*Kazuya walks forward with both a confident, and nervous expression. If Star will really be his opponent then this won't be at all easy, not even close to that.*

Man...it was the same thing with Tatsuya back in the day, why can't I get someone easier to figure out!?

*He sighs and smiles.*

*Sam stands up from his seat, spinning his screwdriver*

A change in opponents...? Well, I guess it's not that bad!

*Kazuya moves his head from side to side, making a cracking noise.*

*Kazuya walks towards the teleporter and stands on it.*

*A green shield appears around Sam for a brief second before fading. Resistances changed*

A beach!
Ah, this is a nice change in scenery!

*Kazuya quickly draws both swords of his, taking a defensive stance, and his expression turns much more serious.*

Now then...if you insist...!

*Kazuya immediately runs for the tropical forest right next to them.*

Sam

Running for cover? Seriously?
*Leaning on his cane, Sam snaps his fingers. A lightning bolt strikes the tropical forest, setting it on fire.*

Kazuya

Hah...!

*Still running inside of it, he doesn't take much interest in the trees burning."Probably the kind of guy that shoots skill after skill, Let's see...!" He think. He then types on his COMP, making sure to summon his first demon, Cerberus, who is now running by his side.*

You understand, right Pascal?

Sam

*Thinking as he fixes his arm with his screwdriver, still leaning on his cane*
I should be ready for whatever he can throw at me. A demon summoner has a big bag of tricks, after all
*He hums. Storm clouds start rolling in*

Kazuya

*Some trees begin to fall close to him, but him and Cerberus manage to dodge all of them, since they are not many yet.*

Crap, I gotta do this fast!

*His next move is to summon Trumpeter, who is ordered by Kazuya to fly towards the sky.*

Sam

*Sam spots something in the sky*
What is that? Not good, that's for sure.
*He snaps his fingers, causing a lightning bolt to fly from the clouds towards trumpeter*

Kazuya

*Trumpeter doesn't even try to move, as he Repels electric attacks. Kazuya snaps his fingers with a smile.*

I see, now...I'll use your method, Gamma!

*His third demons is Satan, hiding right next to Kazuya and Cerberus. Then, the young man points at the trees, and orders Cerberus to destroy those close to him, to create a circular area around him, so no trees fall on them anymore.*

Sam

*Sam absorbs electric*
Repel electric, do you? I see.
*A lightning bolt hits the see, charging it with electricity*

Kazuya

I see, thanks Trumpeter!

*The demon informs his summoner of the result. Kazuya's final demon is summoned, Baal. After this, the young man sits down and makes hand gesture, as Satan casts Ice Age, strong enough to try and freeze the entire Forest, and island, effectively getting rid of the fire.*

The pieces are all set now.

*His demons nod*

Sam

*So much for my "rock and hard place" strategy.
*Sam draws his bow and an arrow at Trumpeter. Sever Gun Damage*

Kazuya

*Trumpeter takes the hit, and loses its balance for a second, before returning to his position, it took a lot of damage but is still able to cast Debilitate on Sam.*

Alright, let's go!

*Kazuya jumps on Cerberus, they both rush out of the forest and get to the beach again, in the opposite side of where Sam is right now. They both run along the shore towards Sam's direction. Satan and Baal on the other hand stay where they were summoned. Satan casts Concentrate on himself while Baal uses Matarukaja, raising the party's attack.*

Sam

Took them long enough.
*Sam casually stops fixing his arm, puts his hands into his pocket, his staff embedded in the ground, and waits*

Kazuya

*Trumpeter gives both Satan and Baal Sam's position. Taking advantage of the frozen floor, Satan uses Diamond Dust (Severe Ice) on Sam from a distance, taking aim to his legs, while Baal attacks with Panta Rhei (Severe Wind) aiming for his hands.*

Hello there!

*And only a few meters away from him, Kazuya and Cerberus, while still running, jump to the side, as if trying to surround him, still not attacking.*

Sam

*Sam is hit by all the attacks. He flickers slightly before yawning*
That it? Come on, Katsuya. Show me that power that makes you a Demon Summoner Master.

