I'd fully support them, unless they become murderers. They have good motives in game, but in really life they might not be able to come back from lusting for fame and fortune, they may become straight murderers because of an obsession like that. Obviously that wouldn't be guaranteed, but I'd bet in real life with real people it would be extremely hard to avoid the desire to be famous, especially since they are high schoolers.

if phantom thieves were in real life bad things would happen I think plenty of bad things happen in the real world already. I wouldn’t mind seeing what real life phantom thieves would do. However, where would they even start? There’s too many of us for them to make a true dent. But I would support them unless they went too far in changing a persons heart or damaged someone’s mind from stealing someone’s treasure.

Let's entertain the idea of supernatural powers existing in reality, first off since in Persona they're not exactly known as supernatural to the public we'll assume that's the case here. So, taking into account the overall Persona series... There's a lot more strange shit than just the Phantom Thieves, gods, demons, and more all exist. With all that shit hidden in the corners of the world, some people are pretty much bound to find it, use it for their own ends too no doubt. To sum up, I think the world would overall be a bit worse for the average person just with the added chance of being caught up in this terrible nonsense or being collateral damage to it. Sure, the world keeps on turning and turning with most none the wiser but suddenly at any moment things you almost surely don't know exist and can't defend yourself from can utterly destroy you. Not a world I'd want to live in, to say the least.

Honestly, there'd probably be a global manhunt for them or something. Real life is a lot more gray than in P5, so even if they meant well, there'd still be issues, especially in this day and age. Just look at all the sjw vs. anti-sjw/ right vs. left stuff that's going on as well as the entertainment industry as a whole. Depending on where they stand on that kinda stuff, shit would cause problems. Granted, that specific scenario seems to be more of an American thing, but still. Not to mention, there'd almost definitely be consequences to their actions. Yeah, they might end up helping some people, but chances are some other people are gonna end up hurt.
