LeBlanc C and C: Cyberpunk Batista Resurgence

The thick layer of dust plumes into a visible cloud as I move away some sheets covering furniture, revealing the well worn and loved stools from the counter as I move about the shop cleaning away the signs of time's passage. I move through thoroughly, unpacking the various stored trinkets and bits of decor before eventually doing the dishes. The TV and Jukebox are also finally unpacked and plugged in, their lights flickering as life returns to them along with this shop. Taking a seat in a booth, I settle down with my tea in one hand, book in the other, not bothering to flip the sign on the door just yet. I lazily flick the pages as I let the Jukebox begin to cycle, steam rising from my mug invitingly. As I finish my reading for the time being, I gulp the rest of my tea before dawning my usual apron and placing myself behind the counter. "Alright I guess. Time to serve drinks and change lives..." An audible sigh escapes my lips as I toss my ponytail and scoot my book closer to me on the bar, should it be a slow night as I expect...

Eris

*A young woman walks into the cafe, taking in the sights. She stops for a moment, and awkwardly sits at the counter, obviously not dressed for such a casual occasion. She nervously takes out a small amulet of a bird, and holds it to her chest* E... Excuse me miss. Can I have something to drink? Just water will be fine, I'm only passing through after all.

-Labrys-

"Hm? Ah, Welcome to LeBlanc. Just a water? Sure." I produce a basic glass, adding ice before pouring cold water from a pitcher and sliding it over to the lady. "Here you are. Passing through you say? Not from around 'ere?"

Rom_Dolos

*Rom walks in lost in though, hands in his hoodie's pockets, looking around while mumbling.* Finally... Peace and quiet. Say, was this here before...? *Turns to Labrys while fiddling with his phone* Ah, hello there. I would like one green tea, please.

Kuroumi

*Kuro has taken a stroll around Shibuya, finding herself at the entrance of Yongen-Jaya's LeBlanc. Bored like usual, she decides to enter the small cafÃ©.* We meet each other again Labrys. It's been a while, good to see you're doing well. I'll take a cup of green tea, please. *She takes a seat in an empty booth, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.*

Eris

*Eris takes a small sip of the water before responding, nervously turning over her amulet* You could say that. I only found myself in this area very recently. Fortunately the members of a local church were willing to help me adjust. Still, there's quite a lot to get used to. *Eris smiles at the other customers and waves to them* I see you have more visitors miss. Don't mind me, you can easily tend to the others first.

-Labrys-

"A green tea? Sure thing." I reach beneath the counter and produce a jar of leaves, adding some of the mix to a tea seep. Lowering it into a mug of boiling water, sliding it gently to ROM. "Let it sit a bit, so it has time to brew. And yeah, its hot so..careful, kay?"

*Aitome walks into the familiar cafe, sitting down at a seat before tracing a symbol with her finger on the counter, Ahh, feels good to be back here, its always nice to get out there but nothing is better than the original,

"Ah Miss Kuroumi. Indeed it has been, hasn't it? A green tea for you as well?" I find a second tea seep and add the leaves, sinking it in another mug of boiling water. I nod slightly as I pass it to her. "Anything else for anyone? You Miss Cleric?" Looking towards Eris I smile gently and shrug. "Yeah it can take a bit of time to get used to. I'm not all used to it myself either sometimes. But. Eh. Grows on ya a bit y'know? Sadly not always in a good way though..saw that one plenteh of times."

Eris

*Eris smiles and waves to the other customers* I see we meet at last. *Eris giggles as she glances at Pika* Or for some of us, we meet again. Have you been doing alright? I've heard tale of some chaos happening recently. *Eris looks down at her amulet, it depicts a small bird mid-flight* I hope no one was hurt.

*Jumps over counter and looks around for whiskey*

E-e-eh?!? *Aitome then jumps back from the smashed windows, ducking underneath a table to escape the smashed glass before getting out, sighing C-come oh! I know it's pretty chaotic around here but already?

OOC: I'm just gonna ignore it, I'm not really feeling it. I bow lightly to all who enter and slightly force a smile. "So much for a slow night..is there anything I can get anyone? So many..new and old faces...ah, perfect example. Hello Miss Aitome. Lovely to see you again."

*She smiles kindly at Labrys.* Thank you. *Sighing and leaning back into the seat of her booth, she enjoys the atmosphere again ignoring the broken window.*

*Eris smiles and attempts a short bow from her seat* Please, call me Eris. I've heard a few bad stories around here, but fortunately I have yet to witness anything. I do what I can to make the world a little bit better. It may be confusing at first, but there are people in need here as well. *Eris giggles as she watches Pika* Now now little lamb, calm down. She'll be able to get to you soon enough.