Kazuya

*Kazuya smirks and raises his hand, as magic quickly covers his body.*

C'mon, show me what you got, I'm waiting, we're all waiting for your move!

*The magic leaves his body and then cover his entire team. Kazuya has used Morale Boost, raising the attack, defense and agility of his entire party. Then, while Satan and Baal attack once more with the same moves, they now try to, instead, freeze his feet and debilitate Sam's grip on his weapon respectively. Cerberus lets out a loud roar as he attacks Sam with Megaton Raid (Severe Phys).*

Sam

Heh. Sucker
*Sam vanishes, leaving only his cane stuck into the ground. It soon releases a round cage made of electricity around the area, trapping Kazuya and Cerberus inside it. An arrow comes out of the jungle, striking Trumpeter. Severe Gun Damage*

Kazuya

*Thanks to the buffs, Trumpeter is able to dodge the incoming attack. It laughs at Sam, taunting him. Kazuya and Cerberus, however laugh at what just happened.*

Damn it, pal! We should've noticed, him just standing there wasn't normal, now then...!

*They both sit down, thinking. While Satan and Baal attack the entire area with Ice age and Magarudyne.*

Sam

*Sam sits at the edge of the forest.*
The ice will melt from the lightning cage while the staff is stuck in the sand, making it inmovable from wind. No escape. But, that's not what you should be worried about.
*A lightning bolt hits the cage, sending wild waves off thunder through the cage. At the same time, the staff emits some heat waves*
You can't die, but this may hurt. The lightning will melt flesh and bone of anyone inside the cage, ie: you, while the microwaves will cook them from the inside out. Game over.

Kazuya

I see, then please, let me surprise you with something!
I'm sorry Pascal, but I need the energy!

*Kazuya smiles with confidence and is covered by blue flames, while Cerberus goes back to the COMP. Kusanagi has been summoned and, as if waiting for something, Kazuya sits on the ground, meditating as large amounts of magic cover his whole body. But now that Sam is able to be seen, Trumpeter informs both Satan and Baal of Sam's position. Satan attacks with with a powerful Black Viper (Severe Almighty), aimed at Sam but, at the same time in case it fails, towards the cage, and Baal keeps attacking with Panta Rhei.*

Sam

RAIJIN!
*Suddenly, with a rumble of thunder, a lightining bolt strikes Sam a second after black viper hits. The Black Viper hits, dealing heavy damage, but Sam heals it back from Raijin's Thunderbolt. The staff releases a wave of high frequency sound to burst Kazuya's eardrums and kill him via brain hemeridge*
With so much electricity coursing through the cage, you summoning device should be magnetized by now. Say good bye to your demons, cause without that device, they're gone.

Kazuya

W-Wasn't healing this way illegal...!? Damn it! KUSANAGI!!

*The magic surrounding his body leaves his body violently, and once his Persona overlaps his right sword, Kazuya does a barrage of slashs of highs speed at the ground, digging his way out.*

Lightspeed Slashes!!

*Sadly, because of the electricity has an effect on his COMP and Baal disappears. But Satan, as quickly as he can, attacks with Diamond Dust, aiming to trap Sam's body.*

Sam

It's not healing, it's absorbing an attack. Completely different. Raijin.
*A thunderbolt strikes the ice from the air.*
Oh, and the lighting is more liquid than solid, so it can't be cut through if that's what you're trying to do. How's the insides, by the way? Skin? Ears? Hurts, doesn't it?

Kazuya

You attacked y-yourself you cheater, damn it, whatever!

*Kazuya activates his Skill Crack and turns around, aiming his left hand at the staff as massive amounts of energy form in front of it, aimed at the staff.*

BLACK VIPER!!!

*Kazuya shoots a Black Viper at point blank, aiming to completely disintegrate the staff out of existence.*

SELF ATTACKS THAT ABSORB DAMAGE WILL COUNT AS HEALING. NO CHEESING THESE FIGHTS WITH HEALTH REGEN

Is there a rule that says I can't?
*A thunder bolt hits between the staff and the attack and a figure absorbs the attack with a drum*
Damn. That hurt. I didn't know I could feel pain through my persona. Still, my staff's OK. And you're outta time. Is that the microwave I hear beeping?

