Ren means "sacred lotus" in japanese, it's not american at all. If his name was samuel or kenneth, I'd get it.

Ren is a significantly better name then Akira.
Can i ask you a real question? Why do you keep everyday bumping your threads and some others with useless or annoying posts?
Can someone please explain to me why folks have an attachment to Akira? Is it because that's the manga name? Ren appears to be the official name since it is the one used in the anime and eventually in Persona 5 Arena. Don't get attach to nameless protagonists given names outside of games. He will always be called Protagonist in my game.
