(The crowd begins cheering) Please give a welcome to our first pair of fighters.... COPEN AND STAR!!! (The crowd begins cheering as the two make their way to the machine, some chanting Copen's name, while others chanting for Star. Strangly, a group of fans are blowing airhorns and holding up signs that read "STAR'S FAN CLUB". Looks like they anticipate a good fight.)

(As Spider Man and Janus begin their match, Hikaru yet again types in various commands into the machine’s terminal, this time making more teleporter pads pop up on the machine. He whispers under his breath “Looks like I’ve figured out some of your coding, Hikaru Prime.” He then grabs the mic to announce the next group of fighters) Alright folks, we have multiple angles and shots of every fight, so you can choose who to watch and root for! Now let’s welcome our next contestants. Give a warm welcome to... SHO AND BLU!!! (The crowd begins to cheer as the two make their way to the machine)

(After Mr. Satan and QP are teleported to the virtual world, Hikaru who is hard at work at the Virtual Reality machine's console. After a few minutes of focus amid the crowd's excitement of the current fight, two more pads pop out from the other end of the machine, and Hikaru let's out a satisfied sigh. He then takes the mic) Alright folks, after some technical work, we are able to get multiple fighters into the machine! I've made it so they can fight in another virtual reality room, so they don't interfere with other matches happening at the same time! Now let's welcome the other two fighters, I feel like this will be a match to remember! Please welcome... Janus and the amazing Spider Man!!! (The crowd explodes in cheers and applause, not expecting to be treated to two fights at the same time, they were pleased beyond words)

After a lengthy battle, we are now ready to move on to the next fight of the night. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome our next fighters... MR. SATAN AND QP!!! (the crowd begins to cheer as the two make their way to the center of the stadium)

*NOTE: COMPLETELY OPTIONAL TO PARTICIPATE, SPARRING WILL HAVE THE SAME RULES AS THE TOURNEY, OR ANYONE WHO USES IT CAN TRAIN WITH A PRACTICE DUMMY* (In an empty room in a basement where the current tournament, the King of Nexus 2018 is being held, lies a massive machine. Judging from the cobwebs and dust, it seems it hasn't been used in a while. It looks similar to the Virtual Reality machine used in the actual tournament, except more bulky, the wiring seemingly more intricate, there are multiple tubes sticking out from the machine with pads similar to the teleporters from the Virtual Reality machine. Although the pre-match festivities are occurring on the surface of the stadium, the only thing that can be heard down in the damp room where the forgotten machine stands is a constant drip of water from a nearby pipe, and Hikaru promptly typing in commands into the old console) I wonder if this old thing still works. The wiring and power supply seem to still be working, just gotta find a way to boot it up somehow and... (Just as Hikaru types in more commands, the old machine makes a loud, prolonged beeping noise. A strange green mist begins to emit from the vents of the tubes, and a bright blue light bulb in the middle of the machine turns on) Heh. Hikaru you are a genius. Now to make a small announcement.... (Hikaru the presses a button on the console of the old machine, activating a intercom system that can be heard throughout the entire stadium, except for the actual stadium grounds where the spectators are in) Greetings any current fighters who are awaiting a match or who have already fought. If you are interested, please make your way to the elevators on the south side of the stadium. I have a little something that may interest you...

(Inside of a large stadium, there stands a strange machine and a small, skinny man with a microphone. That man, the announcer grabs the mic and begins talking. The roars of the crowd can be heard all throughout the city) Alright ladies and gentleman, creatures of all manner, we are ready to get the tournament under way! Welcome to the King of Nexus 2018. Behind me is the fabulous Virtual Reality machine that will transport our competitors into a myriad of locations throughout the world and beyond! Keep in mind, all fighters are 100 percent safe and can be healed regardless of the severity of the wounds via healing drone. Now then, onto our first match of the day!