Sam

My apologies. I didn't think that counted.

Kazuya

Pain, huh!? Then suck on this!

*His COMP lights up dangerously and his blue flames flicker into red ones for a second before going back to blue, as he, somehow, keeps shooting Black Viper at the staff.*

Sam

I can't take another one. Make some music, Raijin
*Raijin beats his drum. A sound wave comes from it, blocking Black viper and pushing Kazuya back towards the electric wall in an attempt to fry him.*

Kazuya

*Kazuya takes the hit like it was nothing, and instead keeps shooting Black Viper again, and again, and again, each time more and more powerful than before, and each time, his blue flames turn into fierce, crimson flames before going back to blue*

C'mon, keep trying nerd!

*Trumpeter casts Heat Riser on Satan. After this, Satan rushes from his positiong towards Sam out of nowhere, breaking every single frozen tree on his way. Once he finally makes he way there, it creates a thick, ice wall around Sam.*

Sam

How has he not fried yet? And how are those two still around? His device should be fried.
*Raijin flies out of range of the attacks Firing at him before firing a lighting bolt at the shield. A wave of electricity pushes through the shield, disintegrating anything inside the shield.*
Die already!
*Sam Activates his claw and impales Satan in the neck before beheading it.*

OOC: I tried to make an effective death trap. Then I kind of went overboard. I try to make Sam Awesome by Analysis, but I went a but heavy with that idea. I'll tone it down in the future.

OOC: The cage idea was really cool and creative, it really surprised me.
Your entire style looks really cool, but if you didn't give me any chance at getting away, or countering.
If you just negate anything I do, and saying things like "impales Satan in the neck before beheading it." which is deciding the death of one of my demons by saying "behead" is a no go in this kind of stuff.
Like I say, just be careful and give some room for reaction, instead of "do" go with "tries".
I apologize for godmodding in response to all of this, but whatever, it happens.
Next time, try to pay more attention to this kind of thing, you have the potential for really cool RP stuff.

*He throws a chip at Kazuya*

*He steps out of the shadows with a dark smirk on his face as he walks into the portal* Gamma huh? Not using Apollo here.

*His Persona changes to Sarsvati* This fight's been coming a while... *He chuckles* I guess I'm only shocked it's a harmless tournament rather than a death match.

Kazuya

Man...t-that was really close, I can't believe I fell for his trap...!

*Kazuya catches the chip, then laughs and gives Sam a thumbs up as he walks towards his sit.*

You're pretty strong, I wouldn't mind sparing with you again in the future!

*Gamma sighs and steps towards the portal*
Looks like the tournament's coming to a conclusion rather early. We both know this match is as good as the last one.

*Gamma gives Tatsuya a sideways glance*
Now then, lets see how far your Wildcard crap can take you. Shall we?

Sam

OOC: Sorry again. I'll make sure to think about my wording in the future and make things fairer. Thanks for the advice.

*He smirks back at Gamma* My Wildcard crap huh? *He rubs his chin in thought* If I were a prideful idiot I might say. "I don't need my Wildcard to beat you"

*He laughs at the idiocy of the thought* But that's not me, you're good Baphomet Gale so I won't fuck around. *He stares at the man sizing him up*

*Gamma quickly steps back*
I'll start simple for you.

Shiranui, Ice Age.
*A sheet of ice begins to spread across the ground, lowering the temperature along the way. It seems to be going faster than normal as it approaches Tatsuya*

Tatsuya

*He smirks as he looks around at the dirt and rocks in the forest* Don't think this place only helps you Gamma! We can make use of it as well isn't that right Sarsvati!?

