When you join an RP thread, people are automatically going to assume your Light Yagami. That's what it means to RP.

Just don't mention it in other discussions

Can't speak for everyone, but if it is a thread tagged with discussion, then people acting like your Light Yagami is technically breaking the rules, so you'll never get that from me.

Has that happened in non-RP threads? I know I've only been aggro in RP threads, like the Grimoire thread.

If you don't want people referring to you as Light in an RP thread then make another account.

...so treat you like you don't exist in the story until you appear in the story. You realize a lot of RP threads weave together in the same story, right? They aren't stand alone stories.

I'm going to resay what I told Mona in his "Stop calling me a Cat" talking thread:

When you make an RP account in the regards of a pre-existing character, you unwillingly accept everything about that character, good or ill.
In regards to Light Yagami, his shtick is Death Note, and it will probably continue to be brought up every time you enter an RP with that character.

To expect anything less is ignorant to an extreme.

I'm sorry it's something that is annoying you, but as Yu-Narukami said: Make another account if it's a problem for you.
