Actually Magical Girls are a different genre involving primarily young girls who use magic to help solve everyday problems without anyone knowing. The more popular and proper genre would be under “beautiful fighting girls”, which take after Sentai shows far more than Magical Girl ones and use a cuter motif to appeal to younger girls as opposed to guys. Since the Beautiful Fighting Girl subgenre, with shows such as Sailor Moon, is far more popular and uses similar styles, they received the title “Magical Girl” as the actual Magical Girl shows couldn’t compete. Then there’s been a more recent boom of using the motif in vastly different things, such as Madoka using the cutesy appeal to get people more attached to characters before killing them off like some kinda horror show, Magical Girl Site which honestly amounts to torture porn And finally Raising Project, which takes the themes and applies it to a Battle Royale type thing more akin to Fate/Zero An understandable mistake, but one nonetheless :)

I expect our wrestlers to work things out so the majority of matches have decisive winners (although I personally would to see Upvote and Downvote end a draw). Commentary can chime in whenever they’d like to.
