A good anime to show your family?
First off, there has to be a dub available, and second, it just has to be somewhat normal. I was thinking of full metal alchemist brotherhood but I’m wonder about any others.
Anime? What? Never heard of it.

Any movie by Ghibli.
Kimi No Na Wa
Depends on the family, for example, Fate/Zero is an amazing, well-dubbed anime, but it’s pretty dark, and if they’re looking for something cool and fun, probably not the best choice. Perhaps My Hero Academia would be better, but if I remember correctly they’re still dubbing season 2
I’m thinking more stuff like Full Metal Alchemist, not heavy on Japanese influences just to help them start off with. I’d also like little to no fanservice if at all possible.
Ghost Stories ...Okay, that was a joke. Anyway, FMA is a pretty good one, so you might wanna stick with that.
Boku no
Ghost Stories but my post isn't a joke, show them the greatness of Ghost Stories. Other than that My Hero Academia is good to show off
Boku no Hero Academia
steins;gate maybe?
My mother and I have watched Wolf Children as well as One Punch Man together. I think we watched a good part of My Hero Academia too.
Boku no Pico obviously. Maybe Schooldays or Shimoneta as well.
Boku no Hero Academia Exactly!
The Rolling Girls is pretty fun, hilarious and adventurous. It's colorful, has an old Saturday morning cartoon feel and there's little to no fanservice that I remember. It's just fun to rewatch too; the crazy plot becomes more understandable overtime
the rolling girls is fun, but I don't think it's a good pick for neophytes. Like the others said, ghibli movies are a great idea. Things like Howl's moving castle for example. Lemme think for a bit and I'll get you some more names.
Currently watching Little Witch Academia. It's a good contender for family friendly.
^ true. hgere's a bunch of great trigger series that would work. Also, about FMA, it is great, but it's also really dark. Can your family handle dog-girl murder?
I’ll take dark for watching with parents over random panty shots.
Well then go for it. I'd still recommend you start with a ghibli movie though. It'll ease them in. Starting with a 64 episode series isn't easy ^^'
so here are a couple of ideas: Death note, Bakuman ( though wouldn't recomend that as a first time experience), Gurren lagan ( mostly geared towards men.), Angel beats, though it's a bit old and suffers from some pacing problems, Howl's moving castle, Spirited away, Baccano, Princess mononoke, attack on titan can work too, Steins Gate. If you have any questions about any of these, feel free to ask.
I can't recommend any good anime dubs, at all. Family friendly or not.
