Sun Mall 2: The One That May Have Philemon
(Homura wanders through a large mall looking around curiously, she spots the usual things though a few do stand out, such as an odd blue door and the large pink tree in the center of the place. Beyond that Em seems to have a currently closed shop here as well. And some place called the Peace Dinner? She's not sure why it stands but it does. Regardless the girl continues wandering about looking for something to do or someone to speak with, the day's earlier events weighing on her mind quite a bit)
*Madoka walks alongside Homura, holding her arm with a bright smile* Let's check out the clothes stores, Homura-chan!
*Mona smirks at Igor* Sup, daddy?
*On the second floor of the mall a small game store labelled "The Game Cave" can be found, having moved locations. Inside is a collection of board games, card games, and video games. Although its rather small, even for a mall store, it seems as though the space has been managed very well. There's even enough room left over for a few tables for customers to relax at. Behind the counter is everyone's favorite edgy teen.... I mean, a familiar young man with lavendar-hair, who seems to be waiting for something* Man, what a drag. The mall is so much farther, and we get more people just walking by. *Gamma shrugs* Though, considering the last place almost burned down I can see why we moved.
(Homura wakes from her thoughts with a start, having in fact forgotten that Madoka was there as well. She mutters under her breath about not exactly wanting to) Sure Madoka why not... Um also hey can we talk about well you met Senri earlier.. So uh yeah I kinda want to talk about that I guess. (Her usual smile is absent as the girl walks alongside Madoka, clearly whatever happened wasn't exactly a good time)
*The preacher wanders into the game cave, with a positive attitude and a perfect posture. He speaks to Gamma* Excuse me, sir. Are there any games you can recommend to me? Perferably something that sends a good message and isn't tok violent.
*Walks through the mall* Get out of the hospital they said. It'll do you good they said. Three months is too long they said. Stupid doctors, I'm all she's got here. Throw me out.... geh.
*Gamma sighs and straightens up, looking straight at the preacher* What genre are you looking for? After all, there are all kinds of games. I'm sure we've got something that fits the description, but might want to narrow it down a little. you know?
Mm, I did. I don't know what happened, but, anyone that needs help is welcome! It's a magical girls duty to help people, after all!
*don't mind the weird sloshing noises in the blue door! Nothing is happening there! Just move along! Igor's new assistance is uh... fusing personas! Yeah...!
I suppose sports and party games would work best. After all, I do tend to have friends over a lot.
*Diego, and a lot of dinosaurs behind him, enters the mall*
*Walks into Game Cave* Gamma? Yo. Got anything that will waste three days? I got thrown out of the hospital and can't go back for a while.
*Gamma moves over to the computer and begins typing* Lets see..... You want a good message, so unless the general "team sports" thing applies that probably rules out the sports genre. But for party games, lets see.... Most of those are about friendly competition. Perhaps something from the Mario Party series? Its a bit cartoonish, but a fun one nonetheless.
*Gamma looks up at Shinji's arrival and sighs* Well, lets see... There're probably plenty of games that'll fit that description. Unless you meant three days straight no sleeping, in which case you'll probably want an RPG of some sort..... Come to think of it, do you have any systems? I mean, I imagine they're not too hard to make, it simply hasn't come up before.
Ah, yes, Mario Party. I'm not sure how my friends feel about that series, but i'm sure I can get them into it. Which installments do you have?
*Diego goes to the game cave, while his dinosaurs go elsewhere*
[Leo can be seen sitting on a bench in the mall and watching people pass by with his eyes closed. It makes you wonder how he sees while his eyes are closed. He seems to be smiling peacefully as he is content with this simple lifestyle.] Sure is a nice day out today. I wish every day could be peaceful like this.
(Homura sighs and looks around at the rest of the mall, vaguely considering checking out the Blue Door before simply continuing on to a clothing store) Yes it is... I should explain what happened though, to sum it up? She went kinda crazy Madoka.. Trying to kill people kinda crazy actually, I stepped in and uh... (Homura pauses and toys with her hair for a bit obviously trying to put it off) Well I um had to stop her the only way I know how, shooting. (Homura grimaces and leans into Madoka's shoulder) Turns out hurting people is both much easier and harder than Witches, who knew huh? (She laughs bitterly at her rather poor try for humor)
*Diego enter the game cave* "Hmm, what is this place?"
