Cave of Mischief
Having used her actual barrier earlier, Risako is left with little recourse but to take the fire, using her staff to part the flames and minimize the damage. Still, the girl is overall pretty fragile, her dress starting to show some wear.
Meanwhile the girl tries focusing her thoughts, directing them to Fate
Um... Please hold out your hand. There's something I can only do with other Magical Girls
hoping Fate gets her telepathic message, Risako keeps an eye out for the older woman's flyby and jumping to give them a high five as they go. If Fate agrees to it, they'd notice some of Risako's power flowing through Fate's armor and to Bardiche, enhancing their next attack with Risako's chains of light.
Action: Connect - adds light Holy damage and a medium chance to bind to each of Fate's hits this turn.
Bind - prevents movement for 2 turns, but does not stop attacks that do not require movement, such as the breaths this Chimera is fond of.
Cave of Mischief
With Apollo's protection and Fate's healing, the girl would begin feeling quite a lot better. Physically, anyways, as her dress is mended to near full capacity. The girl can barely stutter out
"T... Thank you..."
Risako's face visibly reddens as so many people go out of their way to help her. Its a little embarassing to get this much attention, especially because of her mistakes.
Its supposed to look heroic. Traditional defenses don't mean much against a Witch so its helps me be more confident.
Its true that her dress wasn't really practical for combat. But that wasn't really the weakest thing about her
"T... The light illuminates the darkness, seeking out evil without fail. Starshine!"
the girl quickly chants another spell, stumbling over her little chant before waving her staff at the creature. This time its only a single ball of light, but its also perfectly controllable. With unerring accuracy Risako swings her staff to guide the ball into the serpent head
Action: Starshine - Medium holy to Serpent head. Can't miss.
hp - 90%
Cave of Mischief
"M.. me?"
Risako's a little hesitant at first. All the times she'd practiced it had been with her mentor which... Didn't end up so well, but hearing the excitement in Fate's voice causes the girl to smile. eagerly nodding to Fate
"A.. Alright. I'll put it to good use."
Risako briefly touches Bardiche, letting the power flow through her as she had done several times with her mentor before. Once ready, she takes a deep breath, pointing the sparking tip of her staff at the Chimera's final head
"The light shines upon the just, becoming one with the storm and a blade to pierce the darkness.
Sparkling Thunder!"
With this new power boost Risako's usual ray of light begins sparking violently, becoming one with the lightning and flowing together as a beam of destructive force that aims to pierce through the remaining head
Action - Sparkling Thunder
Severe Holy + Severe Elec. Pierces resistances.
Cave of Mischief
Risako nervously looks back and forth between Dio and Eris. It takes her a second, but while the girl is nervous, she's not inattentive. And the real reason may have been mentioned
"You stole something, didn't you Eris?"
what that something was Risako had no idea, but even if neither of them were trustworthy, there was an easy way to resolve it.
"If you'd both let down your defenses and show me the object, I should be able to see what's going on."
Luck Quest
Overhearing the news, the lady said something about how they were messing with the world, right? Maybe if.... The young girl taps her foot a few times, before walking over to the map and feeling it for a moment
Ok... Lets see if I can find it...
The girl attempts to remember the place where she drew the weird cat-thing and, just in case,
tries to scribble it out with her marker
M.... Maybe that'll work?
Luck Quest
A young, blonde girl sits in the seat of a long, black limosine. The older gentleman driving looks across to the girl and asks
M: Are you sure you want to respond to this?
G: W... Well, I haven't gotten out in so long... She did send it for me, I at least wanna see what its about.
M: With all due respect milady, I should at least accompany you.
G: It'll be fine, I just wanna... Well not see... But....
The man nods as they pull up to the shop, parking their vehicle and walking around to the other side
M: Very well milady, but you call for me at the first sign of trouble, understand?
G: Yes sir....
Satisfied, the elder gentleman opens the door to allow the little girl outside. Her eyes are a startling blue, but.. There almost seems to be a cloud over them. The girl taps her foot on the ground audibly, and seems to have no trouble finding her way inside
Luck Quest
Risako shrinks a little at the stranger's touch, but doesn't move much otherwise. The poor, stuttering girl, well out of her element quietly says
I.... I... I don't know... I just ended up here.... I'm not... I'd never hurt anyone...
The young girl mutters something under her breath, before realizing how quiet she was. Risako clears her throat and speaks a little louder
I... I think I'm missing something here.
Overhearing Star's casual conversation, Risako's eyes go wide. Great, she's in the same room as a bunch of psychopaths. Risako starts taking deep breaths, just don't do anything suspicious and it'll probably be fine
