretty long... And man, he needs to focus on something else. Time for some wallcrawling.
Before Alice has the chance to say anything more Dinivis grabs her by her hand and drags her to the train that just pulled in. Apologizing for the white haired girl as he did so. There was no reason to stay any longer now that the train had arrived.
The girl was most certainly... Not what was expected, fortunately the Parker guy had just left, which meant the only people in the area were Kazuo, who already knew about it, and the girl, who could obviously tell something was up. Still, they didn't ask about it directly, so she'd simply keep a wary glance around, right hand over the ring on her left I come from a place called Mitakihara city, kinda like Tokyo here actually, not quite as big but pretty close. Most people live a pretty normal life there. Then there are people like me, who kinda help out whenever we can and make that "normal" thing I mentioned possible. and that's about when Alice gets dragged away, probably for the best
"It's all fine, I don't entirely trust them, and as much as I mention the bad, I'm not blind to the good they do. See ya~!" Kazuo would smile at the other as Peter walked into the train. The young man, however, would stay there for a bit more, thinking through what Peter had said to him. Peter's opinion had a bit more faith in the good of people than his own, but in the end, they just happen to come from very different worlds, a not just in the literal way. Kazuo would then stand up and begin to walk away, looking at the pair of shadow the light casted down on him. Still, he couldn't help but feel a certain desire to know more. "No, I won't forget a single word. Besides, eyes never lie." He would take the hat from his bag and place it on his own head. His shadow became one again, and so, he was gone from sight.
