persona series 7 days challenge
the rules are simple:
there are 7 days of persona questions, you must be honest and answer them, there are the questions:
DAY 1:
"which is your favorite persona game/anime?"

DAY 2:
"what is your favorite moment in persona?"

DAY 3:
"Who is your favorite persona protagonist?"

DAY 4:
"Who is your favorite persona girl?(except protagonist)"

DAY 5:
"Who is your favorite persona boy?(except protagonist)"

DAY 6:
"which is your hardest boss in persona series?"

DAY 7:
"when did you know about persona series?"
Day 1: Out all of them Persona 5 to me.
DAY 1:
My favorite Persona game/anime is Persona 3, I watched the anime first, I liked the story, I liked how the protagonist development looked edgy, even about ken's flashback, I was sad about the ending though, but still Persona 3 was my first and my favorite one, So it deserved to be the best game to me, Persona 5 was good though at it's gameplay, So it's still good to me, Even the story, so I'll put it at my second place.
@Aki-Joker try to make a reason why you liked it.
1: Persona 4. It was my starting point and a bonding experience with my friend. Plus it was Scooby doo. I love Scooby doo.
At the beginning it was for me 3 too, because I liked the dark theme and story. .mostly because also the Protagonist developed feelings in the end.
But I give it to 5 because of social links. In 3 and 4 there were social links I said no to and I mean lots of them, but I 5 I liked everyone except Ohya. They all had such interesting stories.
Also P5s gameplay and the pt outfits
Persona 5 I felt myself relating to more of the characters and I also liked one of the female confidents enough to date her. P4 the only character I liked was the one in the orchestra. And I can't even remember her name.

✭DAY ONE✭

Honestly, I'd say that my favorite Persona game is 3. I have all versions of the game and I've watched all the movies. I've seen the manga adaptation and I've listened to plenty of the drama CDs, as well. I loved the characters and story, a lot of their backstories and motivations really resonated with me and I could sympathize with them easily. Ken, Aigis and Ryoji are definitely my favorite characters from said game.

However, after playing Persona 5, I'd say it's my second favorite. It's style and flare are unmatched and its form of storytelling is more than inspiring. I loved nearly all the cast of characters it had to offer and the gameplay was captivating, to say the least. In the end, I still enjoyed Persona 3 more as a whole.
Day 1. Persona 3 hands down. On top of it being my first persona game, I loved the storyline and the theme revolving around memento mori. I really love games that are bittersweet in that sense and the ending has always been one of my favorites in terms of video games.
*Dawn of the first day*

I'd say P5. Simply put its super-stylish which can make it fun to play even for those who don't usually play JRPGs. A truly rare occurance
DAY 1:
"which is your favorite persona game/anime?"

Persona 3, it's the one I know the most about, and the one I'd prefer to gain a persona in. At the same time, it also has the darkest story, and the best protag because he sacrifices himself to save the world. DOES ANY OTHER MODERN PERSONA PROTAG DO THAT? NO? I THOUGHT SO!
DAY 1: "which is your favorite persona game/anime?"

Persona 5 hands down, the graphics are great, I love the story, and it has that little bit of edge to it, plus THE AWAKENINGS ARE BOMB.The speeches the way that they summon their persona looks painful by the way.But I'm going to stop before this becomes a wall of text.
Day the first.

If I decide with purely my heart I'm torn between P1 and P5.

"But wait Delta, P1 has so many issues that aren't present in the latest 3 games. Just pick P5."

If only it were that simple. Even with all its flaws and little things that modern gamers seem to hate (Random encounters, a hidden character you need a guide to unlock, a second campaign that you probably need a guide to get to, etc...) as my true introduction to the Persona series it holds arguably the top spot in my heart. It's full of the charm you find in old school games and there's plenty of cool interactions you can have that help make you feel for the setting if you go out of your way to explore the various areas. The plot is dark, but not overly so and there's plenty of more light hearted moments so you don't feel so down during most of the two plots. The characters don't get the most development, but you definitely can get the sense that they're all better friends than they might let on at first as the game progresses.

I could go on and on about why I like P1 so much, but I think I've made my point. After writing all of that I'm going with P1.
DAY 1: "Which is your favorite persona game/anime?"

Persona 5's my favorite, probably because of it's relatable cast. Also that the plot moved along smoothly.
DAY 2(IT IS 12 AM TO ME)

--Persona 4 spoilers--

My favorite moment is in episode 26 at Persona 4 the Animation, There was a fight between Yu and Margaret, while Yu was fighting the Izanami-no-Okami, Yu was sad about his friends While Margaret tries to fight him to know his answer, That's when Yu wants not to know about the truth, She tries to tell him about not losing his truth, He stands up and his shadow appeared and he was saying for not losing his friends anymore, he agreed to him, then he fights Izanami-no-Okami again, then he puts off his glasses, then he wins, that's what I liked this scene, and I hope if the spin-offs didn't ruin this.
I'm so hyped for everyone's second question!

(bringing to the top because it is 7 days challenge for everyone)
A challenge for what ?
Day 2: Orpheus goes wild.

No matter how many times I see it...the scene where Thanatos rips himself out of Orpheus' body gives me the chills every time!