*A woman holding a harp appears behind him and summons up a wall of rocks from the dirt spreading in front of the ice as Tatsu moves to the front left corner and pulls a flashbang from his coat tossing it around the wall and towards the Gamma's feet*

*Gamma sighs as the wall comes up*
You can only slow the inevitable. Some things are absolute, like the results of thi-

*Gamma covers his eyes as the flashbang goes off, the ice stops spreading for a few moments, until Gamma catches his breath and it begins spreading aimlessly, as in it simply radiates out from Gamma in all directions, creeping up the rock wall*
I don't have to see you in order to freeze you. I can fight without consequence here, you'd better be ready for it.

Tatsuya

*Sarsvati snaps her fingers causing the rock wall to burst into shrapnel that zooms towards Gamma as Tatsu draws his his chainblade before it flips into a machine gun... And he begins blazing away at Gamma with Fire Dust rounds aimed at his torso* I'm not going down easy you jackass!

Bgammax

*Gamma blinks a few times and opens his eyes, seeing Tatsuya's gunfire, he draws a small device from his pocket and pushes a few buttons, a barrier appears around him, blocking the fire rounds*
Looks like spaceman wasn't useless after all. Now then, Shiranui, MaEigaon, lets see how Tatsuya likes a taste of his own medicine

*Many tendrils of darkness form around Gamma and reach out for the rocks flying towards him, they grab the rocks and throw them around, most of them go in a random direction, but a few are aimed directly at Tatsuya*

Tatsuya

*He blocks a couple rocks with his gun before a third slams into his chest and he grunts in pain* Tch that hurts a bit but now it's my turn.

*He runs at the ice then leaps into the air as Sarsvati vanishes only for Lucifer to appear under him flapping it's wings and flying into the sky while Tatsuya tosses a frag grenade down towards Gamma* I'll have to pull out death from above looks like!

Bgammax

*Gamma grins and swings his staff to knock away the grenade*
You're really going to have to try harder than that Tatsu. Especially with this much water in the air. Weaker flames, easier ice.
Shiranui, Diamond Dust.

*Gamma's persona flares into life around him and roars as a dozen spears of ice form around him, they arc outwards before curving in towards Tatsuya. If dodged, the spears are curved to meet in the middle and shatter into a burst of much smaller ice shards, likely ranging from pebble to dagger-sized, which would fly out in all directions of course.*

Tatsuya

*He leaps down from the Persona and laughs as it stands still grabbing 4 of the spears then before the rest slam into him and Lucifer roars clearly causing Tatsuya serious harm then he vanishes as Tatsu's blade forms from the gun and the teeth begin spinning as he aims to drive it past the staff and into Gamma's right shoulder with a falling stab*

You're right of course the air won't help me... *His face lights up in rage* But then again not like I need it to for Apollo to lay waste to you Gamma!

*He breathes heavily before Apollo forms in a blur and summons up a dome of flames around them melting the ice inside of it and causing the air to heat and dry out as Tatsuya smirks* You aren't the only person who can change an environment!

*Gamma uses his right arm to move his staff to block the sword, which results in a slight slowdown as the end of the staff gets cut through, this gives Gamma enough time to avoid the stab himself, but Tatsuya's sword still tears through the forcefield, Gamma seems to be breathing heavily inside the dome*

Huh.... Thats reckless, stupidly so. You should learn to control yourself better.
S... Shiranui. Eigaon.

*A few tendrils of darkness come out of Gamma's left sleeve to form a whip that he swings horizontally, aiming not for Tatsuya himself, but at his weapon, hoping to throw it out of the dome*

Tatsuya

*He laughs and grins viciously at Gamma* Sure it's reckless! That's the Damm point you hide behind clever tricks and play keep away, now though? *He smiles as though envisioning murder* Nah we're in my world now.

*The flames roar from a wall behind Gamma sending a jet of fire at his back as Apollo focuses in while the whip slams into Tatsu's blade blade yanking it from his hands*

Tch what a pain in the ass... Apollo let's try that! *The Persona forms a longsword of flames and tosses it at Tatsuya who grabs the blade then tries to slice into Gamma's legs* I'll cut you to bits and roast you at the same time!

*Gamma is struck by the flames, and rolls with the momentum*
Oh of course.... So this is what you really look like? None of that friendship crap, just full on violence.

