It had an hour like OVA or something? Not really a movie as much as just a TV special to wrap up the animation. Persona 4 I think maybe did something similar for their final episode, might be remembering that wrong.

The persona 5 movie will be all the P5:the animation episodes, which will show how shit that anime's pacing is.

realistically i think a p1 or 2 cgi would work best being i've heard those are shorter than 4-5 (and presumably 3) but i think a p5 live action'd be real cool if they didn't go the way of sonic

I don’t think it’d be as enjoyable as playing the game. I feel like this is one of the main reasons on why the show did so bad (also because the animation sucked). Plenty of people try to make video games into movies, but it hardly ever works. The idea sounds cool on paper, but in reality it’d be difficult to pull off.
