New from that nerd who takes fanfics too dang seriously: Tokyo Butterfly
Hello, y'all. I haven't really posted on here since last year when Persona 5 was new, but I figured I'd get back on the forum since I'm getting the ball rolling on playing through the series again. And why am I playing through the series again? Well, I'm writing fanfiction for the first time in years, and I wanted to get the old creative juice tubes unclogged.
With that charming image firmly glued to your eyeballs, I present to you my current project:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12892847/1/Tokyo-Butterfly
...A Persona 5 "OC insert" with the basic premise of "this is what happens when a really proactive OC shows up a week before Ren does and throws the entire causality of the effin' game completely out of whack and sends the plot spiralling down another direction." Think of it as Persona 5: Eternal Punishment if that pleases ya.
I'm five-chapters-and-an-epilogue into the story as of last night's update, but already I've deep dived into the Heavy Things category with Shiho Suzui taking a prominent early role and the OC herself being a bit of a sharp cookie about stuff, so reviews to let me know how I'm doing will definitely be appreciated.
Warning: Since I'm "That Guy" who takes even my fanfiction writing projects as seriously as I would were I writing original stories, you're gonna have to find out what the pairings are yourself as you read, since I did not decide that ahead of time and do not particularly want to advertise ships in the summary of the story.
That having been said, Makoto Niijima is best girl, f*** you, fight me.
...I think I forgot where I was going with this. In any case: Good morning, Yongen-Jaya!
Wait, no, it'd be eveningtime in Tokyo right now, wouldn't it... hm.