(Enters*)
Action RPG sounds good. I got a 3ds, waddaya got for that? *looks over the shelves* You know, things have really changed since I first got here, I remember when you were working in that Pancake stand, wishing about how you wanted to be one of the cool guys or something like that.
I see... *Looks down* I bet it wasn't easy, Homura-chan... If someone's out of line, you have to stop them... You're stronger than I would have been, I think. I'm sorry, Homura-chan... I should have been there with you... *She hugs Homura and smiles sadly* Are you okay...? I'm sure if we're good friends, she won't so anything bad anymore...
Alright, lets see here.... *after a few more key strokes, Gamma pulls up all the Mario Party games in stock* Looks like we have numbers five through eight in-stock now. I hope you have one of the consoles to work with them. *Gamma looks back at SHinji and enters a few more terms in the computer* Alright, for the 3DS we only have two Action RPGs in-stock. The remake of Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time, and another remake, this one for Tales of the Abyss. Abyss probably has a better story, considering the heavy focus LoZ games have on dungeon-crawling. *Gamma sighs and gets off the computer for a moment and shrugs* Well, there's really nothing for it now. Sure, I'll probably always be doomed to work lame jobs, but it helps. Though not nearly as much as that free hotel I found.... Which may or may not be evil. I'm not gonna question it.
*PK then busts out of the velvet room, trailing behind him wet pancake batter all over the mall as he jumps into the Game Cave, shouting and flinging pancake mix everywhere DID SOMEBODY SAY DELICIOUS PANCAKES?
*Diego appears in front of Gamma* "Hey edgelord, I think that's what they call you, would you please tell me what this place is?"
... (Homura nods slowly and smiles a bit, resting her head against the other girl before she starts walking again... Though she's got no clue what to look for, it's been months since she actually went clothes shopping) Yeah I hope so Madoka, she seems better but only time can tell right? Um anyways what did you want to find!? (She shouts and grins, forcing the usual cheer back into Homura forces back the usual cheer and leads her girlfriend by the hand... In spite of actually having no clue where she's going because the only shopping she's done in ages has been for guns)
*Gamma sighs and summons his persona* Shiranui, Ice Age. *A thin layer of ice freezes the pancake mix in order to prevent it from getting into and harming any of the games* Calm down there. I worked at a pancake joint for one day. Coincidentally that day got like five people I knew visiting it, but still. There are no pancakes out here.
*The preacher sends a warm, gentle smile towards Gamma as he lifts his hat slightly, revealing in greater detail his vibrant blue hair.* I'll take 6 and 8, please.
*Gamma sighs again and turns to Diego* This is the Game Cave, a combination board and video game store. At least, I hope that's what you mean. *shrug* There's always the larger question about the world I'm getting a touch tired of answering.
"Oh, well that's all I need to know." *He walks over to the shelves*
Well, um, I want some winter clothes. For both of us! I know both of our favorite colors, so I thought we'd get matching outfits. Like coats with long dresses and leg warmers, and matching beanies! Does that sound nice, Homura-chan? *Madoka was very much in her element*
Both, cuz I loved the originals. How much?
Sounds great! I would have came if I knew it was open! At any rate if there are no pancakes I shall take my leave! I'll be in the blue door if you need me! *PK then scrurries out of the cave, running back into the Blue Door and closing it before whirling noises can be heard coming from it
*he walks about withing the mall* Where the hell is the armor shop?
*A dinosaur goes into the blue door*
[What have you done] *Upon entering the blue door the room is completely dark, you can't seem to see anything but you can definitely smell something sweet, as just up ahead is a long masked man, speaking lowly Welcome... to the Pancake Room, my name is Pancake Knight.
Alright, that'll be one moment sir. *Gamma heads behind the counter and looks at the shelves, after a few minutes, he finds the Mario Party games in a few minutes and brings them up front, turning towards the preacher* That'll be around 7,946 Yen. Awkward number, but just blame taxes for that. *Gamma looks over to SHinji and sighs, typing on the computer* Well, you should be able to find them on the shelves around the room. Looks like they'll total around 9k after taxes. Dunno the exact number
(Homura nods stunned and simply allows the clearly more fashion minded girl to lead her, clearly she's more at home in a weapons store than this) Sure Madoka sounds great... I'm not much of a clothing person really so yeah I'll just quietly leave this up to you, if you ever need help with fighting or something I think that's become more my speed? (She shrugs and looks around the store, a time when... No she can't think of a time that clothes store were enjoyable. But nevertheless Homura Akemi grins to herself simply because her company is happy)
*A very confused Philemon appears in a swarm of golden butterflies behind PK.* What is even going on here? What's happened to the Velvet room? I'm pretty sure I instated a no eating policy while in here...
