By standing still and focussing on the brother door, Mateus had committed a grave error. Unbeknownst to him, the mother had already appeared, and not just anywhere, but right underneath him! Too absorbed in his offensive against the older brothoor, whom, by the way, still stood tall, despite the fire and flames engulfing his body, Mateus had failed to notice the presence beneath his feet.
But it was now too late. The door was already gaping. This hole would suck the unlucky emperor in with all it's monstrous might. Meanwhile the brother now seized it's chance to strike. With the anger and rage that only revenge can spur on like this, he dashed through the emperor's traps, setting them all off in a last attempt at smashing the bastard down his mother's gaping hole.
