My first was platinum, but to this day, my favorite is soul silver/heart gold. I played it all day, everyday. That Was The first game I truly felt connected with my Pokemon. Especially since I walked with them. I loved it so much.

Pokemon Red. And my favorite is Pokemon Red.

I had so many good memories playing that game with my grandma that her and I would often fight over the game. It got really bad one time that my mom had to put us both on time outs! It was an amazing bonding experience and gave me something to connect with my Nana over.

Despite what my profile pic may imply, my first and favorite is Platinum. I may have been a smol and foolish Cait back then, but I had a lot of great memories, such as walking with my empoleon in the park and contests and finally beating the Elite Four... It was an amazing time.

My first pokemon game was Blue, my dad had it from before my time and figured he'd let us play it some. I was never any good at it, but still enjoyed the time.

My favorite is probably Diamond, and that one's kind of a story.
You see, when Diamond/Pearl came out My siblings and I made sure to be some of the first to get it. A short while into the game, I caught a Budew and named him Buddy. Its a terrible name, but I thought the Budew was adorable and went with it.
Well, I ended up getting REALLY attached to this Budew, so it became one of my staples, and finally, just before I got to the water gym, it evolved into a Roselia, just in time to solo the thing.

Silver and Gold and well I still love Soulsilver most, because Nostalgia, 2 Regions and Team Rocket.
My second favs are Black and white for Story, N and Characters.

Let's be honest here, because I was in another country were there wasn't any Pokémon game, but when emulators exist, I played pokemon white.

My first and favorite Pokemon Game is Fire Red, there are so many memories of failing to get good. I couldn't figure out how to get out or cerulean for such a long time. Didn't know to talk to Bill's computer but to be fair I was like 4 or 5 at the time. Second game I played was Saphire and I wasted so much time trying to get the Day Care Man to move because I always thought there was something hidden in the Pokemon Day Care area which was blocked off. I swear Pokemon was so much better when you didn't know how to do things and the school yard rumor flourished.

My first Pokemon game was Emerald. I played it quite a bit, although I never got past Slateport. I actually accidentally released my starter, since I also accidentally put him in the PC, and being the button masher I think I was, I always hit "deposit" and never "withdraw", meaning I couldn't retrieve him. I saw the "release" button and thought, "Oh, hey does it mean release it from the PC back into my party? Great!" and then proceeded to reset my game after I saw it slowly fade away.

My favorite is, unsurprisingly, BW and B2W2. I'm actually in the process of selecting my favorite of the two right now, by replaying them both. Overall, I just find them to be extremely enjoyable games, both gameplay-wise and, of course, story-wise.

Pokemon Diamond version(Gen 6)

Pokémon Pearl from Gen 4. Probably why I have bias towards that gen. Favourite is Platinum, but the cartridge I had broke.
