Yoshio: "Ah! I see, so that must be why you were able to last so long before coming to Millennium. This also means you are very strong, considering you managed to get here through the demon infested Earth safely."
Waruo: "Hoy, Yoshio! Now you're the one getting too excited over this. Prima, if you really want to train your magic, then Yoshio is the guy to go. I'm mostly experienced in hand-to-hand combat and weapons, meanwhile this guy focuses on spells and gunplay."
[Yoshio would let out a quick smiles before nodding his head. The pair would move towards another section entirely, separate from the rings and exercise. This one was filled from side to side with all types of pods ample for an adult of any size could get in.]
Yoshio: "This is the VR Training area, in here, we can connect to the Virtual Battler Network and train against virtual enemies without any issue. You must be aware already, but magic is deeply connected to one's own spirit, and the "essence" of one's soul is what dictates the form it will take in the physical realm. Some may be able to simply aid their companions in battle, as some may be capable of mastering all elements. Whatever is the case, through the Virtual Battler, we connect our minds, and as such, our souls, to a simulation that allows us to train with absolute freedom."
Waruo: "What he's trying to is if you enter the VR Pod and use your magic, and you 'run out of juice', you won't be in bed for days due to the mental exhaustion. That's how it was for the 'mages' of old."
Yoshio: "A-Ah! Yes, that is right. We only train the mind rather than physical capabilities, and so, it's almost like meditation."
[Waruo would walk over to a large computer and open up a pair of empty pods. Yoshio would quickly approach one while looking at Prima.]
Yoshio: "I would suggest that, if we are to try this system, we must now. These spaces are limited, and, in a few minutes, the entire Network and the rooms will become filled with visitors. I'm...saddened to admit we do not own private servers."
Waruo: "Shut-UP, Yoshio. No need to open up about everything. Prima, what difficulty would you prefer? We have... Rookie, Gaean, Hero, Reality and finally Messiah. The types of enemies that appear are different based on your choice, as well as their smarts and power."
...
Raidou: "The 14th? As in... that far back...!? The clothes and tubes are one thing but even then, that's a long time ago...! Are you telling me it truly is possible to move that far back...!?"
[40th was certainly taken aback by this answer and this request. He was not one to hold back, or to doubt fighting, especially if it's for training, but even then, he found himself thinking. On his face, a strange, almost child-like grin would cover his face. His eyes filled with hope before he went back to his sarcastic, stoic self.]
Raidou: "Whatever the case... I can very much battle without problem, but my Master, he may not be up for it. He can probably buy you being a Kuzunoha, but the 14!? That's...that's a stretch, to the highest possible degree. What I want to say is-"
???: "Late again, Raidou?"
Raidou: "Master!"
[From the front door, a very tall man with black spiked hair would walk out, with eyes that seemed to cast the Expanse itself from them. He would stare at both younger men like they had killed his own children.]
Master: "You will explain to me what the meaning of this is, Raidou. You've run around alone for far too long, so it would seem I will need to watch over you even now."
[After saying his piece for the 40th, who wanted to do nothing but disappear, he would turn to Raidou and Gouto.]
Master: "If he caused you trouble of any kind, I sincerely apologize on his behalf. He doesn't quite understand the teachings of the church and has turned out to be quite the rebellious youth. But I can assure you he is learning."
[The man would bow to Raidou, while also forcing his student to do the same.]