*The preacher reaches into his wallet and pulls out a laminated card* Do you take credit card?
*The dinosaur looks confused as he looks at Pancake Knight*
*Finds them after a while and brings them to the counter* So, enjoying life?
*Runs up to Philemon speaks to him with shock* Grandpa!? What are you doing here?
Of course we do. Not that small of a business. *Gamma swipes the card's magnetic strip on a reader near the computer and hands it back to the preacher, he also presents them with a small screen that has a pen of sorts and keypad attached* Alright, now you'll just need your signature to confirm the transaction and you'll be good to go. I hope you can excuse me while I work with another customer. *Gamma quickly scans the games and rings them up on another small pad* Lets see, that is 9,433 Yen. As for my personal life, well, you know I don't talk about it much, but yeah, things have been quite a bit better recently. *shrug* Guess this place isn't so lame after all
*PK then snaps his fingers as the lights turn on, before them is a giant kitchen with cooking utensils everywhere with a giant bowl with a spoon in it towering before them as PK speaks to the dinosuar This place exists between pancake mix and water, frying pan and stove, it is a room only those bound by a "cooking book" may enter, I am the chef of this place, remember that well. *PK then speaks to Philemon, not moving his gaze away from the Dinosuar Ah, welcome home honey, would you like a bath, dinner or perhaps... pancakes?
[Magicaloid 44 flew into the mall.] Can't see myself buying much of anything, but it might be interesting to see how different a mall in Tokyo is...
*Hands Gamma 10K* Nice to see you finally seeing the even side of things. Thanks.
*Gamma sighs and begins painstakingly counting out the 567 Yen in change* Not sure what you mean by "seeing the even side of things". Unless you're trying to call me odd. *shrug* Which I guess is fair.
Nah, I mean seeing the side that isn't the greasy bedpan...... That's a terrible analogy. Ignore that. Keep the change, I hate coins.
Of course! I mean... Even when we fight together, you're more natural than I am in a fight. Atleast, that's how it was before... *Madoka smiles before picking out matching but different colored ugly Christmas outfits* What do you think, Homura-chan?
*Gamma sighs, putting the coins back into the register* Gee, now you tell me. After I counted most of it out too. *shrug* Oh well, guess it can't be helped. Some things are just like that. *Gamma slides Shinji's games back over the counter towards him* Anyways, here you are I guess. Still not sure what you're trying to get at, but its no big deal really. The point is I'm a bit more relaxed now. And that's nice.
Right, that was what I meant. *Grabs the games* Bedpan..... Maybe I have spent too long in the hospital...... *He mumbles to himself as he leaves the shop*
... Sure Madoka as long as you're happy with it! I spend more time dressed as a Magical Girl anyways so ya know. (The girl's fashion sense is frank nonexistent, so ugly or not she really doesn't care as long as Madoka picked it out... Though perhaps it could be more practical? Ah well she's got a pocket dimension for storage) Anyways how are we paying? Or should I just... Well time magic is very useful on occasion... I'd rather not but if we have to. (She whispers to Madoka under her breath, even Homura sounds unsure of the idea. Not getting away with it she's sure of that, but morally speaking it's not really her style.
*Shiranui then appears next to Gamma, lounging on a piece of hardware or something as it speaks Good on you Gamma! You can actually be pretty nice when you want to!
*Gamma sighs and leans back in his chair* Oh who asked you anyways? No one, not even if you use the "I art thou" argument. *shrug* You just love talking at the worst times, don't you?
*Shinji sits on a bench outside the shop and slams TOTA in his 3DS* Time to get chipping.
Eh, isn't the best person to ask for advice yourself? Something like that, *Shiranui then shrugs in unison, shrugging as much as a dragon with a tail can shrug as it continues Well its boring sitting around doing nothing! Figure I would come out and talk for a bit!
[She walks around, looking into the windows of a few stores.] Well, the clothes look cute, but are useless when I'm stuck like this...