*Gamma's rolls into Tatsuya , being cut by him in the process*
I won't lie, I prefer to remain distant from problems, much easier this way. However this does not mean you should get too close.

*Now that Gamma is in direct contact with Tatsuya, he is able to create and spread ice, starting by trying to freeze his sword arm*

Tatsuya

*He smirks and dashes at Gamma ignoring the somewhat frozen arm before trying to take hold of him with the other* Pure violence? Hah not really, I just know how to get the dammed job done unlike some people!

*Apollo grins behind his mask and waves his hands causing the some to smash together into a huge pillar of fire that crawls along the floor before reaching them and jumping up in a burst melting the ice around both as Tatsu tries to stab the blade into Gamma's chest*

*Both Gamma and Tatsuya are struck by the blaze, though Gamma clearly minds more. In such close quarters, he's unable to dodge when Tatsuya stabs him, and looks pale*
.... Come to think of it, I only have to knock you out in order to win..... So hows this for... Getting the job done?
Shiranui, Dormina.

*Gamma's persona appears around the pair and washes over them, filling Tatsuya with a feeling of great exhaustion*

Tatsuya

*He bursts out laughing... Along with his Persona* Idiot, didn't you know Apollo nulls that shit?

*He shakes his head and tosses the blade at Gamma lazily before Apollo tosses flames into the man's fists before Tatsuya unleashes a flurry of burning punches into Gamma's head and chest trying to smash the man's body to bits as well as turn him to ashes*

*Assuming Gamma is done he places his hands in his pockets and leans back on a tree with a smile on his face* And that's game.

*Gamma is knocked well across the room, he's badly injured, but still living.... And laughing actually, although he can't seem to stand*

I always knew you hated me.... Really its too bad this is a simulation... Still, it was very, very helpful information for me.... No longer a doubt in my mind...

But I hated Lux at one point in time, it's never too late till it's over. *He chuckles* But knowing you it seems pretty over from where I'm standing.

{In a flash the small yellow dinosaur appears.}

A: Hey there Hibki! Ready for a rematch?

{The pair begin stretching.}

First move huh? Agumon keep him occupied!

A: On it! PEPPER BREATH!

{Light fire damage 1-4x}

{Tai uses the cover of fire to run to one of the cannons and begins turning it.}

Tai

{A volley of flame was launched from Agumon's glowing maw.}

OOC: forgot to say what it did...smh

*Hibki stands there and let's the fire hit him, it's quickly sent back at Agumon* That's not working twice, however I now have a weakness to ice to balance out my skills. *He gathers ice in the air and sends a Bufudyne at Augmon*

Tai

{The flames are sliced by Agumon's glowing claws. The light fades as he eyes the massive ice blast.}

A: BABY BURNER!

{Agumon melts the ice just enough to cut back a fair chunk of it. He is however tossed back to Tai who finished aiming the canon at Hibki. He smiles at his partner.}

Let's go Agumon!

A: Pepper breath!

{Agumon weakly raises his head as he launches a flame to set off the canon, firing the cannonball right at Hibki!}

*He jumps but the cannonball hits him in the leg breaking it. He casts a diarahan fixing it and gets back up* What happened to one on one? This is a double team.

IC: Ugh, that hurts like hell. Take this! *He sends three medium ice blasts at Augmon with an ice dance*

AGUMON!

{The lizard is blasted off of the ship by the blasts of ice, but he wears a confident smile through the pain.}

Tch. Making me worry like that!

{Tai grabs his Digivice and pulls the pendant off of his neck.}

AGUMON WARP DIGIVOLVE!!

{The Digivice glows orange as a beam of light arcs from the screen into the pendant and then into the sea. Shortly after the beam fades, there is a massive eruption beneath the waves and out flies MetalGreymon.}

M: That's cold Hibki! Achoo!

Come on Metal Greymon!

M: Right! Trident Arm!

