And (Correct me if I'm wrong) that Izanami gave Yu his persona in the first place, so the whole argument is pretty much moot.

Game Theory has a major problem with critical research failure, the guy running it just does a lot of cherry picking details, intentionally or not, he still misses very obvious details sometimes that throws a wrench into his theories. In this case, he again seems to have done exactly that, and made a claim that the game itself all but directly tells him is an incorrect claim. It honestly makes me wonder if he actually read half the text in the game, or if he even looked at the true ending. Also the Elizabeth/Margaret mix-up is just dumb. A minor mistake? Sure, but you could have at least fixed it. With all those fancy video editors, he can't correct a name slip-up?

It's not the first name slip up either. He's done tons of stupid shit in his youtube career. Just look at his For Honor video for a grand example of how unbelievably wrong he can be over things that are documented in our actual history that he claims to have studied extensively.

Normally I'd defend MatPat, but after watching that video, I find that very hard to do. Honestly it's hard to watch that opening he did for it, and not think he is doing an April Fools joke or something. He never once mentioned the gas-station attendant, which as we all know (by now since it's 10 years later as he kept saying again and again) was Izanami, who gave Yu, Adachi, and Namatame their powers. Also, while he did mention. Those three, he tried to say that Adachi had a shadow in the form of Amino-sagiri...which would a simple mistake, had Adachi not just got his butt kicked while using his own persona, Magatsu-Izanagi. Which as Mat claimed to understand, wouldn't be possible. Honestly, he could've made a better theory video had he talked about how Mitsuo Kubo didn't get a Persona...that might have been interesting to think about...but to think that Teddie is Yu's Shadow is grasping at some very thin straws.
