It was a phase That stayed

One of my favorite streamers does mostly niche games, so every now and then he streams Persona. Normally I can't stand watching slower turn-based games like these but P5 looked so great I couldn't stop watching. Ended up seeing the entire game and decided I'd try the series.

My friend from Highschool came over and played both it and Tales of the Abyss, then I borrowed Persona 4 from him.

My friend @Boss was like, "Here, I'll let you borrow my vita and you can play Persona 4 Golden." And I did, and now I love the series. Not much else to say.

I once in awhile watch voice actors do random comic dubs, and came across one that live streamed Persona 3. After that, tried looking into Persona more and I can still remember wasting multiple hours of my life on watching Persona 4 Golden: The Movie.

I got Persona 2: Innocent Sin after reading that it had Lovecraftian references. I got Persona 3 for dirt cheap at the same time. Loved both, never looked back.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night.

Yup.

A streamer was streaming it on Twitch. I was pointed there in a raid. I managed to show up during one of the story segments and not one of the dances. And the rest is history.

A guy from high school kept bringing his pos playing persona 4 I asked him what it was and he told me that's when I got curious and got the game for myself to try it out and now I love it

Saw this insanely colourful and stylish game decided why not! 100 hours later and fell in love and had to go back to play P4G

I decided to get persona 3 when I bought my ps2 and I've been hooked ever since

A now ex-friend of mine introduced me to the series through P4. He was helping through the worst part of my life, and gave me one of his copies of Persona 4, telling me that it would help me with coping with my situation. And honestly, it did. Although I'll probably never be friends with him again, nor forgive what he did, at the very least I'll always thank him for introducing me to the Persona series when he did.

My friend talked about it once so I waited years for Persona 5 to come out because I was afraid of getting a previous Persona game for some reason.

i was first looking for the DR anime, but since i thought their artstyles were similar i accidently watched theough all of the persona4 anime.

A friend on steam torrented p3 when it came out and was playing it on there.
And got banned.
I got interested and played myself.

I... can't remember, quite honestly.
Maybe it was a gif of Yosuke in the P4G opening cutscene. A goddamn gif, how lame is that?

Back in Highschool, when my PS2 was still alive, I saw a [pirated] version of Persona 3 and I got it. Aha-- I got super addicted and then got my friends all super addicted to Persona so we're now all Persona fags.


*but I got all the legit versions (Persona 3, P3P, Persona 4, P4 Golden, P4 DAN, Persona Q) now.