{The large metal claw is launched at Hibki in an attempt to knock him overboard.}

*Hibki is smacked my the claw and goes flying, he smacks into a cannon. He gets up on his good leg before sending a Holy dance at Metal Greymon for three medium almighty hits* Ugh, I need to find a way to evolve.

Tai

{MetalGreymon takes the attacks and begins to lose altitude, still weakened from before.}

Hang in there buddy!

M: I know Tai! Take this Hibki! GIGA DESTROYER!

{The metal on his chest opens up as he launches an organic missile at Hibki for heavy nuke/fire damage.}

*He takes the nuke damage but the fire is still reflected back at Metal Greymon* ugh, I can feel the radiation. How about this? *He gathers more ice before sending a Bufudyne at Metal Greymon*

Tai

{He shrugs off the flame as he prepares for the coming ice strike. He braces as he is struck. His wings freezing over as the massive creature falls and begins losing altitude even faster!}

Alright. Now or never! Let's finish this Metal Greymon! DIGIVOLVE!

{Again the Digivice lights up as MetalGreymon changes form.}

M: Metal Greymon digivolve to...

{The lights flashes bright and subsides revealing War Greymon.}

W: War Greymon!

Alright end this War Greymon!

W: GREAT TORNADO!!

{War Greymon raises his arms above his head as he spins wildly before turning into a blur. He flies up into the sky before coming down above Hibki trying to push him through the ship.}

*Hibki raises his sword above him to try and make War Greymon land on it as he falls, even though He landed on his sword it didn't help as Hibki was pushed down into the ocean. He let's his sword go and swims to the surface barley making it* ugh, that better work.

Tai

{Tai walks over to the side of the ship and yells down to Hibki.}

So is that game?

{War Greymon floats above the water water. Ready to strike.}

W: You fought valiantly. If it weren't for our brute strength our skills would've been reflected and nothing more.

I'm beat, you win. I want a real one on one next time though. None of this having Tai shoot a cannonball at me, and Tai, You're the better tamer than me. Then again I need to get a new team.

Tai

{He smiles.}

Agreed. I want to fight alongside Agumon but I meed training. So let's grow together okay?

Deal, we'll train together sometime. Now, can I get out of this water? I'm close to passing out and don't want to drown.

Tai

W: Allow me!

{War Greymon carries Hibki back up to the ship before reverting to Koromon and plopping into Tai's arms.}

Wow. We really cut it close.

Thanks. Now, am I allowed to heal? I still have a broken leg from a cannonball.

Tai

God yes! Don't wait!

*He uses a diarahan to fix his leg* Ah that's not pleasant. I love magic though. My hospital bills are pretty much nonexistent thanks to dia skills. *He stands up* How long have you two been partners?

Tai

{He holds Koromon tight and smiles down at him.}

Six years since we first met. We were the greatest team back in my world.

K: All our friends were really strong too!

Man, in my world I was a demon tamer for a week. It was a fight or die kinda situation but the skill difference shows. *He laughs* I'm pretty sure your stronger than the demons in my world.

Tai

Not personally but the Digimon might be. The bad ones have a bad habit of breaking dimensional walls and threatening to delete the real world.

K: We stop them everytime though!

*He shivers* Belive it or not I've dealt with people trying to delete my world. Well not people or demons but gods. They almost succeeded too. Everything except a bit of Tokyo disappeared before me and my friends were able to revert it.

Tai

We almost had them succeed one time...my memory of it is hazy at best...but thet converted the world to data and merged with it....that was scary.

Well, I hope to meet some of your friends, if they're half as good as you are I'm in for some good fights. So how do we get off this ship? We're in the middle of the ocean.

Tai

I'm sure they're around somewhere. And good question. I'm assuming we'll be teleported back soon enough.

I hope so. So were digimon always a part of your world or did they show up out of nowhere? I know for me the demons showed up out of nowhere and attacked me.

Tai

They weren't apart of the real world. But we first learned about them when we discovered the Digital World. The border was weak so they would appear in our world via computers and tv's.

Huh. Yeah we didn't have any warning. We were just attacked and almost killed. I lost my demons upon transferring to here. I was pretty good in my world actually.