*Gamma sighs and shakes his head. Magicaloid can see his conversation with the image of a firey dragon as she walks by* Good grief. First off, you can't sit. For MANY reasons. None of which I will go into right now, second, isn't talking to me literally talking to yourself? Lastly, you could scare away potential customers. *With a shake of his head Gamma dismisses his persona once more*
I'm not actually sitting! I'm merely floating just barley above the object! To answer your second statement why don't you go and talk to yourself then? This is alot different you know! Lastly don't you think covering everything in ice would scare away customers? *Shiranui then opens it mouth again not before being dismissed however and disappearing
Oh yeah. I forgot how much I hate Akzeriuth.....
*With his shift well over, Gamma closes up shop and walks around the mall. Stopping at a bench near the fountain. He ends up flipping a coin into it, never to know where it lands*
[The small robot, having literally slept the night in the mall, walks up to the fountain as Gamma tosses in a coin.] Ah, that's quite the waste, don't you think?
*Gamma sighs and shrugs* Maybe it is. Maybe it's not. They say throwing coins in a fountain brings luck. Probably just something they do for a little more money, but it's no big deal either way.
Heh, it's such an obvious con. Though it's not my problem if people fall for it. A few coins or not they add up. [She looks into the fountain with a smile.] I suppose it'd be dangerous for someone like me to try and fish them out.
*Gamma chuckles and shakes his head* You're not seriously considering diving in there for maybe a couple hundred Yen, are you? *Gamma looks at the girl for a moment and ponders before speaking* Come to think of it, what would you need money for anyways? I doubt you have living expenses after all.
[She giggles while shrugging her shoulders.] Who knows? Hehe. Maybe it is a only a couple hundred, but it would be better for that money to be in the hands of a young girl like me with nothing, than a business that can easily earn a bigger profit, wouldn't it? It's not like the mall will miss a few hundred Yen in change.
That's true enough, no doubt the mall makes enough off the businesses renting space here. *Gamma looks back into the fountain, with coins spread all around it* Still, It seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through. Though I guess magic would make it easier. Poor sap they hire to do it probably doesn't have any.
*Throws one million dollars into the fountain*
I doubt my magic would be very helpful in this situation. I suppose I could just de-transform and dive in, but even I admit it would be a hassle.
*Buys the mall*
*since apparently we're throwing American Paper money, it falls into the fountain and begins to dissolve. Gamma just watched it happen* Such a waste...... *Gamma snaps back to attention and looks back at the Robot girl* I'm sorry...... De-transform? I kinda thought that was your natural state. But I take it that's incorrect? I mean, you seem most comfortable like that so I kinda assumed....
Well I'm glad you had enough senses to not eavesdrop on me and Akemi-san in the cafe the other day. But since I can't contact Fav, and Akemi-san seems so open about it, I see no reason to be quiet about it. Despite my appearance, I assure you I am a Magical Girl. Sorry if you expected a frilly dress instead of metal. I could just walk around as normal human me, but what would be the point of that? With how crazy this city seems in just a days time, it's only reasonable I'd want to stay in a form that enhances my abilities.
*Gamma looks at the Magical girl for a few moments, as though inspecting them* Sorry, I'm simply far more used to full-on robots at this point. Sure, there aren't many real secrets around here, I guess, and you don't seem to mind any misconceptions. Though, I know Homura has to worry about over-using her magic. Not sure what happens if she does, but I guess we don't want to find out. Is this not the same with your kind? *Gamma briefly bows to the girl* Sorry if it seems like I'm prying. I've been looking into the nature of magic here and anything you can give me would be helpful
Eh, misconceptions are fine. It's easier for most people to buy the 'robot from the 22nd Century' excuse than have to explain everything all the time. Don't worry about prying, I don't really care. Though if Fav was hear he'd have a fit about me breaking 'Magical Girl Rules'. Heh, Akemi-san told me about her issue with magic and these 'Witches'. Not long ago I didn't even believe in Magical Girls, and now I'm learning there are different types with their own rules. Compared to her, I got quite the lucky break, huh? I got quite the deal, having these powers and not having to worry about anything. Sure, we're encouraged to 'help people in trouble', but I'm not being forced to do anything to survive.
*Zero is inside a record store, obvious in the crowd of people inside, being abnormally tall. he consistently paws thrugh the records, being careful to not hurt them.*
*Gamma briefly shudders at the mention of Witches* Don't remind me of those. Trust me, if you never saw a witch it would be too soon. Those things are terrifying even by my standards. Homura might have gotten the short end of the stick as far as magic goes, at least, as far as I know the worst anyone else gets is falling unconscious. Still, for something as casual as you make it sound seems like there are a lot of rules. Sure nothing'll happen if you break them?