At first I thought it held little significance and was just really cool, but learning what it all meant come the end of the game...all I can say is it was VERY well executed!
Yeah I felt like I represents that there are two side to the true self but it's up to you to choose ether one right
But It was even more awesome when Orpheus became the massiah
Day 2: Naoto in the Christmas episode of Persona 4

Everyone was just worried about what to give Senpai and Naoto .... thinks everyone wants to kill her. I loved that episode, especially the end with everyone bloody on the floor like in a horror movie.

My Second one would have been the Yusuke in the church.
Sorry I don't remember those parts
@Aki-Joker that was my favorite moment in Persona 4 too.
Oh it's been a while since I play p4
it was in Golden tho
@Yukayo Yeah the episode was great, also her imagination of kanji getting beat up by Chie. Great.XD
Oh yeah know I remember gold on the Vita right yeah I wish PlayStation would release persona 3-4 on the play store for free

✭DAY TWO✭

+☆Persona 5 Spoilers☆+

My favorite moment in the entirety of the Persona series was most likely Mishima's Social Link. As in, the end of it, where he finds his resolve and decides to continue fighting with the people who he admires(the Phantom Thieves) instead of using them for personal gain and popularity. He'd much rather seek gratification from helping others than having people only help him and his struggle with his confidence. He grew overall as a person and he did it all by himself. That shows his strength and passion as an individual.

It inspired me on a deep level and I respected him far more than I did before. He's a fantastic character and I see a lot of myself in him.
Mine is futaba
Futaba is bey
bumping it again for anyone who didn't use the challenge, start from DAY 1 if you didn't try it on.
Day 2. My favorite moment is when Minato summons Orpheus for the first time in P3 and Thanatos bursts out of it, and rips the shadows to pieces. I've always thought that moment was awesome and it really sold the series for me.
DAY 3:

Yes, my favorite main protagonist without any doubt is:
MAKOTO YUKI!
He is my favorite protagonist at Persona 3, his role at the anime is edgy and I liked it, at movie 2 I liked how his impression looks like, and at the ending I was sad, I thought he is just sleeping and he will wake up, but he turns out to be he is dead...
I hope we will get his revival too at the future games, I want him to be alive though...
#LetsBumpThis
DAY 3 has begun!
I missed yesterday, damnit.
Day 3: Fave protag - Makoto Yuki

As someone who would willingly give up his life for his friends and family. Yuki's story of self sacrifice really resonated with me!
Oh well I'll do day 2 and day 3 together!

DAY 2:
"What is your favourite moment in persona?"
I don’t actually know? I can’t really remember any moments that stand out as being brilliant, except some comedic ones. The other moments that stand out but aren’t favourite material are really spoilery for Persona 3. They involve deaths, and one of them is FES and Portable exclusive.
I just like most the funny scenes and a few tragic ones, but no one scene beats the rest for me.

DAY 3:
"Who is your favourite persona protagonist?"
Minato, for the reasons Persona 3 is my favourite persona game. He fucking sacrificed himself to save the world people! Did Yu do that? No. Did Akira (Joker) do that? No.
Minato is the best.
Also, his canon name is Minato, not Makoto.

Makoto is anime!Minato.
well, I liked the anime one, so I call him Makoto.
Day 3

I love Makoto\Minato but I have to go with Akira.
He is just a good buy in the real world and a badass in the metaverse.
It's like you got your cinnamon rolls with spice.
Also he has the aura of an super villian.
That evil laugh just gets me.

So like I said before Akira then Makoto and then everyone else before Yu.
Day 3. My favorite persona protagonist has to be Minato. I always thought he was written very well and I'm really sentimental over p3 in general.

✭DAY THREE✭

Back before Persona 5 came out, my favorite Persona game of all time was Persona 3. I connected to the characters the most, enjoyed the gameplay and most of all; I loved the main character, Minato Arisato. His design was appealing, I loved his voice, his sacrifice was valiant and I adored the connection he had with the main cast, especially in the manga and movie.

However, once the newest installment of the Persona series came around, Akira Kurusu became my favorite protagonist. He had a lot more character in the game he debuted in, many quirky mannerisms that were distinct and unique to him. I could tell that he was a very shy, humble, composed individual who was restrained by the social norms of society. Once he became a Phantom Thief, all of those repressed thoughts and emotions rebelled and helped form the stylish, fiery passion we know from the leader of the Phantom Thieves. He's a more complex character compared to the other protagonists, who ended up getting their own fair share in later iterations. But I absolutely adored him.
Day 4. My favorite persona girl has always been Aigis, but she's technically a protagonist because of The Answer. Outside of protagonists my fav would probably be Rise. It was tough deciding but I've always thought she was cute and I can't help but romance her every time I play P4.
Day 5. My favorite persona boy outside of protagonists is Shinjiro Aragaki. I really like how complicated of a character he was and all the good points of his character they subtly put in, like his security cam footage. I straight up cried when he died in P3.

Day 6. My hardest boss in the persona series was Sphinx Wakaba in P5. I finished the castle in 2-3 days but I wasn't prepared for the boss fight so it was a struggle to keep everyone alive once she dived down.
Day 7. I knew about the persona series in middle school so roughly 2009-2010 was when I first heard about them and bought P3 FES. After that I bought SMT Nocturne and have been following the series ever since.