Saeko had opened the door and stepping in, scratching the back of her neck. It was a tiresome day, even if she hadn't ventured too far from home. She stepped into the cafÃ©, hoping for a drink and a moment to relax. Her blank expression quickly turned to one of annoyance as she looked around. "I had hoped the rumors of this place were exaggerated, but... that seems not to be the case. Perhaps it would be wiser to find some place else."

*Sits down at booth* Wonder why LeBlanc always gets blown up or abandoned, one way or another... *Sighs* May I have a nice coffee?

"You could say that Rom? I'm technically Boss's..Apprentice? For lack of a better term. Ive ran LeBlanc many a time in Boss's absence, and I've just come back from a much needed break. So I'm no stranger."

*A 16 year old "girl" pushes the door and walks in, looking around to get a feel of the atmosphere. Clearly she likes the look since it compliments her style a bit. For this reason, she got curious and decided to stick around for a bit instead of the usual quick drink.* *He sits at a booth, legs crossed and doing a bored pose while waiting for someone to get him a drink. Meanwhile he adjusts his blue necklace appearing specifically to be a blue sodalite teardrop amulet. The clothes he has on show no parts of skin for reasons being to instill that he's a girl.* Ooc: Note: When I alternate between pronouns I'm still using the same character because this character's a trap.

Of course, there's no need to tell me if you don't want to. Just know that I'm here to listen. *Eris begins to awkwardly toy with her bird amulet as she looks around the place. Her gaze lingers on Rom's wolf pup, but she soon takes another sip and continues observing*

I quickly busy myself with the various orders, blinking slowly and shaking my head for a brief moment as I pour Akira his coffee, and froth Naho's Cappuccino. "Here you are. A fresh cuppa. And your cappuccino miss blue hair." I nod curtly and wipe up some of the counter. "It has been quite awhile, Aitome, Joker. I have been having a much needed rest. Yourselves? Adventures still I take it?"

I nod quickly to Saeko and simply mouth: "I know the feeling. The quiet never lasts" Before looking to the haughty looking "female" waiting for a drink. "Excuse me, Mr Trap. Anything I can get for you to drink? You do have to order, it won't just appear. I'm not that magical."

*Seeing more people come into the cafÃ©, Kuro drinks her entire cup of tea.* Once again, thank you for your service Labrys. *Leaving 500 yen on the counter, Kuro walks out of CafÃ© LeBlanc.*

Mmm! Something along those lines, since the last time I saw you a civil war happened and I changed myself about 10 thousand times, at this rate I'm gonna go old! Hehe... *Aitome then laughs to herself lightly as she turns to Heart Stealer, giving a wave Hey Heart Stealer! Hope your doing good! We should talk more! Huh, I thought I toke all the alcohol here last time... guess there is still a little bit around...

I pat Pikadaboi gently and place some shot glasses in from of him with a small smile before turning my attention, in a slightly frantic manner, to Akamoto. "Alright. As mentioned, I took a break. Needed some alone time to kind of rethink my life and what I was doing with it."

It does seem that LeBlanc is alive and well again. *Drinks whiskey* I hope the attic is still well.

Saeko nods at Labrys while walking to a seat to take, acknowledging Eris. "Little lamb, huh?" She whispers, before raising her voice for Eris to hear. "I suppose the conversation went well. If a bit... perplexing, hard to digest."

"Yes Miss Kimono, I have several herbal mixtures. Any preference in flavor or preparation?" I ask as I return to the counter and shuffle around under it looking at various jars of leaves.

Hmm. [Segata enters with a furrowed brow of disapproval.] Hmph! [Segata uncrosses his arms and holds his hands up ready to dispense righteous fury.]

Huh, well same goes for you too. Akira Kurusu, nice to meet me! *Holds out hand to shake hands*

That's all the time I needed here. Thanks for the tea! *Rom leaves a 500 yen tip on the counter before leaving*

I bow as Rom exits, collecting and washing his mug promptly after, looking to Joker and Akamoto. "What sort of tea Akamoto? And Joker, what do you mean family? You married?"

It can be a little hard to adjust, but with the help of a few locals I've been able to do fairly well. *Eris giggles and looks at the end of her staff* At least, I assume you're also new here. That's what you make me think of anyways. Someone lost in a strange land. I've helped my fair share of travelers before, so if you ever need someone to talk to, you can usually find me in the Kanda area. *Eris looks over to Segata with a smile, watching the poor table* My my, do be more careful little lamb. I don't think the table's done anything to deserve such punishment

"Hello sister." I produce a jar of Orange Hibiscus Blend and empty some into two seeps, preparing both a mug for Akamoto and one for Luka. I slide them over carefully to the two, making sure not to spill any of the boiling water slowly infusing with the tea in the full mugs. "Again, careful its hot. If you need anything let me know. Same goes for you cutie." I nod towards Luka at the last bit and smile turning as I make Bona his hot cocoa.

