I need something that'll....pull my teacher in, make him a little unsettled at the description and a little paranoid at the character....

Writing is an art, and art comes from deep within you, one may look to outside sources for inspiration, but the only good stories you write will not spring from this inspiration but rather an untapped well of creativity

One idea would be for the story to be one of those mysteries where our main character makes some... Questionable decisions, ones they believe are right of course. And ultimately it turns out they are the criminal. Its not overused yet and a good twist if done well.
