Why does everyone think that Makoto is best girl? (My unpopular opinion) I don't exactly think people should say someone is just plain best girl, everyone has their own opinions.

Pretty much the whole Makoto thing.
I found her horrifically overrated, and quite force fed into be â„–2.
I dont dont think she had a personality, her strategy is a clone of previous hiest, and her achievements consist of bitch at others on a bike, scaring off a drug dealer connection, and getting kidnapt for prostitution.
Yet shes still the team mind? Wat?

Haru has a better track record.

Yeah, I feel like Makoto is just... lacking something. We've already had the "strict student council president girl with a lot of pressure on her shoulders" character in P3, and to be honest, Mitsuru still did it better.

That's not to say I hate Makoto, I still like her enough, but after playing through the game once, everyone else is more memorable than she is.

You know that part where you have to go run around giving a pep talk to all of your team members in the Velvet Room toward the end of the game? Yeah, I ran around for a while because I got everyone else but totally forgot that Makoto existed

I think P5 significantly dropped in quality after dungeon 3, and only got good again after dungeon 5. I think dungeons 4 and 5 are horribly designed, and dungeon 5's plot setup is awful. Morgana's whole character arc in that part of the game feels rushed and force-fed down the player's throat.
