If you awakened your Persona in real life, what would your mask look like? For me I think it would look like something out of Payday or The Purge.

Something dark and simple, though maybe a bit jagged and has a bottom trim that looks something akin to bat wings or even fangs.

I'd probably have a mask similar to Ned Kelly's helmet. But if I was to go for something fancy I'd say something eclipse themed.

A feminine Japanese noh mask, but one that is cracked and broken on the left side. The right side is worn and cracked with a red line flowing down from the eye like blood.

This broken mask would represent the rebellion of tradition, breaking it like shattered glass in favor of a gritty, liberated identity against the standing establishment.

Something similar to Joker's which only covers the eyes. Thaf looks so simple to remove.

Wait, do you have to pull your mask off everytime you summon your persona? I've never seen anyone take off their mask besides when they unlock their persona.

They take off masks all the time

Also, I think taking off masks is only painful when you awaken because you still have a bit of submission in you. After that it's probably painless.

Been playing the game for 105 hours and I've never noticed. I should pay closer attention next time.

Also, I don't think taking off the mask is painful. Right before people unlock their persona, you see them screaming in pain, but I think taking off the mask is like breaking free from that pain. I think the blood is literally to make it look more edgy and cool.

Actually in-game they only rip the mask off for their awakening. In gameplay any time you summon your Persona it seems like the characters simply plant their hands on the mask. It does seem like the mask disappears but it looks like their face is shadowed out? Maybe I'm misinterpreting what I'm seeing since it goes by too fast.

Also I said earlier maybe something about a festival mask but to be specific maybe something like this (not with those colors though ew)
