I fear the threat of group accounts appearing once more.

What happened with group accounts that got them banned?

We know.
Mishima temporarily broke it for now due to the constant issue we had of shared accounts.

If there is a password issue you need fixed, contact Mishima over Discord for a private setting to see what he can do.

People kept making accounts to share, so instead of just having fun with a few people acting like a hivemind, people were using it to spam over the forum and try and flood the forum with pure crap.

It got old quickly.

I was only here for the first two group accounts. From what I hear those were the more tame ones. I saw the tail end of one of the worse ones though and it was just spewing racist stuff left and right.

Wasn't even amusing in the slightest.

Stealing passwords was one issue.
You could change the password, but if one person was still logged in, they could change it back.

I know Mishima was changing the system up to require knowledge of the original password.

I'll send him a message about it.
Is anyone getting an error message when you try to change it?

Ah yes, I remember the struggle for control over the original -AkiraKurusu- account. It makes sense.

The box for requiring the old password was there when I tested it, though trying to change it did nothing. Not even an error message. Is there supposed to be one?

Honestly, I kinda pressed Shadow to make this thread simply to ensure that Mishima or someone that can contact him was aware of the issue. Better safe than sorry, y'know?
