*entering the ruins of LeBlanc he begins searching the area for Nexite. sure enough in what appears to be the epicenter of the blast he finds a large cluster almost 4 feet high. he begins to salvage it for smaller crystals*

Anything I can do in the meantime? I'd feel bad just sitting around.

*Makoto exits the portal looking around the ruins. Her eyes than focus on the Nexite in the center*

Seems we have quite a bit to gather.

*he hears Yu's request and ponders it*
Since you seem to be the strongest fighter I would request that you stand guard.

*There's a man in a bear suit passed out in a corner, he probably had a long night.*

*A young girl was walking past, and noticed Yu immediately.... she doesn't say anything, she just notes the way he's carrying his arms and scampers off....*

*Yu gives the brawny man a nod.*

*Yu turns around and noticed the bear.*

Teddie? Is that you Teddie? What are you doing here?

Teddie-Anon

*He wakes up, rubbing his eyes.* Wha? *He catches sight of Yu* S-Sensei?!

*he looks at Makoto*
Stand guard with Yu. I'd feel much safer if two sets of eyes were watching out for me.
*he ponders Mona's suggestion*
I suppose you could hand me my tools. I would love it if you helped with the direct extraction of the crystal itself; however, this is a very delicate technique, so once I have all of my tools scour the place and see if you can find another cluster.

I can do that!
*Mona nods, ready to follow NotIgor's orders*

*He tries to think back.* Well, i might have gone to a party and uh... Drank too much, that's really all i remember. *He puts on a guilty look.*

Makoto

*Makoto nods, she then turns around walks up to Yu noticing the strange looking bear*

Well Yu, seems like you got a friend here.

*She has a smile of relief knowing its not an enemy*

Yu-Narukami

*Yu smiles at Teddie warmly.*

It's good to see an old friend, after all, that's happened.

Kazuya

*The young man hurries to take cover, trying to not get noticed. His right hand is on the hilt of his sword, ready to draw at any time.*

I see...they really are a group now, what are they even doing here...?

*Kazuya lets out a growl of frustration.*

Well, anyway, what are you doing, Sensei? *He seems inquisitive.*

*Aitome walks along street, tired and wanting something to drink, however instead of Leblanc he finds the group, curious to figure out what is happening he climbs up a nearby roof, watching over them

*a slow clapping sound can be heard as a young, Lavendar-haired man emerges from behind a ruined wall*

Oh wonderful. The self-proclaimed heroes are here. Looks like you made a new friend too. Continuing your plan I take it? Hope you're not expecting too much.

*He looks over to the Lavender-haired man, surprised by him.* Who are you, and what plan are you talking about?...

*Yu's expression shifts to a more serious one.*

That's hard to explain...right now we're just trying to collect these crystals, it's for something important though.

Yu-Narukami

*Yu looks over to Gamma.*

Oh, Gamma. I didn't think something like this would interest you that much. Suprised to see you here.

Teddie, I believe I already briefed you back at the forum, remember?

*Teddie shifts his attention over back to Yu.* Oh, can i join? I've been wanting to do something besides sleep the day away.

Important like what, what even is going on here, Yu? Gamma?

*Kazuya decides to leave his hiding spot and stands in front of the group, not letting his sword go.*

Can someone explain to me? People were freaking out because of this...!

*Teddie looks over to Mona.* Oh, right, i forgot about that after i got drunk. Sorry about that. *He gets up from off the ground*

*Gamma shakes his head and sighs*
Well, I like hanging around these old, broken places for the quiet. Guess my surprise when the group planning to blow this place skyhigh shows up.

Long story short Kaz, this man
*gestures to NotIgor*
Wants some help getting rid of the Nexus, you know, the place we live. In exchange he's offered some other world, but how many random people with plans for destruction do you know who keep their promises?

Makoto

*Makoto tenses up a bit being surrounded by unfamiliar faces*

It seems people are starting to show up, hopefully they wont cause a problem.

Mona

Kayuza, if you want to know things just go to a dang forum some time. They're great for obtaining new information.

Yu-Narukami

*Yu spots Kazuya.*

Looks like it's some kind of reunion, huh.

It's hard to explain but I'll try.

We've found evidence that this world isn't quite what it seems.

To be blunt, we're stuck in a loop of sorts that just keeps repeating over and over again as this world is becoming less and less stable.

*Yu looks hesitant to continue.*

At the moment, the best solution we could find is to erase the Nexus.

No one would be harmed in the process, in fact, if anything everyone would be saved.

If what I've heard is correct it's less so that things repeat and more so that everyone dies and is replaced with another version of themselves.

So, we're going to try and destroy it...

Anyway, Sensei, i'd like to tag along with this thing you guys are doing. Would you mind if i joined? *He gives a big smile.*

*Yu smiles again at Teddie.*

*Aitome then jumps into the middle of the group, landing with grace and donning his thief uniform, hand near his short sword as he speaks

Right.. save everyone... then explain to me the death of Black Mask, "Silver Hair", she didn't pose a threat did she? You could have easily pacified her by throwing her out of the bunker, but no, you killed her instead. By this act, I can tell you don't have everyone's interests at heart. You will mow down anyone in your way if they think differently.

I was thinking about that, so apparently, the Nexus really IS an unstable world.

*Kazuya lets go off his sword, and takes a few steps forward.*

But what guarantee do I have that this is true? Can you prove it to me, somehow?
I would prefer avoiding senseless destruction...even if from the start, I've never been fond of the Nexus existing.

*Yu looks at Aitome with a confused expression.*

Killed? What are you on about...I spared Migrant. I never killed anyone!