Such a shame for her and her friends, huh? Worst I got with my magic is just having a useless special skill. Not really. There's really only one rule, against letting humans finding out my real identity. So as long as I don't de-transform in front of you, it's not much of a problem, I don't think. Besides, Fav isn't around to know anyway, so what can he do if he can't find out?
So effectively the only rule is that you can't transform in public or give out your real name. Or Magical Girl name. Depending on what form you're in. That likely includes me, since I'm about as human as anyone with magic gets. Though, maybe you should be a bit more careful. Some of this magic stuff is automatic. May not need Fav to come yell at you. *Gamma tilts his head for a moment* Unless you've broken it before. I could see that happening
*Tatsuya wanders through the mall with a brief case in his hands, knowing him it's probably something from Em's place. He glances at the fountain and begins walking towards the pair, might as well met the new kid right? And Gamma... Isn't that bad, maybe* Yo how's it going there? Tatsuya Suou but call me Tatsu.. And how've you been Gamma? *He nods to the girl before raising an eyebrow at Gamma, he can't help being a little suscept but no need to be violent* Haven't really seen you since that thing with Lux? I dunno exactly, but hopefully you've been keeping outta trouble eh?
*Gamma sighs and scratches the back of his head* You know trouble seems to follow me, don't you? I haven't done anything wrong if that's what you mean, but I've had a few close-encounters I'd rather not have seen. *Gamma briefly perks up* Oh yeah, I caught Shinji a while earlier, seems he's doing fine, although perhaps a bit too worried about Aqua.
*after walking out of the store, realizing he still has covert bank account information so he can pay for fucking anything he wants, zero buys some nice vinyls and keeps them in the bag. noticing his familiar pals, he walks over and notices even tatsuya is there* hey hey dudes!
I could probably easily give my Magical Girl alias out. Would help people identify me, and 'Magicaloid 44' isn't exactly going to give someone a hint as to who I really am. It might be possible things are automatic, but I doubt there would be need of Fav's weekly meetings if they were, so I'm not worried.
*Gamma waves over to ZeroBeat and gestures to a nearby bench* Hello again, trust things have been treating you well. Looks like wr just got a little Gathering started. *Gamma shrugs and looks back to Magicaloid44* Alright, 44 it is then. For convenience sake of course. Dunno if I introduced myself but I hope you can guess my name after Tatsuya shouted it.
*Tatsu chuckles for a minute and smirks at Gamma, clearly he's amused by the man assuming he's looking for crimes or something... Gamma also isn't wrong but no reason to be blunt with that* Heh... Yeah trouble follows most of us doesn't it? But eh I'm not that worried about you doing anything, and what's your deal anyways kid? You're some kinda Magical Girl that's a robot? Pretty odd but meh seen weirder. *In spite of sounding disinterested he examines the girl more closely, it would seem as though he's trying to get a feel for her design*
Gamma seems a rather strange name for a human. You sure you're not the android here? There's a strange refreshing feeling to hearing someone say 'Magical Girl' without much of an interest, compared to my city where there are so many rumors and fan sites dedicated to spreading info and capturing blurry photos like we're some kind of urban legend.
*Tatsuya shrugs, the only odd thing about it is the mechanical part.* Magic is old hat to me, I've been at this whole magic thing for... Almost 20 years actually, heh. I don't really see it as abnormal anymore, more like the people who can't do this shit are the weirdos from my view ya know?
*zero looks confused, and then kneels down to the robots height* uh, are you some magical girl? based on what youre sayin, sounds like it.
[Magicaloid 44 nods to ZeroBeat.] That's right. My transformed state may make me look and sound like a robot, but that's not the case. The whole 22nd Century thing is just some made up backstory.
Well, Gamma's not my given name, simply what I ask to be called. *shrug* But really, what more is there to a name anyways? As for myself, well, I've been in the area for over a month so there's really not much left to surprise me. Learning that Magical Girls are real? Sure. Kid chucks meteors for fun? Why not. *sigh* not sure if that's a good thing or not though.
*Zero still looks kinda confused, but then starts examining the tiny robomagic girl and looks quizzically* so, you arent really a robot? strange, i get a signal from you...
I guess I can't say much about names, since I'll be going only by Magicaloid 44 for a while now. [She shrugs.]
