Ready as ever, in... whatever this place is! Bring it on, nya! *He draws his sword*

*Gamma looks over to Cait*
No offense kitty, but aren't you weak to ice? I don't particularly want to bully anyone, but you're kinda running into it.

*turning back to Hikaru*
Of course I'm ready.

Very well. Remember, your attacks will not kill, so go all out!

PREPARE TO STRIKE

*bell rings*

FIGHT!!

Weak to ELEC, nya! *He waves his sword in annoyance*

*Gamma sighs and steps back a little,*
I'll end this quick for you.
Shiranui, Ice Age.

*Gamma's persona bursts into life around him and roars, a sheet of ice begins spreading towards Cait from under Gamma*

Oh, not happening! *He slashes a card with his sword. An odd-eyed black cat with a burnt leash appears in a burst of blue flame.* Black Cat, Garudyne! *The Persona yowls, creating a green tornado under Cait to lift him into the air*

*Gamma looks up at Cait, he thinks for a moment, and continues channeling the sheet of ice*

Well there's step one I suppose, don't step on thin ice. I wonder how far you can go kitty.

*The ice stops spreading across the floor, just past where Cait was, and 4 pillars begin to rise from the ice, one directly under Cait, the others spread between him and Gamma*

N-nya? *Due to the sudden platform, the tornado fades, and Cait lands on the ice. He growls and points his sword at Gamma.* Let's try this again! Garudyne! *Black Cat launches itself towards Gamma, sending out a green tornado once halfway between its master and its target*

*Gamma grins as Cait lands on his pillar, all pillars stop growing as ice begins to creep up his legs*

Now what did I tell you about stepping on thin ice? Its as good a--

*disctracted by his boasting, Gamma is blown back when the tornado strikes him, but remains on his feet, breathing heavily. The ice pauses for a moment once he's struck, before continuing to creep up Cait*

*Cait growls and begins stabbing at the ice with his sword* Keep him busy, Blacky! Garudyne!

*Black Cat sends out another green tornado at a closer range. It's more focused on power than distance this time, trying to knock Gamma off the pillar*

*Gamma stops focusing on the ice beneath cait to pay attention to Black Cat*

Fine, be that way I'm pretty sure this will hurt all the same.
Shiranui, Eigaon.
*three Tendrils of darkness lash through the tornado, interrupting its flow, while also striking out at Black Cat*

OOC: btw, Gamma isn't on a pillar, the other three are acting as obstacles of sorts between him and Cait. Sorry for any confusion

ooc: It's fine :3

ic: *Black Cat and Cait hiss in pain, although the Persona doesn't seem too damaged by the attack.* Go in for a Terror Claw!

*Black Cat shakes its head and charges forward, one paw crackling with a purple energy* (Med Phys, Medium chance of Fear)

*Gamma raises an eyebrow, and meets Black Cat's claw with his own staff*

You're determined if nothing else. But while you're stuck up there...
Shiranui, Diamond Dust.

*Gamma's persona bursts into life around him, seeming to phase through Black cat, before it roars, launching 6 spears of ice towards Cait himself. THey arc outward at first, before curving in towards him*

ooc: sorry for mini-poof

ic: *Cait, unable to dodge, is hit directly. Black Cat vanishes from the loss of concentration* Stupid ice... And I can't even- *He pauses, then smacks himself in the head.* Right. Demon skills. Maragi! *Multiple flames burn away the ice, and Cait leaps away from his former icy trap*

*Gamma grins as Cait jumps down from the pillar*

And that's the game folks.
Shiranui, Deathbound.

*Gamma's persona roars to life once more as a wave of force emanates outwards from him. As it passes the pillars of ice, they shatter into hundreds of shards and chunks of ice, flying out at random, a few pieces strike Gamma, but he hardly seems to notice them*

*Above the crashing, a faint "Maragi!" is heard. A wall of flame surrounds where Cait is, but will that really be enough?*

...

Fire Dance!

*Pillars of fire rise from a heap of ice, and a certain cat charges forward, although noticibly limping*

*Gamma regards Cait for a moment, his eyes are unreadable*
Honestly, I assumed you'd be unconscious by now. No matter, you're clearly in no real shape to fight. Eigaon.

*Tendrils of darkness come out of Gamma's right sleeve, he grabs the tendrils, and swings them at Cait, hoping to latch on to his upper arms*

*Cait is grabbed, but he has an idea. A crazy one, but an idea.*

Maragi! *With a flick of his tail, a wave of flame is sent at Gamma to release the tendrils' grip*

*Gamma sighs, and tugs on the tendrils, hoping to pull Cait into his own wall of fire*

And just in case that's not enough, Shiranui, Ice Age.

*Another wave of ice, larger this time emanates from Gamma, it rapidly expands and grows, quickly forming a wall that expands towards and attempts to engulf Cait*

*Cait is... basically killed by this. If the program doesn't prevent it, he poofs into a mass of demon energy or whatever*

COMBATANT DOWN.

*Cait is removed from the simulation and looks around.* Well, that coulda gone better. Should have remembered my fire skills, nya... Using a Persona sometimes makes me forget I'm a demon!

*Gamma looks around the room, glancing at Cait over his shoulder*

Don't feel too bad, you kinda walked into a one-sided matchup. If you're serious about participating, well, I hope you're just in it for the experience.

*MARC releases healing gas and all injuries from both ends are healed*

*Cait's tail lashes* Oh, I'm in it to win. I just need to get my head in the game! I'll be back, nya! *The feline runs off to do... whatever*

AND THERE'S THE MATCH LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!

That was but a test of what the Multiple Augmented Reality Computer (MARC) is capable of. Once the tourney kicks off, our warriors will be fighting in multiple locations as far as the mind can imagine! And the healing gas seems to be working wonders too! I can't wait to see what's going to happen!