Yeah, if we don't have a body, there's no proof of her death

*Honoka enters the area through an opening in space, climbing through it like it were a window. It closes behind him, and he waves to his comrades before turning to the newcomers.*

*He points to the man with Lavender hair. He then grasps his forehead, as if it's in pain.*

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head*
Alright, now we get to the real question.
Do you have any sort of evidence, at all, that any of what this man's saying is true? No offense, but some sort of infinite loop sounds exactly like the sort of crackpot theory made up purely to manipulate idiots.

*Gamma's right arm casually reaches towards the staff on his back*
Maybe you're willing to just go with whatever, but I'm not so foolish as to trust someone I've just met.

*Looks over to Aitome.* From what i've heard, this "Migrant" person got very aggressive and attacked first, it was a case of self-defense.

Yeah, case of self-defense, bro. Those are always justified.

*Makoto turns to Aitome*

Its not like she gave anyone much choice other to fight. We tried reasoning, but she wouldn't listen. And Yu never killed her. He made her unable to fight any longer. Do you think he really wants death? He and everyone else with us are trying to save everyone! But, when we tried telling her, she didn't want to listen to reason...

*Yu looks back to Gamma.*

I saw a man die on tape.

He looks identical to the brawny man you saw before.

How is a dead man still walking around?

Also, if this really is some trick, explain what these crystals are exactly.

Then care to explain where she is? Last I saw of her is you stabbing her, it's only logical she bled out in the bunker, you never struck me as a good guy Silver Hair, but you're not gonna even mention it? Is it just another step in the ladder for you huh?

Same goes to you, couldn't you have restrained her? Used magic to throw her out? If you can't even stop somebody without the use of violence how can you assure the safety of everyone?

I dunno, I've seen like, three versions of bluey. Is it so unlikely that multiples of him were drawn in and died? That just proves that the Nexus is the Nexus. No evidence of some time-loop nonsense.
And that's ignoring the possibility that the tapes are fake

I-I can't do much as of now, with one arm broken I'm not useful in a fight. We also couldn't through her out do to a barrier that wouldn't allow anyone in or out. I tried talking to her...but when someone wants to fight and only fight there's not much we can do in the end...

*Yu stands firm and unbudging.*

*Aitome clutches her short sword, eyeing everyone with a cold stare, eyes beginning to glow blue

*Honoka pulls a leather-bound journal from his jacket, and tosses it on the ground in front of Gamma.*

It's all in there. Countless retries to fix this shit, and all of the attempts failed. If you don't believe it, then you can just thank us when your ass is saved.

You watched the video footage, you saw what happened to her. We can't be held responsible for her dumb decision.

*After a few more minutes of this, he closes the journal and slowly leaves it on the ground. Kazuya takes a deep breath, and sits down, holding his head.*

Another conflict... I hope this one listens to reason...
*he puts the crate behind him and straightens himself up*
Migrant or as you call them black mask intruded into my personal quarters, which you saw, before ranting about how the Nexus mustn't be destroyed. I believe that I set up a barrier in an attempt to prevent fighting... clearly that didn't go as planned... After explaining my cause to her, she lashed out at us... I was focusing on the barrier so that nobody else would enter and be caught in the crossfire... wasting more life. What I do know is that Yu never dealt a death blow. He simply incapacitated Migrant. Whatever happened after is unknown to me. I decided the best choice was to flee hearing the clear anger that awaited us behind that door. As to what is in the crate that would be another story.

*Aitome's eyes glow even brighter, the air around him beginning to cool, his breath appearing in the air.

*Yu looks over the situation with a sigh.*

Perhaps it would be better to leave the area for now. Neither of these two seems keen on listening to reason.

It was all simply self-defense, and Yu said he cauterized the wound so they wouldn't bleed out.

*Mona turns into a van*

*Yu hurries over to the van.*

Hey, we doing anything with the crate or are we just leaving it here?

Running away just makes your standing even worse, now we know you aren't going to be open with us, saving the residents while you run shadow operations against us... hopeless...

Hazama, Tatsuya, the entirety of the Protectors/Guardians, most "enemies" we've had.

*After this, he makes a cracking noise with his neck, and stands up with the journal in hand. He walks towards Gamma and places it on his chest.*

Before dismissing anything, you really might want to read this, even if it's not evidence it brings a lot of insight into this world and how it actually works.
From my perpective, this place is a menace to everything outside of it.

*He then turns around and faces the group going to the portal, and makes his way towards it.*

I have my own reasons for this.

*Makoto runs quickly to mona and hops into the back seat*

*Yu turns around facing Gamma.*

Izanagi-no-Okami!

*Yu crushes a card in his hand and Izanagi-no-Okami appears in a flash of brilliant blue light.*

*Izanagi-no-Okami spins its blade as a torrent of fire is unleashed in front of Yu to ward off the ice. Yu slowly pulls out his Katana and touches the hilt in a strange way.*

*Aitome seeing the crate is locked in place beings to encase it in ice, grabbing onto it,

*tendrils of darkness come out of Gamma's sleeve, he grabs them, forming a whip, and swings the whip to strike out at Yu*

*Izanagi-no-Okami tried to block the whip of darkness with its weapon causing it to become entangled by the whip.*

As I said before Gamma, I'm not interested in a fight.

*Yu slashes the air with his katana causing a rift to appear in midair before Yu steps inside causing Izanagi-no-Okami to dissipate.*

*He draws his knives, and slashes a whole in space before leaping into it and disappearing.*

But I know how you really are.... I'm going to enjoy this. Assuming your plans go into action soon enough of course.....

I couldn't care less about your bond crap. Its nothing more than another lame attempt to make yourselves feel better, and as soon as its convenient for you, they're dropped. Like Migrant. Bonds are meaningless, and ultimately useless.