Made up... *Tatsuya shakes his head at the strange girl, clearly she's not one for sharing much. Oh well at least she's probably not trying to destroy the world* Nevermind that... And 44 okay then, I've heard odder before but it's up there, anyways hope you have fun around here kid! There's all kinds of interesting things just like Gamma said. *He smirks to himself as he speaks, clearly what Gamma's unsure of being a good thing this man simply considers a fun way to spend his time*
A signal? Don't know what that means. Though I think Fav said something about our entire bodies changing when we transform. So I guess I am a 'real' robot so long as I stay like this. I don't know specifics, I could hardly care. Fun, huh? Well, after the incident yesterday, not sure if 'fun' is the right word, but it's certainly more active than my city.
Trust me Tatsu, it's a lot less interesting when it's towering over your head and trying to eat you. But aside from those parts it's pretty alright. *Gamma sighs and turns back to 44* Well, the most important part of a name is that it feels natural for you. That is to say, you're comfortable being called it. Everything else is secondary.
*Zero stands, and thinks for a moment* theres been a lot of androids showing up lately....oh well, doesnt matter to me. whatre you guys doing? *Zero looks incredibly passive. he is a strange roboguy*
Well, it's not exactly my ideal choice for a name. Not like I had a choice. Well, it's the perfect name for the type of character I am, and it'd be strange to change it after getting so used to it.
*He shrugs at Gamma, the threat of death... Eh he's used to it by now really* Aww but that's what makes it so exciting right... Okay kidding aside I do see your issue, but eh I'm just used to this by now, you forget Gamma I've been getting nearly killed about as long as you've been alive. *He sits down on the fountain and looks down into the water, funny how much things haven't changed huh? All these years and still fighting... Hell still fighting some of the same foes too.* Geez maybe it has been too long though, oh well it's not like I can just stop or something.
*Gamma shrugs* Alright 44, if that's what you're comfortable with, we'll roll with it. But you can always make something up. Especially before everyone really knows you, that's when it gets complicated. *Gamma looks back over to Tatsuya, he bites his lip for a moment, before deciding to speak* But what if we could stop? Get along, no magic, no fighting, no nothing. Just a though experiment of course, like Philosophers do all the time. Though usually they argue it the other way. "What if magic is real?" I'd like to ask, "what if it wasn't?"
What if it wasn't? *Tatsuya looks around the mall for a moment, considering just where he might be without all this crap... Maya probably wouldn't, well Sudou would still be around. Good chance he'd of just* I'd probably be dead if I lived the same life but without magic actually, long story short this crap may be dangerous, but it saved my life a long fucking time ago. So I really don't think I'd want to live in that world, what about you?
*Gamma chuckles for a moment, though he looks down into the water as though avoiding anyone's eyes* I don't have to try as hard to imagine, since my home was magic-free. It was kind of boring, but in many ways it was similar too. Everyone would run around, worrying about their own lives and whatever problems they encountered. Sure, there weren't any angry gods around, but to them, it was just as large. *Gamma looks back at his feet* Sometimes, I find myself missing that.
*Tatsuya stares over to the tree in the center of the mall, small flames forming in his right hand that flicker into various shapes, the thought of not having magic seems to warrant using some* I guess I can see your point... I'm not really the best judge on these things huh? Most people probably didn't summon a Persona at age 7 but me? Heh. I guess memory issues or not ever since I've known somehow that it was there, so the idea of this just isn't something I can imagine. *He clenches his fist as the flames die out, done reminding himself his power is there. Tatsu sighs then rubs the back of his neck before standing up* Anyways it's an interesting thought, but just totally unbelievable from where I'm standing.
But..... *Gamma sighs and shakes his head* Nevermind. It's not really important. Not s useful line of thought, I guess I just wanted to get it out. *Gamma stands and bows to Tatsuya* My apologies for wasting your time. I won't do it again. *Gamma turns and makes for the mall's exit*
*Tatsuya waves it off and shrugs* It's fine Gamma, not useful sure but it's an interesting thing... Gives me something to consider I guess. Anyways be seeing you. *He too departs the mall, though not before giving The Velvet Room one final look... For now it seems closed, but he'll need to come later.*
*After a long day, Gamma returns to the mall. Fortunately, today seems to be his day off, so instead of entering the Game Cave, he walks by and instead wanders the Mall, he may be looking for something, but what, no one knows*
*A slightly rehabilitated Senri roams the mall, sporting her uniform and new eyepatch. She seemed to just be glad to get away from school and her plans failure, looking out for otaku merchandise and complicated books*
*Gamma yawns, briefly checking a small, rectangular device. He catches sight of Senri and waves over to her* Hey... You never called me... Take it you haven..... *Gamma notices Senri's new.... Addition to her eye. And sighs* What happened to you? I thought you were staying out of trouble.