Also, yes I was waiting for you, not for it to appear out of thin air...that being said, I just want some Hot Cocoa please." he said, stroking his hair and his "blue" eyes looking at @-Labrys- with a blank stare. *Her eyes were blue, but most of it was absorbed by the black, and her hair was black with a purple tint. It was long and wavy and has 6 ojou ringlets at the end. That being said, her voice was one of the only places that actually grew like life wanted to. Though still feminine, it was deep.* Ooc: Sorry, was busy doing laundry.

A giant plume of flames suddenly bursts forth in the center of the cafe. Within it, a dark figure can be seen obscured by flames. They look around at everyone within the cafe with a twisted twitching look in their eyes before turning to face Labrys. "F-fire!?!" The floor beneath them slowly becomes singed as they stand on it with their flames growing larger and larger by the second.

Saeko glances at Sanshiro's antics and sighs, closing her eye before she begins to speak. "Yes, I suppose I am still 'new' here. I believe it has been a few weeks since my arrival in this... 'Nexus'. It has been a bit difficult to adapt. My home had no concept of... 'magic', and I find it hard to interact with the people here. I have never been much of a social person, but the people here..." She looks over her shoulder at the others in the building.

The dark figure obscured by flames flies into the wall head first after receiving Segata's kick. "F-fire!!!" The figure crashes into the wall leaving black marks where it landed before slowly getting up. "Fire..." The figure holds his head and flaming tears fall from his eyes causing small flames to ignite where they land.

Eris

*Eris looks away from Segata and pays attention to each of Saeko's words. She continues giving an almost motherly smile* These people are certainly themselves, that much is certain. Its a lot to get used to. Though I have yet to see any evidence of magic in the area. *Eris looks down at her bird charm for a few moments, holding it tightly* Though perhaps that is simply because I do not get out often. Today's the most active I've been in weeks. *Eris looks back to Saeko, giving a concerned smile* Though it seems like something is bothering you. If you have any burdens, feel free to speak with me about it. After all, if I can relieve even the lightest of sorrows, then it will all be worthwhile.

"Thank you very much. What would your name be? Mine is Malloryn, I don't feel like saying my last name though..." Malloryn said, taking a sip of the hot cocoa not even waiting for it to cool down a bit and leaving a tip of 500 yen for the burnt tongue. *Even though she now has to wait for her taste buds to come back, she's ignoring it quite well. For now, she's just going back to her booth and playing a certain mobile game on her phone. Where did she get it from, her purse of course. Definitely not her skirt that has pockets inside it.*

Frantically serves everyone, sliding out Akira's expression, Aigis' tea, and shoots a quick wink at Luka. Turning my attention to Cocoa, I smile and bow slightly. "Young miss, anything I can get for you?"

A-ah! Fire?!? *Aitome then gets up and attempts to smother the flames by stepping on them, eyes flaring red in attempt to not burn herself

Fire

The dark figure is tossed into the floor without mercy. It slowly gets up holding it's stomach before throwing up flames on the floor. "Fire...ugh...fire..." The dark figure walks over to the wall and simply lays there with a pained expression.

Kamen-Rider

*Suddenly through the door bursts a man on a motorcycle... that man...* *It's Hongo Takeshi! The first Kamen Rider, who is conveniently played by the same actor as Segata Sanshiro!* *He points at Segata and clenches his fist as 1970 karaoke music plays in the background from somewhere!* Brother! I knew I'd find you here! We must settle this feud I'm pretending we've had. Next week or sometime after that depending on our schedules, you and I! The GYM! I shall see you there! *Hongo drives away and with his departure, the music ceases*

I let out a sigh as I review the previous description... "So poor...first "Batista" instead of barista, then "expression" instead of espresso? Man this narrator needs to get a better autocorrect..." I shake my head and clean glasses quickly as I move between guests... "Ah, Miss Malloryn. My name is Labrys. Pleasure to meet you. Anything else I can get for you? Or anyone else?"

"Well, is there anything else that you ha-" *Her phone began ringing, the caller's name being "AMFI" and then she muted her ringer volume and went out to the back to answer.* "I wish I could stay but my boss wants me to talk with me, I'll be back tomorrow...perhaps? Anyways, nice meeting you too Labrys! Goodbye!" he waved at Labrys before going out the door.

*Hongo does a quick U turn and wheelies as he moves towards Brave, hitting him in the face with the front wheel* YOU ANIME EYED FOOL, DABBING IS PART OF OUR LEGACY!

"Would you like any coffee by this here robot?" I laugh with Cocoa and feature to the myriad of beans behind me on the shelves. "Also Joker~! Who is your wife!?"

They are based off legends from my homeland. Of course, they're just stories, but they still manage to be interesting.
