All the characters have their annoying gimmicks sometimes and not one character is perfect tbh. (Except for maybe the protagonist, since the protagonist is you)

I dislike Ann and Makoto. Sorry world. They just gave me too many headaches early on, and their story felt like it took a long time to ramp up. Really enjoyed Kitagawa though.

I'm gonna try and be sorta different here.
Like: Yoshida, the best boy in p5 for sure
Dislike: Ohya, a story that goes nowhere and gives terrible perks eww.

Futaba is my spirit animal. Love her to bits. I understand her struggles so much that I actually teared up for her. She stole my heart forever.

Least favorite... While there's no one I dislike, sorry Ryuji. I just wasn't attached to him as much as everyone else.

Haru and Yusuke are some of the best.
Ann is the worst for me, followed by Goro.
Makoto is only okay at best.

I reaaaaally didn't like Makoto.
The thing is, being an Akira and Mech Junkie, I reaaally wanted to like her. But she just seemed REALLY annoying to me.

Also: Ann shouldve had more Shiho moments or just be replaced with her.

Well this is a topic for characters, not party members specifically so it shouldn't matter whether you count him as a party member or not.

Honestly Goro is as much of a party member as Shinjiro is.

Party-wise (because listing confidants would take ages) my favorites were Yusuke, Futaba, and Haru. Makoto was cool, but her confidant sucked. Ryuji was cool later in the game after he got developed enough to stop being "that guy who constantly spills our identity to the world." Ann was never cool or interesting after Kamoshida's Palace.

For confidants. Favorite had to be Tae's and Kawakami's, Hifumi I wish was still a Phantom Thief, and I hated Ohya and Iwai's.

Iwai's reaaally pissed me off. It's a confidant you get early in the game, and you need to practically max your guts to get it.
It's not something you can easily rank like Proficiency, either.

Three playthroughs in and I still haven't finished Sojiro's Confidant
I like him from what I've seen but I fucking hate how is Confidant seemingly refuses to rank up

My favorites are Haru, Ryuji, Makoto, Ann, Sojiro, and Yusuke
Least favorites are Morgana, Shinya, Hifumi, and Futaba

I need to do a second playthrough, but for now? I feel pretty apathetic towards the team except Yusuke is a bro. Sojiro is cool, Futaba is an awful stereotype but i mean she'd probably be my girlfriend on the internet actually that's a lie as she would tease me forever and i would die a virgin

There are quite a few characters I enjoyed.
I can see the merits in Ann, watching her constantly step forward even when she didn't know how, or where to go, but she did anyway; Results be damned.

Tae was a very fun character, what with her drugs and the lot

Futaba's personality in a whole kills me. The super h.acker mode to straning anti-social that she had was a fun blend.

I even loved to hate the characters you were suppose to hate. Lala also needed his own Confidant.

There were a few character that rubbed me wrong though, for a few reasons.

The first one is Mishima (Sorry Admin) He had a lot of potential, but it was mostly wasted on a Beta Male who was more obsessed with the phansite then a fish is with water. It left a lot of dry spots that kinda annoyed me where there could have been fantastic growth.

Hifumi was another character that missed their mark. She was a fantastic character with a lot of potential, but the fact she got cut tells me I can't judge it too harshly

Haru is a non-fleshed out character who is so much of a cliche "The world was handed to me and I hate it" stereotype that it really bothered me. Again, Story cuts, so I can't really be super critical

Yusuke - No, I will not get over the blackmail for nude painting ordeal. That's wrong on so many freaking levels, I don't care how "Corrupted by Madarame" he claims. He still have full function of his morality.

Morgana - Go to sleep... Kidding aside, Morgana was a wasted chance. He was more annoying then helpful, and his mopey "I NEED A REASON TO LIVE" stint felt way too forced, and was more or less a MacGuffin for Haru's intro.

Well considering who I RP as its really clear who my favorite is xD Mona is too cute and adorable, and his masculine bravado just makes him cuter!

Shido is my least favorite. He did well at making me angry.

I 10000000% agree with how so much of Haru was cut.
If an ultimate P5 is ever released, I really hope they resolved this, because I wanted to see more of her! She's very much an anti-Mitsuru, which I found hella interesting !

My favorite is Haru, I have a soft spot for her type of characters.

Least HAS to be Ryuji, he causes so many of the problems they have to deal with, he's a glory hog, he can't keep his mouth shut about how he's a phantom thief, he gets aggressive at the stupidest little things, he never apologises when he makes things worse, and he Always makes things worse.