Erm... Well... It's a long story. *Senri smiles awkwardly* I had a reason for not calling, but, I learned my lesson, in a nutshell... I'm lucky to have only lost an eye.
*Gamma sighs and shakes his head* Yeah yeah, that's what they always say. Believe it or not, I'm just trying to look out for you a little. N.... Not like it means anything. Just.... *sigh* I'm starting to wonder why I even have a phone.
Trust me when I say... I had my reasons... *Senri looks down regretfully. She couldn't possibly have called in her position. She speaks up again, her voice quiter* ...When you're a criminal, you have to be careful of your circumstances...
Ina
*is walk8ng around the mall* Wow...... *notices senri and her eyepatch* Sensen! Are you OK? What happened to your eye?
*Gamma looks at Senri for a moment, then ends up rolling his eyes* Look, I don't know, or really care what you're talking about. The authorities here haven't done that much worth respecting anyways. But if you're getting yourself into trouble, you really need to be more careful. *Gamma sighs and shakes his head* I don't care what you're trying to do. Especially if you don't have much in the way of magic. It can be dangerous you know.
Oh, hello, Ina-chan. *Smiles at her* Just had some trouble the other day... I'm no worse for wear, I think. Does it make me look more mysterious? *Senri nods to Gamma, looking different from her previous expressions* I was careful enough to make it this far, yes? ...I don't quite believe you though. If you truly didn't care, why be concerned at all? If I self destruct, that's my own business, not that I have any intention of doing so. At any rate, I know more about magic than the average person. It was more... I wasn't strong enough to see things through and paid a price.
Ina
Yeah! Mysterious and cute! *smiles back* But are you sure you're OK? I may not be a Guardian Spirit, but I still can protect you!
I'm okay, Ina-chan. I just have to re-evalutate some things... If you want the whole story though, we'll have to go somewhere quieter... I feel like I atleast owe you that much. You're my first real friend, after all.
Ina
Umm.... OK! I found a relaxing forest, that should be good!
*Gamma shrugs* Well, perhaps you misheard me then. I said I don't care what you're trying to do, you should tell me before getting yourself in trouble. Then maybe you'd be able to see better. *Gamma chuckles* Not like its any of my business I guess.
*A normal but fancy looking girl walks through the mall, seemingly in a different attire then her usual (If you even knew what she usually wears.). Of course, not many colors changed, just the clothes. What she had on currently her "Substitute Teacher" outfit, consisting of a short jean jacket covering half of her galaxy-designed shirt with the usual blue pendant. Along with that were a denim jean skirt and some purple tights going with her black heel boots, not being as long as what she wears for her usual outift.* *Currently she was talking on the phone with her workplace to get her schedule straight for next week, as she's currently busy using someone else's money to buy some shit. Aside from the outfit change, she was still the same, mostly because of her purple-tinted jet black hair and her trademark "elegant" hairstyle.* "Relax, I always take breaks on the weekends, I promise to work extra hard this upcoming week. That being said, I gotta go, I'm going to be in front of human contact, call me later." she said as she hung up and faced Gamma, putting away her phone in her purse that she always carries around since it goes with almost every outfit of hers. "Now, you there. If it's not a bother, can you kindly tell me where to buy some new clothes? Preferrably ones of the color white, or some floral designs. I've been waiting to try some things new."
Well, it was all looking smoothly for awhile, then things got messy and... This happened. *Senri smiles ironically as she adjusts her eyepatch* I don't think I'll attempt the same thing twice, atleast... Admittingly, I don't know where to go from here. And... We don't have to go that far. We would be more suspicious going to a remote area... Maybe the fountain? No one really pays attention there. *Smiles at Ina* here is fine too, as our friend is probably confused as well...
*Gamma sighs and shrugs* Afraid I don't know much about the clothing department. I just work that game store you might remember. You know, Game Cave and all. Though I have seen a few clothing stores around. Afraid I'm not much of one for fashion
Ina
Oh, OK! *sits down, smiling at senri*
*Sits down next to Ina, a different look in her eye* Well... Do you remember all the commotion about the Black Samurai, advocating revolution and anarchy?
