because the phansite is the only anime site i go on and now i get highschool yaoi love stories in my freaking ads. Mishima why?

this site actually does not have ads. However, whenever you watch something on Youtube or the like, I have noticed an increase in the number of weird yaoi-themed ads. I don't know why, I just assumed it was a trend

For example, facebook is well known for watching your online activity, and tailoring their ads to specifically reflect what you do to try and entice you to buy their shit. If you are seeing Yaoi ads, that's pretty telling on your search history.

That’s not somewhat true because I’ve never been on Facebook (since Zucc controls everything) and I always keep on seeing the sma yaoi ad even though my ad blocker is on and I definitely don’t search up yaoi (cuz I think it’s gross)

I look at this site at not personal computers and i go to random sites for like math and such and i get yaoi ads on the math sites. I dont watch yaoi if any sort

Allow me to offer an answer, personally I haven't seen many of these ads but I also use ad block quite often to be completely honest. An easy explanation could be that the system that decides what ads are seen where might just associate anything even lightly related to anime to be in the same category as Yaoi.