Ina
Yeah, I remember.
[slithers in looking like a snake centipede hybrid] wonder how today'll be like
... *Senri speaks quietly, for only Ina to hear* I'm the Black Samurai. And the reason I have this eyepatch is... I messed up. There was a lot of opposition to the revolution I desired. I thought it was the will of all people to be free... After losing and seeing my aspirations fall, as well as this injury... I'm a little lost. I want to change, to not be the weak person I was, and make sure no one else has to feel like that... Is desiring such a thing ridiculous? I just want to live as I please... Was I wrong? What does it take for the heart to truly be satisfied and happy? *Senri looks down, looking smaller than ever*
a samurai ay?.....this just got interesting
Ina
*is in shock about this revelation, and has a small frown on her face* R-really? I'm not mad at you Sense..... I'm just surprised..... I don't know what it takes to be happy, but I know I wanna help you. I'm your friend, and I'll protect you as much as I can! *the frown turns into her signature cute smile*
Ina
Ooc: ugh, autocorrect
*A giant red laser cuts through the mall*
*An even thiccer and brighter laser comes through afterwards*
Ina
*is surprised by the lazer* What the heck!?
*Gamma on the other hand doesn't seem to notice the lasers, instead just moving on like nothing happened* Oh well, nothing for it I guess.
COUNT ME IN BABY IF DAY GOT DEM LAHZERS
*Senri smiles and nods at Ina* Thank you. I'm sure you have heard these kinds of grievances from humans a lot, yes? I'm glad you chose to listen to this ones, though... Your friendship is appreciated, Ina-chan. I hope I find the meaning of true strength and happiness soon.
*An EXTRA THICC laser cuts through the mall*
[brings out his scythe] or..just a fight
*AN EVEN THICCER LASER CUTS THROUGH, SHREDDING EVERYTHING THAT COMES WITHIN 10 FEET OF IT'S DIAMETER TO ASHES AND ANYTHING IN THE CENTER IS INSTANTLY INCINERATING TO DUST*
*Gamma casually walks through the area where the nonexistent laser would be firing, fortunately incredibly random stupidity for derailing threads is reserved for Leblanc. And not here*
Ina
Well, that's cuz I care about you Sensen! I wanna protect you so you can do that! *tail wags*
*THE EXTRA THICC LASER BECOMES THE THICCEST THING IN THE UNIVERSE MAKING IT CUT THROUGH EVERYTHING, INCLUDING PIKA'S LASER*
Who the fuck is vandalizing corporations on my watch *Deploys anti nigga laser cannon*
*A nuclear explosion is heard from LebBlanc*
*The laser disappears*
Thank you princess.... Though I am confused as to why that laser has such a specific purpose..... I suppose it doesn't matter really. *shrug* All's well that ends well.
You're weird, Ina-chan. I mean that in the nicest way possible, of course. If more people were like you then things wouldn't be so crappy, I think. Maybe if we both just so what we can, the world can improve, little by little. I'm just thinking aloud though.
Ina
*smiles* Thanks! Oh, and also, since I know you tried....*she blushes a bit, before bringing her tail in front of her* .....You can pet my tail now, because of our deal.
Well, I don't mind... *Senri smiles and pets Ina's tail gently, blushing. Outwardly, she seemed modest and humble, but in her head she thought this was the most moe thing she's ever done and was internally fangirling*
Ina
*blushes a ton* I-I actually rarely let people do this..... But I'm OK with you doing it.... *she gently smiles*
*She enters through the giant hole in the wall* Did I do this..?
You know, it sounds kinda lewd when you say it like that,Ina-chan. *Chuckles playfully*
Ina
*somehow, she blushes mire* O-OK, I admit it kinda does....
Sorry. I had to tease. You're practically a cherry right now. I feel better just from this already. *Smiles* I don't have any answers yet, but this is nice.
Ina
*is still blushing, yet smiling* I was hoping it was...
Don't worry, you're absolutely adorable. *Smiles*
Ina
*giggles a bit* T-thanks.
*She's watching Ina and Senri from the hole in the wall* Just kiss already...
Ina
*smiles at senri* I'm glad we're friends, Sensen....
(A young man with hair so ridiculous it can only come from a card-game anime wanders the mall) Its strange, really. Somehow I find it nice, being somewhere new. At least there's not as much trouble here.
